The place has a simple homeyambiance. Plenty of space with a cute little area for music and performances. Decorations around the shop have handmade and vintage items. I went with some friends, and we were excited to try this new place. My friend got the mint chip ice cream. It had chewy bits and pieces in it that were not the chips. It was in the ice cream and clear in color. I got the taro rolled ice cream. It had a metallic taste to it. It was literally like I was eating a metal spoon. Neither one of us finished our ice cream. The only thing that was ok was the boba. The strawberry slush tasted how it should. Other than that, I wouldn't go back. The setting is cute, but the food was a let down. read more

I love this place and I love the people who work here! I've been here twice now and the people who own/run it (I believe a Thai family) are super sweet and nice. Both times I went, they had a karaoke set up and they were encouraging me to go sing but I was too busy enjoying my delicious mango sticky rice with rolled ice cream treat. It was awesome. The second time I came in, they greeted me like an old friend. This time, I got the banana split with regular scoop ice cream. My husband got the mango sticky rice rolled ice cream and agreed it was awesome. We will be going here on a regular basis. read more

Let me start off by saying, while this establishment is CASH ONLY, there is an ATM machine at the entrance. After visiting the Casa Gamino restaurant across the street for some delicious mexican food, me and my family were craving something sweet. As we made our way back to our car, we noticed this typical looking, run of the mill ice cream parlour. As a paramount local, i was shocked to realize I had never noticed this establishment before; at first glance, I thought nothing special if it, to be honest. After some debate amongst ourselves we finally decided, "well, why not?" We ventured across the street and made our way into the parlour. The first thing that caught my eye was the case filled Lego figurines directly in front of us as soon as we walked in that any child who saw would marvel in awe at. How do I know this? because even I was impressed with the Lego Batman, Lego superman, Lego storm troopers, Lego Pokemon and so on and so forth. Getting past the inner child in me, the decor was rather lovely. The seats and tables located across from the counter where the ice cream is prepared, sparkling clean. Cate and, who I can only assume to be her husband, greeted us with a couple of heartwarming smiles. An ice cream mom and pop shop never made me feel so at home and welcome as soon as I walked in. My mother and girlfriend ordered banana and oreo flavored rolling ice cream, the one where they pour the liquid on a freezing surface, flatten it out, and roll it when it reaches optimal texture. I, like most people who would've been sceptical and a bit overwhelmed by the selections of different flavored treats stemming from ice cream in a cup to a sweet sticky bun topped with ice cream, stuck to what I knew, Taro Boba. It was delicious, to say the least. You can tell every inch of the ice cream prepared from scratch, as well as my blended drink, were made with care and love. The prices for each delicacy were very well affordable and appropriate for what they were. I honestly expected it to be crowded on a Saturday afternoon. I can only assume that word of mouth hasn't reached its peak strength considering this place is so new. Hopefully with time and with reviews such as this one, that could all change. You can definitely say they have made a regular out of this critic. I can only hope that this ice cream shop stays open for a very long time. Paramount has a long history of great eatery and places that make you go "wow", and this place fits right in. Right down from the friendly atmosphere to the equally friendly owners. Here's to you Cate. This ice cream shop is #1 in my books. Cheers! read more

This hidden gem is great! The ice cream is good and the place itself is a cozy eclectic and welcoming environment! The decor is adorable and the kids enjoyed it as well as I did!
