So cute, and homey. Went around 7pm and there weren't that many people which is always a plus for me. Was greeted by the workers...and the workers families ? They need to change the music they were playing in the background though. Need some Lo-Fi Or something upbeat to fit the vibe. Can't wait to go back. I got the oreo rolling icecream ? So gooood. Taste of heaven in every bite. I finished it too fast Also, you can add more toppings when you get your cup. I wasn't going to add anything at first because I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do . The lady insisted. I added some little chocolate chip cookies . The spoon was small, so it was hard not to spill anything .‍

This place may not be one with a huge flashing sign, but to be one of the few places in the area to have rolled ice cream is quite a gem to find. Considering it was my first time to taste rolled ice cream, it has become another addition to my sweet tooth collection. Note: they got small crepe cakes here too but on certain days. If you see it, I would suggest you try it out.

First time visiting this place. The owner greeted us with warm welcome. The place was designed and decorated for both adults and children which contained a lot of toys. What amazed us was their decorations of ice cream that I ordered that came out super nice. Additionally, the price is cheap compared to another stores; for example, Taiwanese desserts, class room 32, or Boba indeed.

My daughter and I loves coming to Cate's for the Ice Cream. Its a cute little desert place that sells from Rolled Ice Cream, to beer? Haha Havent tried the food yet, but the sweets are great. We have tried the Ice Cream and Shaved Ice. They also carry Dippin Dots. One if a few places that sells Crepe Cake, but not made in home, so the flavors vary on whats available. The owners are always friendly and smiling. Just wish the Mango Rolled Ice was available year round, its so yummy with fresh fruit and sticky rice read more

This place was perfect! I took a group of middle school girls there and we had a blast! The food and ice cream and drinks were all soooo good! We had the chicken, fried squid, dumplings and egg rolls. All were freshly made and so yummy. The ambiance was super fun and the customer service was even better. We will be back! We were informed they have karaoke Monday and Saturday nights! read more

One of my favorite things to have on a hot day is a good ice cream treat, something not far from my mind every time I passed this place on my daily wanderings about town. To be honest, I was kinda sketchy on the idea of paying $5 for one of their ice cream subs, but since I had a few bucks burning a hole in my pocket, I figured it wouldn't be so bad to take the plunge. Now that I've had a chance to soak in the total experience, I'm quite glad I did. The three flavors they recommended, almond, butter pecan and coconut, worked together splendidly, while the variety of textures, including the slight chewiness of the sticky rice and the hot dog bun it was served in, created a dessert experience I don't think I've had in a good while. The customer service was also highly attentive, certainly ranking among the best I've ever been privileged enough to enjoy, and greatly enhancing the kitschy, friendly atmosphere the decorations provided. Overall, I would say this is one of those hidden gems that everyone should experience at least once, especially if you like your ice cream to have a fetching presentation while being absolutely delicious (personally, I highly recommend trying the refreshing Coconut flavor! It's like a slow jam in your mouth, and your and your special someone are invited to soak in the mellow groove) read more

New to Paramount CA is Cate's Ice Cream. The owner is Cate and she greets you with a big smile. It's an absolutely wonderful experience with traditional flavors and a taste of Thailand. It's beautifully decorated with a large seating capacity. You can take your time to relax and enjoy your ice cream with your special friend and I really like that. My favorite and a must try is the Mango Sticky Rice Rolled Ice Cream. A very light and refreshing rolled ice cream in a cup that includes real fresh slices of Mango and just a little Thai sweet sticky rice. Yummy. read more

This place is so cute! I got the waffle with strawberries and I picked the strawberry chocolate chip ice cream. My boyfriend got the same with pistachio ice cream. We took them to go and I was happy they used fresh fruit that they cut in front of you. Our car smelled sooo good on the ride home! It is also a great price! Yummy and filling. Interior decoration is amazing and beautiful. Super creative, and relaxing inside the store. Sticky rice mango fried/roll ice-cream is delicious, never try it anywhere before. Sweet sticky rice is at the bottom of the cup so don't forget to eat it together with the ice-cream and mango bits. Matcha and coconut smoothies are super good! The owners are super nice. They asked if you like the taste of the smoothies first, and if not they'll fix it for you :) This store is a gem..no...a diamond! Can't wait to come back here! read more

After I told them, they immediately went into action and BOTH walked me to my car and made it known to the man that they "knew" me, to say hi to family and visit more often. I do go there regularly to get my drinks and they have always been very kind and nice. I appreciate the way they made me feel safe and will always only go to that liquor store for anything I need. I bought a bottle of Hennessy for a friend's graduation, and he loved it because it's not just your ordinary Hennessy bottle, it's a limited edition KAWS bottle. The guy at the counter has always been personable but today he showed that he's just another liquor store owner who visits his prejudices upon his customers. I escorted my wife in in order to buy lottery tickets for her father. As she did that I went to the water section to perhaps make a selection but I decided against it. As I approached my wife at the counter the young guy purposefully and with intent looked down concentratedly into my white colored shopping bags. It was a focused, view he took, he was obviously trying to see inside the bags to look for merchandise he erroneously and quite foolishly suspected me of stealing. All I had in the bags were a few pieces of Rocky Mountain Chocolate candy and my wife's leftover breakfast from Ruby's Diner in the 2 small bags, as we'd been to the Citadel Outlets; we didn't buy anything else there because she took ill and we had to return early. But back to the store counter, the guy was practicing appearance-based discrimination and he was visually subtly accusing me of shoplifting. He knew it and I knew it. He resented being called out on it so his true persona surfaced. I held up my bags to him stating, "I'm not a shoplifter so don't look into my bags like that, come on." He pretended to not understand me. After I repeated myself, he angrily said, "It's MY STORE, I'll look at whatever I Want to!" I laughed, because he'd just admitted to practicing the prejudice and discrimination I'd just accused him of. He then tried ridiculing me to my wife: "Are YOU with him?" The guy isn't the kind and cool dude he pretends to be. He's just another heavily-accented liquor peddler who doesn't trust anyone and isn't afraid to show it. He thinks he can mistreat, openly discriminate against, and visit his prejudices upon cash paying American and (US veteran) customers. He told me not to come back. I wouldn't come back, trust me. Just look at my other reviews and see how other people like him have treated me and one will see that I do not suffer fools. I'm not going to spend my money at places where I'm assumed to be dishonest. And why would I want to after being accused of shoplifting? Does this guy know what's going on in this country right now? People like him and me are being openly discriminated against, and being victimized by racists and anti-ethnic prejudice...I'm a USC grad, an Army and Navy veteran, and I've worked for the District Attorney's Office...The Aloha liquor store guy thought he was going to treat me like a common store thief and discriminate against me and I wasn't going to say anything.
