We sat on the covered patio, which was clean, comfortable, and a great place to enjoy a meal. Now, the food. This is where it really shines. I'm a bit of a BBQ aficionado, so I'll be a little nitpicky, but none of this takes away from how great it was overall. The brisket was phenomenal. We tried both lean and fatty--both were excellent. If I had to critique anything, it leaned slightly salty, but the bark, smoke, and overall flavor were outstanding. The pulled pork was just as impressive. Tener, moist, and packed with flavor, with no wasted bits. The Texas sausage was incredibly flavorful, though slightly on the mealy side texturally. That said, the green chile cheddar sausage was an absolute standout. Loaded with flavor, chiles, and cheese. A must-order. The sides were the only area that didn't quite keep pace with the meats. The beans were a bit undercooked and lacking depth of flavor. The slaw was fresh and well-balanced, but not particularly memorable. The corn pudding was solid, but again, nothing that stood out. The sauces also deserve some recognition. All four were fantastic, each with its own unique profile. Honestly, I could've just sat there sampling them on their own. They paired perfectly with different meats and added another layer to the experience. Overall, this is an incredible BBQ spot. While it may not quite reach the level of some top tier Texas joints, it absolutely rivals them and stands out as one of the best you'll find outside of Texas.

I sampled a burnt end piece and fell in love lol The brisket was so juicy, tender and well seasoned. It had a nice crispy crust and just melts in your mouth. The pork ribs were also very good! The crust was so good. The meat didn't quite fall off the bone but was still delicious! The fries were also perfectly crispy, hot, and balanced out the bbq well. They have plenty of seating bunch of picnic tables outside and quite a few tables inside. They also have a bar inside. I wish I lived closer so I could come back more lol I'll definitely have to shop by again next time I'm in the area.

Soby's just won the Wine Spectator Grand Award (highest possible) and a Michelin recommended restaurant for 2025. And it shows. We didn't get any wine this evening, but the menu is as thick as a long novel. Anything and everything is in this puppy. Wines from all over the world, ranging from a few bucks to over $13,000 a bottle. Take your pick. We opted for some beer and cocktails, all of which were perfect. The food. This southern inspired menu with local ingredients was fantastic. We had a spicy pimento cheese app with crispy pita and pickled okra...delish! The beet and goat cheese salad was one of the best we've had. The pic speaks for itself there. The Soby's fried chicken is something you HAVE to get if you go. Weathered wood beams stretch overhead, brick walls hold decades of character, and the warm lighting makes the whole room glow like butter on a hot biscuit. The kitchen hums with the kind of energy that says brunch is serious business. If you sit upstairs at the loft, there are some seats that overlook the kitchen so it's like brunch and a show. The pecan sticky bun is sweet enough to make you reconsider sharing though I wouldn't know because they ran out of it before 11:00a. Service was friendly and quick on the front end, though the kitchen's food expeditors seemed a little short-handed. The result? A slight wait that left some eggs spending a bit too much quality time under the heat lamps. My Shakshuka dish had an egg-istential crisis. Instead of that luscious over-easy river of yolk, the eggs arrived closer to hard-boiled territory--less "runny brunch bliss" and more "deviled egg audition." Thankfully, our waiter expedited another over easy egg to replace the one that came with my dish. The Providence Farm Country Fried Steak was the undeniable headliner--about 1.5 inches thick and fried to golden perfection. Smothered in sausage gravy, it was the kind of dish that makes cardiologists nervously flip through their calendars. The flavor? Steak-ing its claim as one of the better country fried steaks around. The paneer is probably the best in all of the buffets in Gvegas. Nice, thick, and soft. I would honestly go back just for that. They do veggie stir fry here which no other buffet really does. The naan is superb for buffet naan. All their meat is halal! For some reason, their chicken tikka is called chicken kebab and their labeled chicken tikka is chicken tikka wings. Fire either way. Their lamb and legit but pungently lamby. As part of the buffet, they offer dosa. Use the peanut chutney with it. Don't be a bozo like me who missed the dessert section of the buffet. And the lassi and chai.
