Upon arriving I was told by the server that they were busy... to please sit myself anywhere, But not at the back table. I thought that was rude. I expected to be properly greeted and seated. As soon as I opened my mouth to speak , the waitor advised he was busy.... but he was was not waiting on anyone nor was he carrying food or beverages in his hand. ‍‍ I am sure that the look of disbelief that I gave was quite impactful, because after seating myself I was promptly attended to I allowed my server to select my Chardonnay. He stated he would get the houses very best! He did not disappoint! At $15 a glass this wine was delicious and I truly enjoyed it but I was never told the name of the wine upon asking. Maybe they were too busy. I ordered the Banoffe and the Fig Ricotta Toast I received the Banoffe. A properly made Banoffe should make your eyes roll back upon savoring the very first bite. Silky, creamy, smooth and oh so heavenly! This Banoffe was definitely not executed properly and it was most definitely unacceptable. The caramel sauce was clearly burnt and over cooked. The lumpy burnt sugar crystals were clearly present and not able to be masked with the mounds of whipped cream. The caramel was undoubtedly burnt but they chose to douse it up with lots of cream and berries. This dish was not smooth nor silky as it should have been. There was no presence of banana at all! This dish was so unappealing in its presentation and most definitely unappetizing to me. After just one bite I advised the server of the issue and asked for the dessert to be replaced for the Fig Ricotta Toast. He took the dessert and placed the order for my toast. I advised my flight was about to leave and that I would be at the gate directly across from the restaurant. I would pay for my tab and periodically return to check on my fig toast, which was now to be a to go order. My server was so nice to offer to bring me my meal! I agreed! That was very nice of him. I appreciated the level of service increase compared to when I initially arrived to this establishment. The Fig ricotta toast was served on a diagonally sliced baguette toast, topped with fig spread, ricotta cheese, prosciutto, drizzled with balsamic and topped with micro greens. I was really excited about the flavor component of this dish but it too was lacking! It needed more fig spread. You could barley taste it's presence and required sweetness to this dish. The ricotta was nice. The porciutto was not thinly sliced which made it difficult to bite thru and eat handheld. I personally did not care for the quality of this cured meat. I have definitely had better. In addition the was too much balsamic vinegar drizzled across the toast. It's role to add acidity was much needed and desired but there was no balance because there was not enough fig spread to counter balance the saltiness and acidity Balancing out the flavors and textures in this dish was key, but it was poorly executed. The restaurant was not that packed for the cooks to get these two dishes wrong. After paying over $30 for a glass of wine and a piece of toast. I was highly disappointed. read more

I told him, he clarified my order, then gave me my beer. I said thank you and he didn't acknowledge it. I sat with an empty glass and my card out ready to pay and Peter and Crystal didn't acknowledge it. Finally, after Peter cleaned the section next to me, he asked if I wanted another drink. I was waiting for a flight and decided that I wanted more than just fast food in a bag. Popped by and saw that the line was huge. So if you're thinking of eating here then do so if you have a long layover, otherwise you'll be stressed for time (like I was when I thought 1.5 hours would be enough). It's a small stand so I had to wait 30 minutes for a seat. They seem understaffed on top of it and had only 1 waitress for all the tables. On with it and the food -- I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese to eat there and then an order of the fried potato chips and blue cheese to-go (eat on my flight). Both are small plates but together make a big meal. Lobster Mac and cheese was great -- flavorful cheese, decent amount of lobster for the price, and was served on a hot plate so was very warm out the oven and entire time I ate. I would order this again. After take off I decided to pop open the chips and dip to eat. That's how this place dropped from 4 to 3 stars. They fry the potato slices fresh, which is great and would've been delicious if I'd ate it in the restaurant. Instead they put hot, fresh out the oven chips into a styrofoam box so there was styrofoam on all the chips. I ate a couple that looked untainted with the dip which was also pretty good but unfortunately barely ate 2/3 of it. Oh well -- if you're on a layover, this would be my pick for a sit down restaurant in the airport. read more

I told her I'm on a AIP diet and she knew right away what that was, she helped me choose what would be best, either way I already knew I had to order. I got the grilled shrimp, avo salad with onions & cucumbers instead of the tomatoes. She was very sweet she made sure everything was correct and tasted well. I asked her for my dressing to be extra virgin olive oil and lemon& lime To the side, so she brought out a whole set. 5 starts!!! Our waitress was slow. My cosmo was overly sweet so I didn't order another. My husband's crab mac & cheese didn't have any noticeable crab, maybe they just added some crab juice instead of crab meat?? The cobb salad I had with chicken was okay, just not memorable and not very filling. The straw that broke the camel's back was when we needed to leave and my husband told a waitress that was passing by that we needed our bill; she said she wasn't our waitress and stomped off. 99.9% of other servers would have said they'd let our server know or that they'd check into it, but not her!!! I had a layover between flights and was glad I found this restaurant. The food was delicious, service was fast and friendly and I even got some work done on my laptop while I drank my glass of wine. Service is good. Kitchen inattentive. I ordered steak and eggs, steak medium. After quite a long wait the meal arrived, but the steak was just a bit seared on the outside and raw inside. The server saw and said, "That's not medium!" and took it back to the kitchen. Another wait. It got returned to me, still really underdone. This restaurant is in an airport. Every single customer is working on a deadline - catching a flight. There is not enough time for errors like this. I ate the rest of the meal and left the steak on the plate. The server was great about the situation and took the steak off the check (I tipped her for the full bill). read more

This is a tasty option in the A terminal of the ATL Airport. This is where I head when I have a gate assignment of A20 or above. The menu is relatively short, and it is very rich, there are not a ton of options for me, if I want something light before a flight. HOWEVER, it's a very comfortable environment to get a draft beer before a flight. Traveling over the holiday with my tween son... he really wanted a meal before our flight, but couldn't find something that really caught his attention. The waitress said that they would be happy to make a "kids" version of their very popular lobster mac & cheese. I was so appreciative of this, and I thought it said a lot about a busy restaurant, in the worlds busiest airport, to pull this together.
