I came in for a regular manicure…read moreshortly after opening, hoping for a relaxing experience, but everything felt very rushed from start to finish. The manicurist started working on me while another customer's nails were still drying and completed my manicure in about 10 minutes total. Unfortunately, the quality of the manicure reflected the rushed service. The polish application was uneven, sloppy, and lacked attention to detail. Overall, the manicure felt careless, and I left very unsatisfied with both the experience and the results. I even returned and asked the manager to fix one nail, but at this point I'll need to get an entirely new manicure elsewhere. Definitely not the level of service or quality I expected

They put this heated blanket thing behind my back and even though its such a simple concept it really made my experience feel very lavish and relaxed. I got a gel manicure from Jessica and it's the best one I've ever gotten. She was precise with everything especially cleaning up my cuticle edges. Paint job is very pretty, accurate and detailed. At first, she came across as friendly and goofy, but that was mostly a tactic to upsell extra services. When I declined, she slapped my feet "playfully," which felt more mocking than funny. She also pressured me for a tip, glaring over my shoulder to see how much I was giving--very uncomfortable. During the massage, she was invasive, staring me up and down and eyeing my jewelry, and the massage itself brought my leg cramps back. I asked for round nails, but she pushed almond. The result? Out of 10 nails, only 3 looked almond-shaped. The rest were an inconsistent mix of pointy and round. Bottom line: my money is my money. The service felt pushy, invasive, and unprofessional.

There's parking in the back, which is right next to it. When I went in there I was only one other person in there, and after she got her pedicure, they offered her a free massage. I was staring at my phone and when I looked up 10 minutes later, they were still massaging her. I was looking forward to that. I got an expensive pedicure, even though I went in there just for a basic the basic is $25. The next one up is $38 which included a leg massage and hot stone. I decided to do that it was nice. The only complaint there was when she was clipping my skin around my nails she definitely cut off too much and when she used the nail polish remover, it was stinging & I pray I do not get an infection. The staff was very polite, but my next biggest complaint was that I did not get the free massage that the other lady got!! Yes, more customers came in, but I thought that they would've finished with my massage or maybe even just given me a little massage before they went to the next customers I felt slighted. I do realize they got busier, but it just wasn't fair because when I've gone to Floral Nails on Tyson Avenue, Floral Park, no matter who's in the place they always give me a little shoulder and neck massage so this was a bit of a disappointment! I got the higher priced pedicure, gave a nice tip (and would have given more for that free massage) Oh well... maybe if I patronize them again - I'll get the cheaper pedicure and just mention the free massage in the window to confirm I will get it!

Almost every step something was dropped or banged into my finger. I asked her to cut a little and completely cut my nails. I asked her to keep them square she rounded them out. I've also never had to pay before service and I was asked and made to pay before receiving my manicure which was a little uncomfortable. After that her attitude and attention to detail lacked. I'm left with a bumpy uneven manicure with polish on my fingers as well as in my cuticles. Will keep in mind for future reference to not book with her again. I booked an appointment in advance for acrylic nails but still had to wait 15-20 mins. Then they call over a lady who's in the middle of doing a mans pedicure I had to ask her to change her gloves. I show her a fall design (brown French tip with glitter outline on the french) she says $165 so I tell her I just want French nails white tip and show her a photo of what I got last time at the same salon- it was $55 (65 with tip) and she tells me it's $95. I tell her this photo is what I got last time at this same salon the photo I had was even taken inside this salon and it was $55 but she just starts saying something fast I truly don't understand other than that's obviously not the price today.. At this point I've already got the tips on my nails and I'm leaving for vacation the next day so I don't have time to find another salon I tell her that's fine. I specifically tell her I want clear acrylic powder and gel nail polish (so I can get a fill elsewhere because at this point I know I'm not coming back) she starts putting gel builder on my pinky and I immediately tell her no I want acrylic powder. Again more fast talking about "you say gel you say you want gel". Yes gel nail polish I thought I was talking to a competent nail tech clearly I'm mistaken. Also I told her before she got far I don't understand what the attitude was about all she did was wipe it off and take out the acrylic powder.. The whole time she's doing my nails she's speaking her language which normally I wouldn't mind but she's clearly upset with me and the nail tech next to her keeps looking over at me and my nails another nail tech also comes to see my nails after she spoke with her so clearly things were being said. I'm pregnant and came here to relax and this experience threw off my whole vibe. Today was my third visit here and each time has been pleasant. The gentleman Eddie always has a friendly greeting for you. And the entire staff is polite and accommodating. I have only been coming here for pedicures. I stopped getting acrylics about two years ago. So, I cannot speak as to how they are done here. However each time including today, I have been happy with my pedicures. The standard pedicure is $25 and includes a paraffin wax heel treatment. Other places charge extra for that. I was pleasantly surprised the first time. Now, I look forward to it...(it's the little things). I will continue to get my pedicures here and may even try a standard manicure when I have time.
