Review for Castello Salon in Boca Raton: I had an extremely disappointing experience at Castello. I originally went in just to touch up my gray roots, but the stylist quickly talked me into doing highlights instead. I went along with it, trusting their professional opinion--meanwhile, they seemed more focused on how much higher they could run up the bill than on delivering a quality result. The highlights and haircut left my hair damaged, flat, and breaking off. The cut was uneven, and my hair now feels thinner and lifeless--far from the refreshed look I expected. After the appointment, I called a high-end, well-known salon in the area and described what was done. They told me their top stylist would have charged no more than $400 for the same service--done with far more care and professionalism. When I called Castello to express my concerns, the only thing the owner offered was a conditioning treatment. Given the level of damage and how uncomfortable I now feel with their quality of work, I believe they should have offered to refund my money. Since they haven't reached out to do that, I felt it was necessary to share this experience publicly. This was not just overpriced--it was careless and disappointing. I trusted them and left feeling taken advantage of. I would not recommend this salon. Then I had to spend 200 to buy conditioners till it grows out . I've lived in boca raton a long time, no wonder the salon is dead ! read more

I stopped at Castello to get some product that was hard to find in other salons in the area. Leandro was incredibly informative and helpful and answered all of the questions that I had about the product. I was concerned about the effect it would have on my color treated hair. But he explained everything about it, and even suggested a complementary item that I needed as well. The service level was incredibly helpful and Miles above the service I gotten at another high-end salon earlier that day. I highly recommend them. read more

If you are looking for a full service salon PLEASE look no further !! I do not trust many people with my hair so much so that I would fly to New Jersey to have my brother do it. When I finally came to Castellos at a friends urging I was so happy that I did !! I now trust the sexy leondro to do all of my color and keratin! No more flying out of state. The family here makes you feel welcomed from the minute you walk in! Any vision you have for your hair dreams they make come true, even better than you could have ever expected !! Awsome hair salon! Highly recommend it! Leandro and Antonella are fantastic! They pay very close attention to detail. They are also very patient and want to please their customer. Such nice hospitable people. The salon is very clean and comfortable! Leandro did an awesome hair color based on a picture and Antonella always makes sure my hair is in a perfect shape and condition when I leave. I have been searching for a salon like this for years. Glad I found it. Now my husband, daughter and my father-in-law also are clients! read more

I was in town visiting family. I called and got an immediate appointment for a spa pedicure. Annabelle was great. She took great care and my feet look the best they have in years. Totally recommend. You will feel so pampered and leave looking beautiful. The best part is not feeling like they rushed me in and out. It is a true spa experience. read more

I went in for a hair cut, color, and highlights. The place is new and very clean. Refreshments are offered and everything is sectioned off. Hair cuts up front, color is done in the middle and the massage area is in the back. Staff seems friendly more like a family feeling. When I got my highlights I actually had to return the next day as my toner was not properly applied. I was ready for work and trying to fit this correction that needed to be done into my already busy schedule. I had no issues getting the color corrected but I was floor when the lady wanted to charge me $35 for a blow out! The salon was slow, and I have wavy hair which I prefer to wear straight. I had to go out of my way to return and I do not think it's fair to get charged. Over all, the salon is nice. VERY expensive for the services they provide. (They work on a sliding scale - I even went with their junior stylist!) I will not be returning to this salon, maybe I made a mistake by choosing the junior stylist but honestly their prices are ridiculous! read more

I have had my color/cut done by Giselle for years now. I recently followed her exceptional talents to Castello Salon Spa. I am not a fan of the overall general, artificial placating nature of many of the front staff and owners in the Boca area. I was hesitant walking into a new salon, only to be greeted by friendly smiles, warm atmosphere and both of the owners introduced themselves. They graciously squeezed me in a mani for me as well. Perfection. I was also quite late and they handled it with grace, not annoyance. Everyone asks where I go! I am an official,"groupie", of Castello's! Nancy DeMarchi read more

I have been going to Castello Salon for almost 4 years now and I have never had better service! Leandro and Antonella are professional, kind, talented and always willing to go the extra mile to make their clients happy. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone looking for a cut, color and/or style with supreme customer service! read more

Today I had a facial and massage with Devon. It was above and beyond. I have had other facials at well known, high end salons and this was shoulders above the others. Devon is on top of her game. She is the real deal. I have my hair done regularly at Castello by the owners, Antonella and Leandro. Their work, color, cut, extensions is artistic and creative. I am from NYC and have had my hair done at top notch salons, and their work surpasses my other experiences. Do yourself a favor and switch to Castello and the compliments will be nonstop. debbie h. read more

Great place with a nice atmosphere. Staff is great. They do a great job of making you feel relaxed. Haircut with Mariele was fantastic...very attentive and experienced. She did a great job! No more production line places for me...I'll be calling Castello for an appointment with Mariele from now on! read more

Worst place I have ever been to! Owners walk out on their clients in their chair to yell at the employees! Come back flustered, and then proceed to talk crap about that person to the client! Overcharge for services, and undermine everyone else's work except their own. Not the kind of people I want to be around! I will go back to Eleven Spa down federal hwy! read more

I have been going to Antonella and Leandro for 12 years. They are the best in the business. I have never left their salon with a bad hair cut. I am very particular about my hair and that is why even though I live in Deerfield Beach I make that drive to Castello's. In addition to being good at what they do, they are professional and fun at the same time. I always feel like I am walking into my second home with family when I go to Catello's. Thank you Antonella and Leandro for making your customers feel so welcome. read more

Poor customer service. My hair color was terrible and my hair was breaking albeit I spent much money for their so called moisturizing treatments. Always up selling. A friend also experienced a botched color by the owner after spending hundreds of dollars. If you don't want fried hair stay away! read more

Castello's Salon and Spa is absolutely the BEST salon around! From the receptionist all the way up to the fabulous management; everyone is seriously a great team and work very well together. Walking in just takes you to a whole different atmosphere... Very peaceful, relaxing, comfortable feeling. The minute I got with my amazing stylist SAMMY I couldn't help but think about what I wanted to get done next!!! SHE WILL DEFINITELY BE MY HAIR STYLIST FOREVER!!! Everything was so amazing!!! I couldn't wait to show off my new burgandy hair. It was a huge transformation coming from a light color and the way she talked me through the whole process, letting me know what she was doing every step, was great! Thank you so much Castello salon and spa you defiantly have a long time customer here!!!! If I could rate them more than 5 stars I'd give them 10!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I have know the owners of Castello Salon for many years. They are truly good people. I have never been unhappy with hair services (cut, etc.) from Antonella. She did a great job on my daughter's fine hair. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone -- and I do recommend the Salon to friends. I'm just sad that we moved to North Florida and too far for frequent visits. read more

I have been a client of Mariele's for many years. Her skill set is far superior to any stylist I've ever been to. She kept my hair healthy and the perfect shade of blonde. Mariele is always current on new styles and techniques. I look forward to visiting her at Castello when I am in Delray. read more

I was in the mood for blow dry and found this place near by and decided to try it. I am super picky with my blow drys because I have very thick curly hair but just wanted to risk it anyways. I got to enjoy an expresso before we got started. The vibe was very welcoming. They paired me up with Jenni and soooo happy they did! She was amazing!! She did everything I like ( finishing my wash with cold water and cold air after the heat) and very sweet personality. Very pleased, will definitely come back. read more

For many years now, I've travelled from Miami just to have my hair done at Castello Salon Spa. Now you may ask me why? I have tried SEVERAL salons in Miami & not ONE is comparable to Castello Salon Spa. Their customer service is impeccable & their staff make you feel right at home. The minute you walk in, you feel as if your part of their family. Thank you to the Castello Salon Spa team for all that you do! I am a customer for life!!! read more

I got the hotheads tape in hair extensions from the Director, Kristina. I waited a couple of weeks so I could give an honest review. And honestly, they are amazing! I could never do my hair and with these I have the long, wavy Victoria Secret look. I'm in love! They are a bit of work considering I work-out so much so I'm constantly blow drying them, but hey that's the price you pay for beautiful hair. After I blow dry and style everyday, I brush, stick it up in a pony b4 bed, and in the morning I take it down and have a full, voluminous and wavy look like I just came from the salon. AMAZING. They are also getting softer and more natural feeling the more I wash them. Kristina is a sweetheart. So knowledgeable and talented. Excellent price and superb customer service. I can't wait to get more! I started with a half head but def will do full next. Thanks Castello!!! read more

I have had my hair cut and colored by Antonella and Leandro for almost three years now. I will not go anywhere else. They both are very talented and they truly care about making their clients happy. I'm very picky about my hair due to past experiences with other salons and it has been such a relief knowing that I can trust that my hair will come out exactly like I want it when I go to Castello. In addition to the great services received (and the awesome espresso!), the salon is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Castello! read more

I was recommended to Castello by a friend, and I saw Mariele for my color and cut. For the first time, I didn't have to walk a stylist through what I wanted. She knew exactly what to do. The salon is beautiful, the staff is very welcoming, and I can't wait for my next appt in 7 weeks. Thanks Castello's! read more

When I moved to South Florida I was very worried about finding a hair stylist that I trusted, as I've had some very bad experiences in the past. I was so happy to find a new salon where I felt comfortable and could trust the staff. Antonella knows how picky I am with my hair and she always makes sure that I am completely happy with her work. She spends so much time making sure every section of my hair looks great and she won't stop until we are both satisfied. Sometimes, I think she cares more about my hair than I do. Antonella and Leandro take great pride in their work and they never cease to amaze me. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in the area. Best experience! read more

I asked for MY formula and was told NO. This is the orders of the Owner ... a true bottom feeder. Moderate talent at best. Do NOT go to this place for anything. read more

I had an appointment and they made me wait over 45 minutes, never even apologized. The manager was so rude, also a week prior when i scheduled the appointment the person on the phone was very short and rude. I would never advise anyone to go there. How you treat people is so important in the service industry. I can't believe I was treated so poorly. I don't care what kind of work you do, if I don't get treated with respect I will never go back. read more

Amazing customer service, they did my haircut just like I wanted to! Come and try out the place if you want.

So let me start out by saying that I started out as a client here in 2012 When I walked through the doors I was instantly taken by the charming yet regal decor. I was greeted warmly and put very much at ease a new salon is like going to a new school it can be a bit scary. I instantly felt the positive vibes and I was able to relax I was taken on a tour of the establishment and offered a cocktail and hors d'oeuvres. The staff was so friendly and welcoming I knew I had made the right choice to switch salons. Fast forward to 2014 and I happen to notice they were hiring I took the plunge. This energetic husband and wife duo are an unbeatable team they are warm and friendly and genuinely care about their many clients. Not to mention masters of their craft. The entire staff is absolutely amazing and creative genius's in their own right. I have never worked for such incredible, honest and caring people. It is an honor and a privilege to be part of such a great team. If your unhappy with your current salon and you want to make the switch don't hesitate, you won't look back I never did!....In closing their motto is "we treat you like royalty" but honestly I think it should be "we treat you like family"- read more

I had amazing color, cut, and extensions done at Castellos by Gisselle. She's been doing my hair for years and everytime I come out looking fierce and get a ton of compliments. I have been going to Castello Salon Spa ever since I moved in the area about a year ago. Everyone in the salon is super nice and very welcoming ! I get my nails done every two weeks by Juana (very relaxing pedicures too!). She does a great job and is very knowledgeable about the nail/skin industry!! She gives fabulous facials and has introduced me to Yonka Products which leave your skin feeling so fresh and rejuvenated. Next up will be highlights with Leandro. Its a happy environment with warm friendly staff and I always look forward to my next appointment. read more

Let me start by saying i never make reviews but i have never been so happy with my experience. let me start by saying the salon is beautiful and inviting. i was offered a mimosa and of corse i took one! I had my appointment with Sammy. I've been getting my hair done for years but I've never felt so comfortable with a stylist, which is important. I got a full head of hi lights and some long layers and I've been getting compliments since. I want to keep her all to my self but that wouldn't be fair! Go see Sammy at Castellos! read more

Very unprofessional business, the owner and his wife talk poorly of the clients but act friendly to their face. It is just the owner and his wife working as stylists there (which is why it is so expensive, not because of great quality but because of needing to make ends meet).. which i understand but, they have no other stylists because they all decide to leave because of how poorly they are treated. I've watch the owner and his wife demand the assistants what to do, I've watched them demand the receptionist to go shampoo and take the phone with her so she can do two jobs at once, because they are too good to shampoo their own clients... they always squeeze in people as much as possible and cause an inconvenience for clients to sit around and wait for them to have time. I heard the owner and his wife talk bad about numerous employees that have decided to leave that salon, you do not ever talk down on prior employees to your clients, how unprofessional. They talked bad about clients the second they walk out the door and as they watch them walk in. you can tell the owner and his wife think highly of themselves and i do no see why. they are rude and demanding to clients and continuously up their charges without a fair warning and do unwanted "add-ons" then make you pay for them. this salon is all about getting money and nothing about actual concern for their employees or clients. i've tried this place a few times but after what i witnessed at my last visit, i will never be returning. read more
