I cannot say enough good things about my experience. My colorist absolutely nailed my hair color. The tone is perfect, the dimension is beautiful, and the definition is exactly what I was hoping for. I highly recommend salon ny . I was getting ready to go on a cruise. 2 evenings before I left decided I wanted to cover my grays a little and bought a hair color from the store. (I have never colored my hair. I thought I'd give it a try) Not sure what happened, but I turned my hair purple. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called Sabrina immediately the following morning and even though she was wall to wall with people, she still had me come in and squeezed me in with another stylist.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sabrina is the only one who's ever done my hair in the salon, but I trust her immensely. In less than two hours. My hair was stripped and colored and toned and looked absolutely beautiful. I had a wonderful blowout. Love this salon, friendly staff and very clean. Liz is by far THE best when it comes to color and cut. She's been my go to for a few years now and the magic she does with her hands is incomparable. She was careful, knowledgeable and skilled. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She also seems to be a very good person.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Then TJ cut my hair for me. He is very personable and funny and skilled.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I am very happy with the results, care I was shown, and the personnel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Fanny did a very good job washing and conditioning my hair as well. My only issue is the fee. My friend that referred me to the salon said they were reasonable. It turns out that she pays much much less than I was charged. She is a regular, I am visiting. And my hair is longer. I would love for this to be my salon when I am in Florida but I don't know if I can afford it. I went for a blow out on tues 12/12 and it was $40 - today, 12/14 had the exact same blow out by the same person and she said it was $60 because she used her curling iron, which she used on Tues. I asked at the desk and the receptionist said the person who did my hair controls the price. I def feel I was scammed. Beware of this salon changing prices without your knowledge. Never to go back!!! 5 stars are not enough for this salon. This is a great place to get your hair done. It has a laid back, chill vibe where everyone is SUPER nice! It is not pretentious at all. There is coffee and water available. It is a full service salon. Fannie gave me the most relaxing hair wash with an amazing scalp massage. She is very friendly. Gwen is a great stylist. She did a thorough consultation and was able to take my vague "I want something edgier" and give me exactly what I wanted. The hair cut is perfect for my age and face. I got so many compliments on it. I returned today for hair color. I have never dyed my hair before. Gwen explained to me all the steps in detail and patiently answered all my questions.
