Called the store to make an appointment to get my hair cut and colored. And the gentleman who manages the store answered the phone. He was exceptionally rude and short with me. He read off the stylist hours and days. So fast and when I try to connect on a day and tell him when I would like to come in. He was impatient and told me to call back and then hung up on me. I called again a couple days later, pand still couldn't get him to make an appointment. If i didn't love my stylist so much I would never go back. Not the way to run a business and it makes me wonder how many customers he has driven off with his rudeness. read more

Got a hair cut today (June 17th 2024) by the only guy working. Around 3-4pm Idk if he just doesn't know how to cut hair or if he just didn't like me? Idk all I know is I went in for a trim and he screwed up my hair big time. This is by far the worst hair cut I ever got. It didn't look bad when I left but my hair was wet once it dried you could see how uneven it was. I even gave him a $10 tip. I'm going back tomorrow and somebody better fix this. I want someone else to fix this or free or I want my $24 plus $10 tip back and I'll go somewhere else but there's no excuse for this. I usually go to the Supercuts in Coral Springs but on this Sunday I was checking the store hours and was surprised to see that the Boynton location on Boynton and Congress opens at 9am. So instead of driving to Coral Springs I decided to try this location. I got there around 930am and it wasn't busy. I hate waiting to get a haircut. So this was perfect. The store was super clean as are all Supercuts locations. The employees are courteous and do a great job. With my haircut they give me a rinse off which is a great relief as you don't have to run around with hair all over your clothes. 5 star location with great hours specially for a Sunday. read more

First and last time I visit this location. I went there for a very simple haircut, I have straight hair, little volume and just needed to trim it. Inside the place had only one customer and two hairdressers standing looking at the window. As I entered one of them seemed upset and asked me questions about my dog, if she was a service dog, which she is and where would I put her while getting my service. After that she went inside to ask her manager who came to the front to deny my entrance because I have a service dog with me who by the way is less than 8 pounds. She said it was because of Covid 19 which still doesn't make sense to me. read more

Get there and the employees have an attitude, and they had no restroom available or ability to wash hair because of some type of leak. I have been going to this Supercuts for the past 7 years and I love it!!! The staff is excellent and they always make you feel welcomed when you walk in the door. I like to book on the Supercuts app and then the wait time is minimal. The salon is clean and the hot towel service is a high end touch. My stylist Jenny always gives me the best haircuts and I get many compliments on my hairstyle. DON'T GO TO THIS SUPERCUTS. We went there yesterday, March 18, 2019, to get my husband's hair ONLY trimmed. She not only DID NOT LISTEN but the stylist also used a trimmer instead of scissors to cut his hair, made it the shortest possible length, and trimmed EXTRA UNNECESSARY hair. After she finished using the machine, she told us that she never cuts mens hair, it was already TOO LATE to even change the hairstyle. His hair is a absolute mess. He was upset and angry on his way home because she couldn't even cut straight lines. Since yesterday, he's been wearing a hat to hide the hideous mess. Tomorrow, we have an appointment with another barber in a different establishment to fix the mess, she made. We will not be going back there EVER nor recommend it to anyone. read more

Made an appointment hours ago for Jenny at 3:30. She is the only person that hasn't messed up my hair here. But when I show up and check in, confirming that I am here for my 3:30 with Jenny (which their machine up front confirms I have), Jenny informs me I have no appointment and somebody else does. I inform her that I have the appointment and she realizes I knew she was lying and she tries to push me off on someone else (a woman who shaved my beard two times ago when I clearly told her not to do so). I told her I didn't want to do that and drove all the way here and nobody called to tell me that Jenny needed to reschedule. Instead of offering me apologies at the least, she tells me she can't do anything about it and I have to wait for someone who had no appointment. I walked out because that is ridiculous. On a previous year's trip to Boynton Beach, my husband got a haircut from this specific Super Cuts and he looked great. Although I usually get my haircut back home, I hadn't had it done in over a year since I was letting damage grow out. This trip I thought, why not both of us get our hair cut. Back to this Super Cuts. My husband got a trimming and looks well groomed. Jonathan, who did my hair, did a fabulous job! I explained the damage I had been growing out. He could feel the thinness of my hair and understood the best way to cut it. True, he had to convince me to trust him. But I knew that even if he was wrong, it's only hair and will grow back - it just takes time. Jonathan wasn't wrong. Once my hair dried, the old wave came back and my hair looks cute again. I did not have an appointment but the receptionist/hair cutter advised there was only 1 person that had made a reservation and if he/she came in, of course I would have to wait. there were only 2 employees on duty and both were speaking Spanish and the customers were also speaking Spanish; to be expected in S Florida. My complaint was they did not seem interested in cutting hair; only gossiping. I waiting over 40 minutes and the person who had confirmed an appointment did show up late and was taken before me of course. My complaint is the people that use to work their were very friendly and attentive; these two were smug and could care less about keeping me informed. I drove down the street to Great Clips and it was great! The took me in immediately and did a great job on my hair. I have been looking for a good place to get my hair cut for a while now. The last cut I had was in March, and I've been trying to grow it out ever since, and was still unhappy with it all these months later. I was out holiday shopping in Boynton Beach (where my mom lives, I am in North Broward) today. and I decided to check out this particular Supercuts on a whim, since they were not busy. I am SO glad I did! Penny gave me one of the best cuts I've ever had, and I am so thrilled with how my hair looks now! I feel like I went to a real, expensive salon to get my hair done, it is that good. She took the time to listen to what I wanted, and did exactly what I wished for. That is something I rarely experience at a chain like this! Even though there are Supercuts locations closer to home for me, I will be going back to see Penny next time, for sure! read more

I've had incredibly bad luck in getting the color/cut I wanted until I came to this particular Supercuts location and started working with Olga. Not only is she a delightful person, very warm and accommodating, but she does her absolute best to get me the results I want--and I'm REALLY finicky about cut and color, believe me. The last visit I walked out of there feeling, "Damn, I look really good!!!" Warning!!! Do not go here. The Asian woman who cut my hair chopped my hair up after I simply asked for a trim on the length. She literally just pulled sections of my hair out at a time and cut all the while telling me how busy she was. I was left with layers on the top part of my hair and no layers at the bottom. Basically a mushroom on top and long hair the rest of the way. It's going to take months to grow my hair back and a professional to fix it. At the end she told me that I now had an "updated" style. I've had long hair since 2010... it was very wavy, and heavy. Due to work and getting older, I've been keeping it pulled back in a bun and wanted to go shorter. In the distant past I've had some not-so-great haircuts in Coral Springs, so I was a bit apprehensive. I had been going to Michael at Supercuts in Sunshine Square at 504 E Woolbright to get trims on my long hair, so I decided to see if he could give me a decent short haircut. WOW!!! The haircut he gave me is highly professional. I am astounded at what he did! He told me I don't have wavy hair, it's curly. That surprised me. I asked him to leave a little length on top, so I could roll it, which he did. Michael then styled it and showed me how to do what he was doing. I felt like a million bucks when I left. The next morning, however, I had bedhead and so had to wash and style it. I'm not talented with a blow-dryer and round brush, like Michael. The way he cut the back of my hair is gorgeous and precise, so the curls fall naturally with no coaxing. I went back to see Michael and asked if he could cut the top to curl naturally, as he did the back and he said, "No problem." He did just that! Now all I have to do is wash and wear. No fuss and it looks absolutely adorable... fun and free! I get all kinds of complements on it and I don't have to do a thing. I feel like a new person and am deeply grateful. Today I got the worst hair cut ever! This lady didn't even understand that I wanted my hair to come to a point or V shape with layers. I told her this 3 times. We also agreed to cutting my hair to mid back. When she was done my hair was just brushing my shoulders! No point and no layer to the back. My "layers" in the front are so botched and uneven I can't even fix it. She couldn't even fix it when I went back inside and showed her it wasn't right. I complained to Supercuts.com but I don't know what to do now. I guess I am stuck waiting for it to grow out so I can fix it. Worst customer service I've ever encountered. My first reg flag should have been the guy walking out as I was walking in. He has a serious bowl cut all the way around that looked horrible. I walked in optimistic to get my hair cut and colored. Right off the bat the stylist was aggressive and would not listen to me. I tried to explain to her I wanted a cut and then wanted highlights. She just kept repeating herself and ignoring me. I really wanted to have a good experience, good price, and feel good about my hair, so I ignored her blunt, rude attitude. When I walked over to her station she continued to bark at me and tell me that "no, no, no" She again kept talking over me when I tried to explain to her the look I was going for. At that point I finally realized - "why would I ever want this woman cut my hair?" And then after everything she took my hair, pulled it in and pony and said "Okay, I'm just going to cut your hair straight across and then I will go back and shape everything." What?!?! I have never had anyone do that. I will never be entering that salon again and I feel strongly about sharing this review, because I think customer service is important and so is being professional and polite in a place of business.
