Had an absolutely divine experience here! My family and I have been going to the seafood buffet for years when we visit from New York, so glad to see it thriving again with a new name. Chele was our waitress and she was so attentive, kind and overall fabulous! The raw bar was so amazing with unlimited fresh oysters, shrimp and crab. There is a sushi station with poke bowls and the fish was so fresh!! The chefs at each station created special dishes that were out of this world. My family and I will be coming back!!

Should be named Cut and Run. Located in the Snow Park Lodge, this new addition to the Deer Valley high-end culinary scene missed the mark in several areas. It all started with the Vodka Martini that was ordered straight up with olives. Even implementing the archaic Utah law permitting no more than a 1 1/2 ounce pour, it tasted like it had more water than Vodka. After summoning the server back two more times to have the bartender fix the problem, even ordering a different brand of Vodka didn't work. The shishito peppers with black bean aioli was the only highlight in an evening filled with lowlights. The next course was the steakhouse wedge that had good flavor, but was swimming in a deep pool of dressing. The restaurant was far from capacity, yet we waited over 30 mins between the salads and entrees. During the delay, we were able to observe the food runners all come out at the same time in an effort to serve all entrees at once. That would typically be a nice touch, but after they served the table several would just stand around in the middle of the restaurant looking lost and confused about what to do next. Meanwhile, our server removed the soupy remains of the salads, but did not replace one of our forks and failed to bring a knife for one entree. In a restaurant that strives to be known as 5 star and high-end, that small touch is important to get right. The Coup De Grace was the salmon. The description offered by the server should have been a clue to the nightmare that we faced. A bone-in salmon cooked medium rare, said no one ever, until this evening. It arrived sitting in a pool of shimmering oil and had the appearance of a thick pork chop. The concerning appearance was exceeded by the undercooked oily fishy flavor. When we reported our dissatisfaction to the server, and that we would just split the decent chicken entree, he quickly returned to tell us the 'chef was insisting' that he give it another shot. Knowing it was unfixable, we declined. And finally then there are the ridiculously high prices for the entrees and wine. As just a few examples, the slimy salmon dish is $50, an 8 oz. filet is $98, and a 2017 bottle of Silver Oak (that retails for $125) was a stunningly marked up $440. Really ?? The manager did come to the table at the end of the debacle. We provided hopefully constructive feedback and he removed the inedible salmon and an additional 20% off the bill. Even with that, the remaining entree, appetizer, two salads, and the water flavored martinis set us back $170.

We have been in Utah for a week and this is the best food we have had the whole trip. Quality service, very attentive and kind. All of the food we ordered was phenomenal and I highly recommend!!

We started with the lobster and crab bisque, which was excellent. It was rich and flavorful, and what really stood out were the generous pieces of lobster and crab in the soup -- a great touch that made the dish feel indulgent and satisfying. The ahi tuna tartare was another highlight. The sear on the tuna was remarkable, giving it a beautiful texture while keeping the inside fresh and delicate. It was balanced, clean, and very enjoyable. For the main course, we shared the 16 oz ribeye, cooked perfectly medium rare just as ordered. The steak was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. We paired it with sautéed spinach, which was simple but very well prepared and complemented the steak nicely. Overall, the food, service, and execution were all solid. A great spot in Park City if you're looking for a classic steakhouse experience

They treat you like royalty. Your water is never below a certain level and they clean your utensils and change out new plates every time. My friend and I ordered so many courses and the timing they came out and how each dish was explained was truly incredible. Most importantly my friend was gluten free and the chef was able to make so many changes without compromising on flavor or experience. Every dish was divine but my favorites were the salad (so simple but incredible marriage of flavors) and the seafood sampler! Being from California I was shocked to find such good quality seafood but it happened! The trio of wild game was delicious but the only gripe is that we ordered the meat medium and one piece came out well done. However our server Nicole fixed that right away and brought us out a whole new cooked piece. Again, service is exceptional and this meal was worth every penny. Big shoutout to Nicole for being so amazing and great energy. We enjoyed this meal so much and cannot wait to come back whenever we are back in Utah next!

The service here was fine.. nothing noteworthy. We ordered cocktails, but did not care for them. The duck was unique, but it was a very small portion of meat. This meal is mostly bread and veggies in sauce with small pieces of duck (think pulled pork). The Cacio e Pepe was shockingly expensive and insulting for this pasta dish. For that price we were expecting a large dish with a wow factor, but it actually lacked flavor. For parents with children, I will also note that this is not a convenient place to come with small children. If you want to go to the restroom you need to leave the restaurant and go outside and across a hall to a more public restroom (it was clean), which is less than convenient with little kids. They don't have a kids menu either, it's just verbal, but they did have a few basic options (my kids had pasta).

But the service was awful! We walked in around 2 or so for lunch on a Monday. It was crowded. Several staff walked past us waiting at the counter for a seat and didn't say a peep to us. Finally a woman appeared and said she'd be with us shortly. She came back and when it asked if we could sit on the patio she told me it was closed because in the morning it had been cold. It was in the 70's at 2pm?! She sat us at a table next to a support beam and it felt very tight. Chairs were not very comfortable and the table was wobbly. It was very warm in the restaurant and very loud. We sat for 15-20 minute without a single person acknowledging us. I was about to get up and leave when finally a waitress came for our order. My husband enjoyed his Back 40 burger commenting on how juicy it was but expected more flavor. I ordered a Garden salad which was really good. Carrots were huge, tomatoes were yummy and like I said earlier the greens were so crisp and so fresh. My daughter had the chicken tenders and seriously the chicken was so tender and tasted fresh unlike grocery store chicken. The views are amazing!

The hamachi was so fresh, and the duck confit Caesar salad was fantastic! Given there were 8 of us, I can't say I remember everyone's orders but below is what my partner and I ordered to share: Pappardelle Yellowtail Carpaccio Crispy Duck Caesar Wagyu Strip Loin All of the food was cooked or prepared beautifully. My biggest complaint was portion size, as the dishes are pretty pricey. But hey, you're paying for quality, not quantity. The group split a handful of the desserts, and while I can't remember the names of what the table ordered, I do have photos below. I personally ordered the persimmon sorbet which I was a huge fan of. One final note - our group stayed LATE yapping. Like closed down the joint and not a single person tried to rush us out. I'm so appreciative of their kindness and willingness to let us finish out our evening when I know for sure we overstayed our welcome. I'm honestly surprised this place isn't hyped more on social media but I'd absolutely recommend if in the area. 8/8 of us agreed it was the best meal we had while in town.
