We bought our home in Austin and originally hired another flooring contractor to install brushed…read morewhite oak engineered hardwood throughout the house and on the stairs. Unfortunately, that experience was a disaster. The floors were never properly flattened, and the installation was a complete botch job. We found Julian online, and from the start he was professional, knowledgeable, and confident in how to fix the situation. He came by, explained how he could remove the damaged flooring and would install everything correctly, and gave us a reasonable timeline and rate. We decided to move forward with him, and we are so glad we did. Julian and his two crew members were outstanding. They were always on time, incredibly respectful of our home, and as clean and careful as possible throughout the project. Their professionalism and attention to detail really stood out. Julian also kept us updated throughout the process by sending photos and videos along the way, which gave us a lot of peace of mind and helped us see the progress being made. He also went above and beyond when we asked to add extra work to the job, including tiling our fireplace and removing a built-in bookshelf. Not only did they handle those tasks beautifully, but they patched the wall and ceiling so well that you would never even know the bookshelf had been there. Julian also installed the flooring on our stairs and made a few recommendations about the flooring pattern that ended up making a huge difference in the final look. His experience and eye for detail gave us a much better result than we even expected. What started as one of the most stressful parts of our homeownership experience ended as well as it possibly could have thanks to Julian. We only wish we had hired him from the beginning. We highly recommend Julian to anyone looking for a professional, skilled, and trustworthy flooring installer. Thank you, Julian, for making our vision come to life with such a beautiful and professional installation of our brushed white oak.

Having remodeled two homes…read morebefore, I can honestly say I've never worked with a company that handled a flooring project this well. We had them replace existing hardwood through out the entire home with luxury engineered hardwood. Their communication was exceptional, especially since I was living out of town during the remodel. They kept me informed every step of the way, and their professionalism, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and execution were second to none. Our hardwood floors turned out absolutely beautiful, and because of this experience, I've already hired them for additional projects. They're truly a dream to work with. To top it all off, their pricing was better than other companies we considered, yet the quality of their work was unmatched. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Soleil Floors to anyone looking for a company that genuinely takes pride in what they do.

Our rep didn't think through the job and asked the day of install about our baseboards then claimed it was a "client change" to the job. I didn't think of the baseboard situation as I don't do this for a living. There sales rep did not do enough due diligence guiding us through our vision. The wood floor itself is great and high quality but the rest was a nightmare. Don't have them do anything other than flooring - their light construction and painting is honestly incompetent and terrible. Lastly, new carpet for our family room. They upsold us a super plush pad then failed to write it up correctly. When I asked why the pad was not correct (after install) they acted like I'm a carpet pad expert and I ordered the blah blah blah 8 pound something or other. They were wrong, got it wrong, I opted not to PAY to fix it so I'll live with it, I guess. Overall, terrible experience but it could be the rep I got. Totally uncoordinated and a lack of communication for what we needed for this project. Very disappointed since we used Soleil as a referral from a friend.

So, it was ordered in the early AM well the next day nothing, the 2nd day nothing. Finally, the order came in and moved to the install location. Boxes were inspected and damaged items came from the warehouse. The warehouse just taped up the boxes and sent them out anyway with damaged product. To top that all off the Pflugerville office would only refund a complete box and not the individual planks (yes, the charged me for damaged product) As far as Cody Dorris, seemed like he would say (lie) anything to make the sale. Also, the order was not delivered 100% 18 days later still no answer form the warehouse as to the remaining order, nor will they refund the for the late product. NOTE make sure you order what you need and not over order, they do not refund the returns. This is not my go-to store, I found better service and product elsewhere.

They also worked fast and left everything very clean. For reference, they ripped up old carpet and placed new hardwood in 2 bedrooms and 1 master closet. It took a little time to get the closest match but Bob was nice enough to come out twice to drop off two different floor samples. However, I was craving a bit more communication on their end. Bob is very responsive to messages which I appreciate but this was a job at an unoccupied home (belonging to my parents) with a hidden key so I did want more updates (especially with my folks constantly asking me). I did not receive notification of job start or finish. I had to reach out to get that. I didn't find out that the job was completed until the following day. I received an immediate reply to my messages which is nice but like I said, I'd have preferred more proactive communication. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. Ultimately, a pleasant experience and we're all happy with the results.
