I had been wanting to try a local pizzeria, so I ordered the Meat Lover's for me and a Cheese pizza (with bacon, green peppers, pineapple) for the wife. Upon opening the boxes, I noticed the pies are much thicker than the major brand pizzas. A very good amount of toppings and sauce (which strangely seems to be lacking on the other brands' pizzas, here in Marion). Baked well, not overcooked at all. On picking up a slice to take a bite, it held its weight well. (Don't you hate when you go to bite into a slice, and all the toppings just slide off onto the plate, leaving you with a greasy piece of thin bread in your hand?) The test was in the flavor: very good. My only (little) complaint is that the overall flavor was a tad bland. Maybe the sauce needed a little more spiciness. Nothing that a little pepper or hot sauce couldn't fix. Wifey and I enjoyed our pizzas. We will order again, or maybe, if we are feeling frisky, drive and go dine in. Recommended.

The owner was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, offering to make any pizza we wanted fresh if the ones on the buffet were sketch, which was awesome. The salad bar was what one would expect, nothing to write home about. The pizza had a generous amount of mozzarella cheese and a nicely sauced cracker crust. The mozzarella had a great stretch on the fresh pizza, as you can see in the picture. Sooooo, on to the taste...you know how you can get frozen Imo's but it's not nearly the same in taste or quality to what's in the restaurant? (Not that I'm a fan of IMO's, but you get what I'm saying). Well, this was very much like if Jack's frozen pizza had a restaurant but with much better crust. Now, I happen to like Jack's Pizza, so I was a fan of Tower Pizza. That being said, I'd skip the buffet and order your own pie because the buffet pizza quality just wasn't there, at least not on a Monday afternoon. All-in-all, it's a great place to have a few beers and a good pizza, so if you're ever in or passing through Marion, Illinois, you should definitely check them out! Like this review?
