Stopped by here on our way out of Oregon just before they were closing. Staff is very friendly. Ordered a mocha which was good. We also ordered a turkey croissant that they didn't warm up. He just put it on a plate and handed it to us (-1 star). I wouldn't mind dropping by if I was ever in town again. read more

Case Coffee Roasters - Coffee Roasteries Near Me - Ashland, Oregon

GREAT coffee - slowest service in town. I got about every six months b/c I want their coffee (and their shop is cute and hip too) - but EVERYTIME its a VERY VERY slow wait while the coffee makers chat it up with whomever, don't help the folks in order (today they took a person sitting down order BEFORE mine even though I was next in line - that person should have got behind me and they ordered FOUR coffees.). The wait is unbearable - not worth the coffee. I don't feel special here. read more

So, if you are finding yourself in the Ashland Oregon area and are in need of a decent hot/ cup of java drink, and/or a pastry, then look no further than the Case Coffee Roasters. Nice place, located very close to the OSU. Ambiance is casual, music relaxing (not too loud), and furniture is distinctly 'Oregonian' (IE, well made wooden chairs, benches, & tables). I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they actually sell vegan donuts!!!!! (Note: very fresh & good tasting ... try the green tea option ... yum!). Having just arrived to the area, I've noticed that the service and attitude are both kind and helpful. read more

Me and my wife drove all the way from LA to Portland with bunch stops, one of the stops was in Ashland and we are so happy we found this place, one of our favorite 3d wave coffee shops EVER, we have been to a lot in Portland Eugene and bunch in northern Cali ... Well To be honest we liked absolutely every 3d wave coffee shop in All over Oregon Case coffee roasters being our favorite and a few shops in Portland being our second favorite! P.S chai with oat-milk is Devine here read more

Great little café on the south end of town. I came here a few times during my visit to Ashland and had a great experience every time. read more

Case Coffee Roasters - Best shot of espresso In Ashland - Coffee Roasteries Near Me - Ashland, Oregon

Great donuts, pastries and coffee, get a refill as well on drip and even americanos, etc. Staff is attentive and friendly, my only beef is the music is too loud often, especially at the downtown location. So that means i must be too old perhaps. read more

So glad I found you! Been on vacation for the pat week and had to endure bad coffee every day of the trip. The only sad part is we are only in town the one night so its a one night stand! Great coffee. Can't wait to try my peaberry beans when I get home. read more

Case serves the tastiest espresso drinks in town in an unpretentious and friendly style. The prices are slightly lower than other high end coffee shops in town. In fact, I believe they have the highest taste to price ratio in town - therefore I rate them as the best coffee shop in Ashland. Also, the food items always taste great. read more

I'm gonna go ahead and rate this for myself and another whom doesn't have a Yelp who mentions how much he loves the mochas from Case. Very rich tasting and so so smooth. I finally got to try this often mentioned shop was bummed at first about the 1 size then realized there's a reason because it's the perfect size for such a perfect mocha! Nice job Case! read more

Nice find for my quick morning coffee. Yes, you can see how they roast behinds the seats. Not a place to sit for long but they did a cool thing with this little place read more

Stopped to take a break on our road trip and found this small coffee shop. Simple menu but great quality drinks. Had the chai and it was great! Not too sweet or overly spiced. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely stop here again and try other items on the menu read more

Case Coffee Roasters - Chai - Coffee Roasteries Near Me - Ashland, Oregon

Come to Ashland regularly - this has been by far the best coffee I've had to date. These guys know what they're doing. Looks like they opened up a second location as well. Definitely worth trying. Check this place out. read more

Super friendly here, I really enjoyed their lavender latte. Calm and mellow space about 20 min from downtown Ashland and OSF and right next to the flagship inn if you're staying there! Nice and quiet but warm aesthetic inside for studying or mellow morning reading while people watching the road that runs through Ashland. read more

I was exceptionally unimpressed with the service. The woman at the front counter was chatting with a couple of guys around the side of said counter. She was very short with me and didn't offer much help. I was not informed when my coffee was ready and was forced to inquire after some time had passed. read more

Case has the best coffee in Ashland for sure. I love their store, it's always really inviting and comfortable and they have a lot of outlets which is great. It's right next to SOU so I go there throughout the day for coffee. I also have to say that the people who work there all seem to really genuinely care about customers and I've only had great interactions with all of them. After being a barista for a couple years, seeing people who actually care is awesome. I wish they closed at seven instead of five, because I always want coffee then. read more

Great coffee, tasty (vegan!) donuts, nice counter staff/barista. I'd bookmarked Case to try the next time I made it through Ashland and am so glad I got to stop here recently. Will definitely make this my main Ashland stop when I'm on my way through town. read more

Fantastic coffee shop in Ashland. The coffee is great, the atmosphere is great and the staff is great. Definitely recommend!

These guys make a pretty good soy latte. Unfortunately, their beans are way overpriced...and, honestly, just not that tasty. They recently started selling their whole beans in glass jars, which hold about 10.5 ounces...not the 12 or 16 ounces retail packaging normally holds. So, $15-$20 for 10.5 ounces of (average quality) whole beans? AND you pay $2 for the glass jar (which, admittedly, can be reused)? Damn. By all means, stop for a coffee. But, buy your beans elsewhere, unless you're buying them as a gift and you want a branded Case Coffee jar. read more

Road tripping to Portland and stopped here for some much needed coffee! Ordered a mocha, which was really good!! Not too sweet, just right. Also got a cinnamon swirl w/ cream cheese frosting (amazing!) and a blueberry muffin. It came out warm, which made it even more yummy. Definitely a place to check out!! read more

Best cup of coffee in Ashland! And without the lines and bad attitude of Noble. No need to go anywhere else.

Reviews don't lie..the people of Yelp have once again spoken the truth. Case Coffee is amazing on all levels; quality of coffee and edibles, service above and beyond! Glad my wife and I found this adorable place, located right on the main boulevard across from the front of Ashland's southern Oregon university. The latte was perfect on all levels and the biscuit was homemade and hearty (jam, too). The drink looked like the pictures which doesn't happen often. Anyways thumbs way up! Check out Case and enjoy ;) read more

Eric's cappuccinos are always exceptional - good coffee, good tools, good training, and good service. As usual he 'nailed' it today pulling their current Colombian espresso. read more

I work with engineers. In particular one who has to know everything about coffee, which I totally appreciate but failed to get elsewhere unless in our office until this week. Case Coffee does each cup to order. It is a delicious fine and RICH cup of coffee.. I will compare it to drinking my favorite microbrew to a budlight. I put budlight out in my yard to catch snails. If you prefer a lighter Americana type drip flavored, Eric or his staff can make that too. Check out the restaurant's awards from this past year on the wall. read more

Snall, modern and hip spot down by SOU, with the best coffee in Southern Oregon. While you can purchase their beans at Market of Choice, etc.to stock up at home, it's a treat to stop in their roaster for a pour over done to perfection and super knowledgeable team. I've enjoyed every blend, hands down all are fantastic! Thank you, Case. read more

Another great coffee house that roasts their beans on site for super fresh product--that they sell in reusable glass jars--very creative. The shop is directly across from SOU so there is a pretty constant flow of collegiate types coming through which is all good. Their coffee is not over-roasted, and they prepare their drinks carefully and artistically: microfoamed milk, ristretto pulls, individuallly assembled. The shop has great seating and decent parking, so it is all good here. read more

Case is probably one of my favorite places for coffee in Ashland. They have the most wonderful staff and it's nice to be around knowledgeable coffee people who are so kind and open about it! The shops are aesthetically pleasing. read more

Four stars is probably a lower bound for the true rating. I came twice in one day and ordered: a Brazilian pour-over, a cappuccino, a goat cheese baguette with a side salad. Everything was excellent. I especially liked the pour-over, which basically made my day! If I lived in town, I'd be a regular. read more

For a specialty coffee shop in the PNW, Case performs with strength. They feature all the best coffee-jargon features: medium roasting, single-origin, organic, etc. The end result is pretty tasty; I especially liked the Don Pepe from Costa Rica: light and sweet with an almost chicken-soupy heartiness. The barista was willing to talk coffee with us too. read more

Stopped in here on our way out of town. Cute little coffee joint, seem to really appreciate the craft but my mocha to go lacked a little depth. Open to giving this place another try, but next time I will savor in house and see if that cup is better than to go. read more

Glorious coffee. Great ambiance. Very nice baristas. Really enjoyed my experience here.

Great coffee, lattes & hot cocoa. Very kind staff. We love stopping in Ashland during our travels to visit family. We will be adding Case to our "must go" road trip stops! Oh, AND they have VEGAN DONUTS!!!! Yeah!!! read more

Nice people. Coffee mediocre. Pastries not very appetizing. Big arrow with "Tips" next to the screen where you sign - just tacky, esp. For those of us who aren't quite sure why we would tip you for the 45 seconds of your time it takes to make my $4 cup of coffee. read more

Great spot. Amazing coffee, really enjoyed watching the staff craft the coffee. Not just a regular cup, but a work of art. Coffee was amazing. Pastries were spectacular. Every time I go through Ashland, I'm stopping at this place. read more

Hands down best coffee, service, presentation and atmosphere in Ashland. They use organic milk, locally roasted coffee, and Case is the only place in town that individually grinds beans for your cup of house coffee. Always several choices of real gelato, and great panini's. A young couple owns and runs the shop, and are always super friendly. They're open until 6pm weekdays, and are located in a prime people watching spot on Siskiyou near 7-11. read more

Excelsior! Thanks for the lovely coffee, peaceful atmosphere and excellence in your craft. Yum!

One star for this hipster coffee bar. Baristas have a set way of making your drink the way they want, not the way you want. Worst coffee ever and returned it back to its creator. Should have stayed in my cozy car and went to Dutch Brothers. read more

A representative from Case came and visited one of our coffee club meetings. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of coffee Case has to offer. We were able to try 6 different beans from many different regions, a few including Kenya, Guatemala, Colombia and Ethiopia. I applaud the owners for maintaining a direct and close relationship with the farmers from which they receive their coffee beans from. The next week I visited case to try their house brew and it was just as fantastic as I remembered it the previous week. It's a young environment with very fun succulent decor. Go case coffee you rock! read more

great coffee - thanks (once again), yelp. definitely college-town-style coffee shop. which isn't bad. very bare (bare sheeting for the floor, etc.). not awesome (selection or quality) baked goods options, but yes, the coffee was great. read more

I arrived during the morning SOU student rush (probably before the first late morning class) and for a place that small (6 indoor tables, 2 counter seats), it was pretty tight. I was worried it'd be uncomfortable and noisy, but fifteen minutes later, it cleared out and stayed quiet for quite a while. Drink choices and food options were few but enough, and understandable given the small size of the establishment. Got myself a decaf and a locally baked apple turnover, both of which were pretty good, and sat myself down and took things in. The highlight of the decor is the white iPad on a chrome pivot with USB card reader that was used in place of a traditional cash register. I'm serious. It was elegant--very Jobsian--and saved them a lot of counter space, but it did stick out somewhat. The rest of the decor was decent but paled in comparison: modern and simple, white walls with framed artwork, black furniture with a small footprint. As expected the customers were predominantly college students; and I did feel a little out of place. After all, I wasn't wearing tight jeans. The servers were both very nice. There were no electrical outlets, (one on the ceiling for lights, but that doesn't count), and given the small size of the indoor space, that could very well have been on purpose. There were 7 more tables outdoors. While I don't plan on returning, it's no fault of theirs--not my type of crowd, and too small for my taste. A larger space would have netted them 5-stars, but still, they've done very well with what they've got. read more
