Overall It was a nice place. the energy upon the walk in was nice. They greet you with smiles. The studio is super clean and at the end of the session a nice surprise of a cool wet cloth is placed on each persons forehead. I would of given it more stars but the things that I would prefer from a Yoga studio would be 1. a silent space, both before and after class! 2. The studio rooms should be a technology free space. 3. a shoe free space 4. The instructor should be more mindful with their flows for all levels and a pace that doesn't feel rushed.. I have been visiting Casa Vinyasa for the last few months and started a monthly membership a month or so ago. The facility is perfect, the teachers are great, and the ownership is smart and involved. It is a great studio for beginners and those who are more advanced. I especially enjoy the Yin classes, the format and instructor(s). Two thumbs up. read more

I have been coming to Casa Vinyasa for a few months now. The studio is kept very clean and feels very calm and relaxing. The instructors I have had are all very nice and good. Parking is free with a nice, big lot which is amazing. And the cherry on top is these amazinggg chilled, lavender scented wash clothes they lay on your forehead at the end. AMAZINGGGG. HEAVEN. My complaint would be the lack of regular yoga classes. So, for those who have never been here, let me explain. This studio seems to specialize & focus on heated classes that follow a very different flow than I am used to. The classes labeled as "Power" are very fast paced and you are pretty much "speeding" through your poses, as opposed to traditional yoga where you hold and maintain each pose for a bit. It was VERY fast paced and after a bit I gave up trying to keep up with the instruction and just went at my own pace. I was not alone, lol. With the addition of the heat, it made for an experience that simply wasn't suited for my tastes. Unfortunately for me, the studio definitely seems to focus on these classes with only one "regular" Vinyasa flow class being offered per day - if even that - and if it's offered it's midday when I work. They also offer the much slower paced restorative type classes a couple of times a day, which also aren't a fit for me. I just want a regular, normal yoga class! *inserts tear face emoji* So. If you are looking to do extremely fast paced flows in 90 degrees, you will enjoy this. If you are more traditional in your practice, you may struggle to find your niche here. On a side note, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Melissa, who is a doll!! She was very sweet and energetic, and so receptive to feedback. I started going to Casa Vinyasa after my regular studio stopped offering morning classes, and my boyfriend and I quickly became regulars. Power Vinyasa is an incredible workout - I've done the 6 am and 7:30 am classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and it's a great way to start the day. The Power Vinyasa classes are challenging (would not recommend if you've never taken a yoga class before) but the atmosphere is very supportive, even if you're a beginner yogi like myself. I also LOVE that they give scented towels during shavasana - it's a really nice touch. Highly recommend this studio! read more

Mi casa es tu casa. Or at the very least that's how it feels at Casa Vinyasa. This has to be the most pristine, welcoming studio I've ever gone to. Seriously! And I've gone to several being a bit of a gym rat. I signed up for an 8 AM yoga class on a Sunday. I was quite close to canceling honestly as that morning I woke up like blah. I'm thrilled I didn't though. I tried out their Yogalete class with Martha. She's currently substituting for Stephanie. Have to say that she is so sweet. Calm, friendly, very accommodating to your injuries. I mean, I just finished physical therapy last month, so I've been trying to get back into the swing of things. Let me tell you that it isn't easy. Martha definitely was a huge help for me. The Yogalete class isn't heated, ditto with Restorative Flow, Yin Yoga, and Vinyasa Yoga. Anything labeled Power is. They heat the room 85-90 degrees F from what I read. Currently I'm a bit intimidated on doing some hot yoga, but with practice (as I know I'll be going back), I'm sure I'll manage just fine. The studio is on the fourth floor of a building. It surprisingly has not one but two (!!!) free parking lots, which is unheard of for the area. Also, they apparently have a 30 for $30 deal. Something of taking 30 classes for $30. I would totally do it if I didn't work so far away. Definitely check them out! read more

Casa Vinyasa feels like home and I always feel like family from the minute I walk through the door.

Lizzy guided the practice in a way that was calming and helped you focus on your practice. The temperature in the room is conducive to deeper movement. The lavender cold towel at the end is such a wonderful relief and is so relaxing. However I would recommend placing draft stoppers on the doors. If you are close to the door you feel the air conditioning seeping in from under the door. I look forward to returning tomorrow read more

Casa Vinyasa remains my favorite yoga studio in Miami and it has not been easy staying away amid Coronavirus. Thankfully, they are now offering ONLINE classes and lemme tell you, it was such a welcome treat to partake in one over the weekend in the comfort of my own home. While there are plenty of ways to get your fitness on during this time, there is something so comforting about returning to the practice I'm most used to with some of my favorite teachers. Classes are $10 for a single, or you can get a membership for $99. I noticed on Instagram that they are adding more classes as time goes on, so the membership could definitely be worth it (who knows how long we'll be in this position!). I'm very thankful for Casa Vinyasa for creating such a serene space at the studio and now in my home. We all need a little OM right about now. read more

I was lucky enough to attend a lovely Yelp Event at Casa Vinyasa last weekend and it seriously made my Saturday! I walked in feeling like an overworked little stress-ball and came out renewed -- exhaling positive vibes like the good wannabe-yogi I am! Seriously though, this class kicked my ass... Led by the vibrant owner/instructor Mellisa, I really felt the power of this movement/breath-work combo session. Not only was the movement intense but there is also a portion of the session with the infrared heating turned up. Melissa created a fun and engaging session for us and although I wouldn't say it was tailored for brand-spanking-new beginners (if you don't know the names of a few basic poses you'll be a bit lost) I did appreciate how great Mellissa was about making sure everyone was following along. They offer so many classes for different levels - so definitely check it the schedule and find the right class for you! The studio itself is very pretty and spacious. I loved the natural light brought in by all the windows - very calming. And the location is great with plenty of parking for all, so no stress there! You really feel welcome and cared for at Casa Vinyasa - the energy from everyone is so nice, and the thoughtful touches like, the "surprise" aromatic cool down towel will surely make Casa Vinyasa your new fav Yoga spot. read more

The studio is located in the 4th floor of a Commercial building. It is a little odd to get to, but there is free parking available for the building. The entrance area of the studio where you place your belongings in cubbies is a bit small, but the yoga room itself is wonderfully large. There are no mirrors, so that was a bummer, but I did appreciate the extra space to stretch out. We were instructed by the owner of the studio who did a good job of making the class enjoyable. The class I took was non-heated. While the cool towel over your forehead during final shavasana is usually a nice touch, the room was too cold for my liking and I had to take the towel off mid-shavasana. I recommend you ask the yogis to place palms down during shavasana if they wish to pass on the towel. read more

I couldn't think of a better yoga studio. Every girlfriend I refer becomes a member right after their first class. The instructors are excellent and they really pay attention to the little things that other studios do not. The energy in the room is always compelling. No narcissism, no competition, just a flow of connectives and peace. They taught me how to really breathe deeply again and most importantly challenge myself. There's no doubt that if you enter this class, you'll leave fulfilled. Oh and if you really want to work up a sweat try the Monday Night Vibes class. read more

The Flow class was challenging (especially for a 72 year old‍!) but I enjoyed it. I'm not a yoga expert but this class really was a game changer. It's peaceful and a really positive environment. I didn't feel dumb for falling over a few times and everyone was beyond kind. It was cool to see returning guests and everyone greeting each other by name. They have infrared heating technology, which other studios don't have, that makes the class feel like hot yoga but not in a gross way. I was literally dripping sweat but it didn't feel disgusting. My skin felt better and it was nice to know I was detoxing while getting a really great workout. At the end you get this cold towel that smells like lavender! It felt fantastic. I also enjoyed that it wasn't overly spiritual, so you could really concentrate on the workout and your body. Overall really enjoyed this and I'm definitely coming back. read more
