(Pre quarantine) I had been wanting to come here for ages ! You can't miss it right in the middle of wynwood. Loved the overall vibe. It was spotless. So clean and refreshing. They have separate locked locked. As soon as you walk in you are greeted. The class was wonderful. Only downside was that I had to pay for parking. Other places in Miami. I love everything about this place. The cleanliness, vibes, smells. The staff can be nice some days and not on others but they are overall pretty friendly. I love that they offer everything you need for yoga (for a few of course) and a free face towel for the extra sweat. The essential oil towels at the end of the class are top tier for me. My new home in Miami. Its been a long time coming to try and find a yoga studio at home vs by my job in Pompano (shout-out to yoga joint north!). Now that I'm working from home indefinitely, it was time to narrow down a studio I love in Miami. Sol does a great job with quarantine cleanliness, they placed X's on the floor marking 6 feet between yogis, and no more blocks, towels, or mats being provided. They ate also offering less classes per day to give time to sanitize in between each class. Thank you for all you do and the extra precautions you are taking during this time. They allow us to keep practicing what we love and instill (at least a little) a better sense of "normal". Might I suggest offsetting the X's rather than leaving them in straight lines facing the mirror- that way yogis can see themselves in the mirror and it also creates more space between each yoga mat. read more

I recently moved to Wynwood and I signed up for their weeklong free introductory classes before determining if I wanted to sign a commitment to purchase passes and/or monthly membership. Fantastic offer, I will acknowledge this. That gets them 1 star. Everything after this offer unfortunately didn't go very well. It was made clear to me to show up 15 minutes early as there are limited slots in each class to make for secure spacing (27 spots total in the room, so three rows of nine spaces). This sounds great as I don't like yoga when you're breathing on top of the person next to you. Following instructions, I was the first person to show up. No big deal. Eventually he class fills up. Class begins and we all enter childs pose for an extended duration, and after I arise there are about 32 people now in the class and this guy has wedged his mat on top of my mat, the person next to me, and the person in front of me. I think, "No big deal, maybe I can handle this," but as we enter downward dog his foot is not perfectly in my face and I say to him, "Dude wtf are you doing?" and I exit and give the two girls at the front my experience and how they should be more thorough into making sure situations like this don't occur and if this is policy, I'm not going to sign up for a membership where I'm doing yoga with feet in my face. Now, in thinking, "The studio is a perfect location and the room is great, maybe I could write to the general manager and situations like this wouldn't occur again, and I could get a membership." So I go to the website and email the general manager, Deanna, to discuss things. After spending quite a fair amount of time detailing everything above, I hit send.....annnnnnd immediately got an email bounceback that Deanna's email doesn't exist. This would be analogous to me writing the above for Yelp to then respond with, "Our company doesn't exist." For better or for worse, there are several places in Wynwood whereby their locatoin is phenomeal but the service is subpar, but given demand and locatoin you really don't need to go above and beyond with service given the lack of alternatives and proximity, and Sol Yoga is one of these types of companies. read more

Amazing ! Wonderful. Although I'm not used to hot yoga , I was able to survive my first hot yoga class. They placed me on a waitlist and then provided my spot . They also enforce mask wearing to their customers and the instructors which made me feel Safer and Made me feel good that I was contributing to a responsible company. The workout itself was great, rigorous , flexible, offered modifications . I have to learn to get used to hot yoga but I would definitely come back. They even offer a whole week for free ! I've taken a couple classes there and both instructors have been great, although they don't adjust much, which is one of my favorite parts about yoga. The studio has lockers where you can keep everything, they have mats, yoga mat towels, & hand towels available to rent. Your first visit they provide them for you (if you don't bring your own). I bring my own. One of my favorite parts about the classes & the studio is the cold eucalyptus washcloth they place on your forehead during savasana. It smells delicious and is very refreshing. They have two bathrooms with showers. Did I say the decorating is ah-mazing? Well the bathrooms don't disappoint either! They have soap, shampoo, conditioner on the shower walls. They also have mints and hair ties in the bathroom, which is fun. Their store has a variety of yogi gift options. read more

Nice yoga studio, they offer several classes in their hot room so expect to sweat! They have mats and towels available if you forget yours. Place is clean and nicely decorated. Lockers and waiting area outside the classroom isnot that spacious but people can wait in the reception area. Instructors guide you to every pose and correct if necessary. At the end of class they put a wet towel on your forehead which usually smells really good and freshens you up! Definitely going back for more classes! read more

Updating my review post (or during) Covid. Some of the studio protocols have changed, including bring your own mat policy, temperatures taken at the door, and masks worn all through practice until you exit the building. Showers not permitted. Teachers will not touch you, but give verbal instruction in the same nurturing way they did in the past. I feel very comfortable with the cleanliness of this studio and taking classes even during this difficult time. I never pay attention to what teacher I'm choosing as they are all excellent. I don't know what it is but I love this studio. Actually I do.. that is why I am reviewing it so, you guys know. The atmosphere.. very zen, calm. As soon as you walk in you are greeted and helped. (sign in, get your towel and continue about you way) The yoga... wonderful. Every instructor is completely different with their own little things they like to do. Some hand out crystals with an intention on it, some sing and some play the shruti box. It's all very magical. This is hot yoga specifically so, just be prepared to be soaked and feeling very loose after! This is all level yoga. If you're new it might be difficult at first to adjust but just take your time and you'll get used to the movements and adjusting to the heat. What I absolutely love about this studio is that they provide you with mats and if you get there early enough they are already set up! SO convenient. They also place a nicely drenched, cold, smelly good towel on your face at the end of every class and it just makes the whole class worth it. lol If you're in need of a studio check this one out! They also do your first week for free, unlimited and they are on Class Pass! I know its a little intimidating but just keep going and you'll adjust! Namaste! read more

Honestly had I reviewed this place a few years ago I would have given them five stars across the board. I had taken Classes at both the Wynwood and FTL studios and loved it. Most recently I took a Thursday noon class after a long hiatus and holy moly was I disappointed. Same gorgeous studio but completely different vibes. I was never consistent with taking yoga classes so I would consider myself a novice but I typically keep up pretty well. I decided to try to get back into yoga and thought well Sol was so great then let me give it a shot again. That particular day and time the instructor was Gina, boy was she quick to tell me my yoga mat was in her way and that they typically set it up in a specific formation but she definitely failed to help me on my form or give me alternatives to poses that were difficult or too advanced for me which was very off putting especially because when she first asked me to move she came off pretty condescending. That being said, I am so glad I didn't purchase a package as I was considering a membership. Such a shame cause the studio is adorable but what's the point if your team isn't welcoming towards all people. read more

Sorry to say I didn't enjoy my class. The prices are standard for miami. Although phones aren't allowed and this is posted everywhere, as soon as i stepped into the yoga studio, I saw someone scrolling on IG. The acoustics were not good and I could barely hear the teacher over the loud music. She was phoning it in, saying cliche things like "feel your body" , just seemed inauthentic. I could not hear her and had to keep looking up to see her demonstration because the cues were so quiet (no mic used). It causes breaks in concentration and breathing to have to constantly look to the center of the room. The facility was nicely decorated, showers available. At one point, someone working the front desk was operating a vacuum at the entry, and that loud noise also detracted from paying attention to the class. When all the studios charge the same here, I don't see any advantage to give this place another try. I am indifferent to the hot temperature in the room, didn't feel like it added much to my practice. I used to live super close so I could just walk, now I drive and finding parking is not always the easiest thing but I don't really care, it's an amazing studio!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. NEVER GOING BACK. I called at 8:30am to confirm if I could join the 9am class because I had tried to sign up online but never got any confirmation email or any email at all. Sol asked me for my name and asked me to call back at 8:50. I called back at 8:50 and Sol asked me for my name and last name (again!) I gave her my name and last name and she said I could join the class. (Mind you, we hung up the call at 8:53). I grabbed my yoga mat, sprinted downstairs to my car, drove to the place and parked, I walked into the studio at 9:04. Claudia and Sol were sitting in the front desk and asked me for my name for the third time this morning. I said my name again and Claudia tells me with a straight face that I can't join the class because apparently when I had signed up online I had been waitlisted, the class was full and I was late. I never received any communication about being waitlisted, that is exactly why I called at 8:30!! The only reason I was late was because Sol told me to wait and call at 8:50. I was ready since 8AM!! I am a mom of a 15 month old, I was up at 6am, I had no reason to wait to leave my house other than this woman telling me to wait and call her back. I hired a babysitter to come to this class, I haven't been to yoga in over 1 year because of covid and because of my new baby. I absolutely guarantee you I needed a yoga class more than anyone in that studio, my body needed this, my mind needed this, and because of their terrible communication, and horrendous business etiquette, instead, I am literally sitting in my car writing this review to get this negative energy out. You don't do that to someone. I never think about these things because I fully believe in the goodness of people but I am Black, and I wonder if that had anything to do in their class suddenly "being too full" once I arrived in the studio. These women sell yoga classes for a living, and that is not yoga. That was just plain rude and unprofessional. Yoga is a way of being. I would never want to receive even the slightest nasty energy these women put out into the world. There are plenty of other great studios in Miami. STAY AWAY!! read more

Feel HOT in here! You will sweat & need you're electrolyte drink close by. I really enjoyed the 75 minute sol flow class with Courtney as she clearly demonstrates & articulates how to get into new poses that are advanced levels. My entire body was already way too sweaty to get my knee over my shoulder. It just wasn't gonna stay put but now I can practice at home. I was so drenched I took a quick bird bath after class & dried off with the paper towels in the bathroom = ). Definitely bring a new set off clothes if you're not staying near by. This place doesn't have a ton of yelp reviews, but it obviously has a massive following! I popped in for noon class on Monday and the class was packed! The class: Mimi was the instructor, and it was clear that she has a great relationship with many of her students. Her instruction of my power class was awesome, but made even better with some sound bath techniques and singing. The cold towel at the end of the class was just the icing on the cake! Oh, and the room was HOT, just like it should be. The studio: the space was beautiful in a cool neighborhood. I used the shower facility afterwards, which was stocked with aesop products and super clean. The price: drop in classes are $25, but your first week is free. I would definitely be a regular if I lived here, and will be back when I'm next in Miami! read more

This is a really great yoga studio. I used to go to CorePower Yogas up north and this is really close to CPY. The infrared heat feels amazing during class. It allows for the room to be warm, but not stifling. All of the teachers are fabulous. Their sequences are intelligent and well thought out. The studio has a really cute boutique area to buy leggings, candles and fun little things. Definitely worth showing up early and checking everything out. They have lockers for you to lock up your stuff in which is super useful! You definitely need to register a head of time. Classes fill up pretty quickly. Sol is also on ClassPass which is super convenient!! read more

In all of my experience of Yoga, Sol Yoga is absolutely one of the BEST studios in Miami. Top 5 on my list. If you're nervous about starting Yoga and you really want to try a cool spot, this is it. I've been coming to sol on/off for years now and I love it! I hate that the parking is pay by phone but at least it leaves you right in front of the studio. This yoga studio is at the heart of Wynwood. My favorite instructor is Mimi, she is so nice and fun to talk to! Her classes are definitely more on the meditation side, but I love when she sings and has everyone singing with her! Due to covid everyone must wear a mask in class, and they are not giving out towels or mats at the moment. I love that the studio is pink, and every time I pass through their doors I am greeted with such warmth! The classes are killer, especially the power yoga! They also have special pricing for first timers and the pricing in general is great compared to other bougie exercise places (I believe the classes are $20, while in soul cycle they charge $30 for example). Sol yoga is like my second home. I actually look forward to going and do so as often as I can. It has really become one of the highlights of my day. The classes are amazing, the staff is awesome, and the facilities are the very best in Miami. The studio is heateds/infrared and I honestly can't get enough of it. Sol Yoga is a state-of-the-art hot yoga studio located in the heart of Wynwood! The studio itself is gorgeous and clean and still looks very new. The staff are all extremely friendly and take great pride in ensuring you have a good experience at the studio. They offer a wide variety of classes - meditative/reflective, pilates, core focused, flow, etc. - and most of the classes are accommodating of all levels. I've taken a few classes and each one was pretty packed, so definitely plan to get there on time. Let me preface this by saying, usually, I freaking hate yoga. I hate yoga studios, and all the phony nonsense. This place is not that. At all! The staff is truly encouraging and engaging here. The studio is beautiful. I took a flow class with Dan. The dude KNOWS HIS STUFF. The entire class was engaged. I showed up 5 mins late after driving 30 min in the rain to go to a yoga class with my friend who lives in the area, I arrived and they wouldn't let me in. I asked multiple times, and they said it's "unethical" to let me in after a class has started. WTH????? All I have to say is the customer service is unbelievable. So so rude. Have never fallen in love with a yoga studio in Miami in the 4 years I've lived here. As a yoga instructor myself, I think I can be a pit pickier. Anyways, from the beautiful facility that is so stunning and the studio room itself which facilitates such organic relaxation and focus to the staff which is so helpful and kind, there is nothing this studio doesn't do to create the perfect yoga experience. The amenities are also terrific. Great shower and restrooms. They provide free yoga mat rental as well. Took class with Marissa who was just lovely and will be back ASAP. read more

I came here for Dan as he taught a precious class at Space yoga and I am so glad I did. I really love his teaching style as he pushes you but reminds you of what you body can handle and you should honor that. Everything about this place is wonderful from the decor to the locker set up.
