Loree and her studio have been a mainstay oasis in the greater oasis of Coconut Grove for years. The perfect little studio to practice hard core or beginners mind. The natural vibe invites you to be your self in your practice with a genuine feeling that all who enter here are dedicated to the art of yoga. With each teacher there is her/his unique style to allow you to expand your practice mindfully, with adventurous spirit and calm resolve. Those who come here are community and you get a sense of kinship with fellow yogis - like old souls meeting once again. It feels like coming home whenever I come to this sanctuary of yoga and meditation. read more

Dharma is my absolute favorite yoga studio in Miami. I have been coming here for over 5 years and I have never been disappointed. They have incredible classes for all levels from hardcore yogis to beginners. The studio is small with a warm and inviting atmosphere. A staple in Coconut Grove, Dharma is the epitome of a community-minded small business. The teachers are amazing-- super knowledgeable, and friendly. The other students are very respectful. Every class I attend, I feel like I'm surrounded by friends (no judgment here!). In fact, I love taking friends who are new to yoga to the community class here on Friday nights. The proceeds benefit a different local charity every month, and afterwards, we usually get dinner together somewhere on Commodore. There is street parking here all along Commodore and Grand, which can get busy at certain times, but if you're a Grovite like me, there is bicycle parking right across from the studio. The cost of classes is average, and they run deals at different points throughout the year, which are amazing for returning students! Aside from their normal classes, they also run free community classes in Peacock Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays and a rooftop class at the Mayfair on Saturdays. Love, love, love this studio. read more

I'm based in Chicago, but attended the Virtual Event: Slow Flow Yoga with Tia and Dharma Yoga Studio. I don't do yoga often at all and usually find it difficult to follow along, but that wasn't the case with Tia! Easy to follow along. I stretched muscles I never stretched before (or even knew could be stretched)! And it was relaxing. I had a good experience! read more

Brandi's Himalayan Yoga Class on Friday's at 10:30, in one word: PROFOUND! This yoga class is unique, like no other yoga class you've ever been to unless you actually WERE doing yoga in the Himalayan mountains of India. Brandi brings her wisdom from India and the Sattva Center with her teacher, Anand. This type of yoga works on the energetic body and the intention is to expand one's consciousness and to go beyond the egoism mind. I've experienced transformational shifts in the class of deep healing and profound forgiveness. This is a class that you absolutely want to checkout and put in your weekly calendar, as I do! read more

Dharma Yoga Studio - Dharma Yoga ‍ Himalayan Yoginis - Yoga Near Me

Great, clean neighborhood yoga studio. Arrive early for parking! Dharma is your go-to neighborhood yoga studio. The place is warm and quaint; never ever stuffy. This is a small studio and that adds to it's charm. The place is always clean (that's tough considering how warm & icky it can get in a yoga class). The water cooler is always full and there is plenty of coconut water for purchase - no reason to be dehydrated! The staff is always willing to help and the instructors are all fantastic. My personal favorite is Cat's Yogathleta classes on T+Th+Sat. Cat hooked me from day one with her combination of yoga and strength routine. There is also a small boutique with all of your essentials including yoga mats + towels, clothes, mat sprays, incense and essential oils. There are a few DVD's of your favorite instructors for purchase as well. My only annoyance is parking. With a new restaurant right next door and them taking over 4 spaces for valet, parking is scarce. Give yourself at least 20 minutes before class begins for parking and checking in, paying, settling in, etc. read more

Dharma Yoga Studio - Ha! - Yoga Near Me

Dharma is an absolutely wonderful studio! I mainly attend the Friday evening community class which is one of the best kept secrets in the Miami yoga world. The class is maintained by suggested donation of $10. A couple times I have even had a private lesson! Pricing otherwise is pretty much standard for Miami yoga. They have an interesting selection of Yoga classes and many that other studios in the area don't offer. The studio offers lots of props and some teachers use more of these props than I am used to. The classes here are a bit more relaxation, however, I have mostly attended Vinyasa classes. I have not yet tried some of the more athletic and vigorous classes. Parking can be an issue because it is Coconut Grove, but I don't drive so it's not a problem for me! Try a class at Dharma. It will be worth your while. read more

Yoga has changed my life, and Dharma Yoga Studio has been an instrumental part of this positive change. Natalie's Funyasa class takes you beyond what you knew about Vinyasa and brings your practice to an intensity that you slowly build up to feeling as your strength and capabilities increase with each class. It is a one room studio but I feel like that suits their style perfectly vs a spot with multiple studios, because at Dharma you become a part of this yoga family. Vanessa's AM classes are always exactly what I need to start the day off right, Benjamin's Sunday class is it's own special blend of body-mind-spirit connection. All the instructors here have something special to offer and I am so blessed to have been able to attend their classes. read more

An amazing place to share, explore and revitalize. Every one you encounter is joyful, concerned and peaceful. If you're interested in trying out yoga for the first time or are a long term practitioner there is something for every one. read more

I've lived in Miami for 30 years now and have practiced yoga on and off for many of those years, even becoming a yoga teacher over 15 years ago. If you've practiced yoga before, you know how important it is to find the right teacher in the right space and for me, that's Dharma Yoga Studio in Coconut Grove. I find the teachers knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The space is the perfect size, not too big, not too small, just right to house a group of like minded people looking to find solace and heal. There's plenty of parking but arrive early for your first visit so you can become acquainted with the area. I don't take reviewing businesses lightly and that's why Dharma get's high marks from me and those that attend. Dharma's special. It's Sanctuary... read more

This review is primarily for the Prenatal Yoga classes taught by Vanessa as I haven't tried any of the other classes yet, although I live in the grove and a few of my neighbors frequent the studio. I've been recommended a couple other instructors to try when I get a chance. There are two prenatal "mamaste" classes a week and I wish there were more as I can't always come, but when I do, I always feel better afterwards. Vanessa is very kind, non-judgmental, and pushes you just enough but not too much, always checks in with everyone at the beginning of class to see how we're feeling, how many weeks, and offers gentle suggestions for common complaints (i.e. backache, hip pain, etc.). Class is fun, people are friendly and something about the flow of class makes me feel more energized and relaxed throughout the day, as though I'd taken a refreshing nap after I leave. Sadly it's in the middle of the day, so I am often in other appointments, but I do as many classes as I can. There's definitely a shortage of prenatal yoga in Miami, but I'm glad this one is here. About the studio: It's small, but cozy, clean, inviting, close to home and I look forward to exploring more classes here in the future. Vanessa does post-natal "baby and me" as well and I hear Anusara rocks! read more

I started practicing yoga with Natalie and her Funyasa classes many years ago and I instantly became a fan. I think it was about two years ago that she opened Dharma Yoga, and I knew that I would not prefer to practice anywhere else. I knew that under Natalie's guidance, Dharma would have a staff of well-trained professional teachers who are very knowledgeable on all that encompasses yoga. And that they are. The studio is very light, and cozy. There is one large room to practice in, and the floor is a light-colored wood. Windows line one of the walls of the practice room, and there is a small garden lining the outside of the windows. There is original art hanging on the walls. Dharma offers regular workshops that incorporate yoga, music, and art. I regularly practiced yoga for eight years and taught for one. Dharma gets my recommendation for yoga in Miami. read more

Never tried yoga before Lady in the front (name escapes me) was really nice and welcoming Overall the studio is nice, the yogis that go there are nice, instructors are nice read more

There's just no place like it. It's beautiful inside and out, just like the people there. Miami is lucky to have this yoga studio in the heart of Coconut Grove. read more

Great studio, teachers, fellow students and vibe! I go regularly on Tuesdays and Thursdays and always feel as if I'm among friends. This studio is a sacred space for me. read more

This is a very nice studio, but probably best for either beginners or practitioners who prefer a mellow pace and tone. On the plus side, they host excellent speakers and have a welcoming, non-judgmental attitude, in contrast to some other Miami yoga studios that are surprisingly snobby. read more

Best studio ever. Laid back atmosphere with classes to accommodate a wide range of abilities. Free classes for seniors at certain times. A very community-minded and generous studio. Natalie's Funyasa and Allain's Yoga for Alignment are highlights. Namaste. read more

This is a real yoga studio! The staff and teachers are just amazing love this studio so much!

So happy that this yoga studio is in Coconut Grove! They provide a great experience from the moment you walk in. There are so many different classes to take, they even hold community classes in the park near by for anyone to attend. Each staff member and instructor takes pride in their work. You can tell that they have worked hard to create an atmosphere in the studio that is based on a platform of positive vibes and happiness. Wow! Can't say enough about this place! It's a happy place! read more

One of the best reasons to go to the Grove. In a city where there are so many snooty health spots, it's nice to go somewhere where you feel like home. Natalie, one of the owners, is the best...remembers your name, keeps class light and welcomes you. The other instructors, in my experience are good as well. The studio has really grown in the last few years and offers a good variety. Worth a try! read more

I went to an evening class with Natalie Morales. I could tell she felt comfortable teaching, it came naturally to her. Her voice was soothing, the sequence flowed, the poses made sense...we moved into a state of intensity without knowing we were going there and then melted into a deep relaxation. The studio itself is tasteful. the room is a nice size and the mood is just right. I admired the paintings and apparel. I like the location, coconut grove is my favorite, except it was hard to find parking and I got lost for a while going down oneway roads. read more

Absolutely as good as it gets! Highly motivating and energetic group of teachers. Works for me!

This place is very special. Go to their webpage and check out all the different yoga classes they offer. The Anusara yoga class is very good. It incorporates spirituality into yoga poses. Be prepared, however, cuz it is not easy. Physical strength is definitely put to the test but after the class is over you will feel good and stretched. Yoga teachers are super friendly and prices are very reasonable. read more

I attended the Saturday morning Yoga for Alignment w/Allaine. The studio is small, intimate & extremely welcoming which is a bit refreshing/traditional compared to the popularized franchise approach. The class required the use of props and focused on form. It was extremely relaxing & the instructor was attentive to all of her students. It was truly a beautiful class that gave me the chance to work out some kinks and pay attention to my body from the inside out and really let go of my ego and need to perform. I would definitely come again and try out some of the other classes. read more

The location is great. Parking is easy. Teachers are phenomenal. Even in the large classes you get a level of personalization that you don't find in every yoga studio. Nothing like climate control to make the Florida heat bearable too. There is a lot going on here so check out the website for schedules and special events. The sacred music/yoga classes are unforgettable and priceless. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. read more

Love this groovy yoga studio in the heart of Coconut Grove. Saturday morning's class with Cat Haayen has awesome energy and is a great workout. It is two blocks from the Glaser Farmers Raw Food Market, my favorite weekend ritual - yoga and raw food lunch. read more

The best! Many different instructors, many different styles. I had painful sciatica. Someone suggested I try Allaine's classes and the body aligning seated yoga classes before going to an orthopod. It worked. Both instructors gave me poses and exercises for my specific problem. Within six weeks I was truly pain-free. The owners, Natalie and Loree, run a wonderful, fun studio. They care about all their students and their instructors are also very well-trained and caring. They have classes for students at all different levels. I have renewed my membership three times. You can also purchase single classes at a fair price. read more

I just took the best stretch yoga class ever! I went in between my regular physical therapy appointments at a clinic I use because my arthritis was bothering me and my sciatica and hips were sore. Most of us in the class were "seniors." The instructor, Vanessa, had us do gentle yoga moves for an hour fifteen minutes. For a few of the positions we used a chair as a prop but it definitely was not "chair yoga." I walked out of there feeling less stiff and sore than I have in months. I am truly astounded and grateful. They teach many classes at this yoga studio but this particular one is called, "Slow Gentle Flow." All the other students I talked to felt the same way I do. Is it possible to change one's life with one stretch class? ....to be continued. read more

the best! Super community oriented! love it! Natalie the owner is a mega teacher and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this beautiful place. read more

i love this place!!! finally, a real yoga studio in coconut grove! i just found them by accident last week on my lunch break. i went in and everyone was so friendly i didn't want to go back to the office. i can't believe i don't have to drive to another neighborhood for yoga anymore! i'm a little sore, since i went to class almost every day this week, but i'm hooked! all the classes i've done so far were great, they told me they only hire teachers with esperience- they've got lots of different styles, and i can't wait to try them all. thank you so much, this is going to make a big difference for me in my life! read more
