    Michelada

Well you can order a Michelada here, but you won't pay more! 15$ later (before tip) and it's not that its bad, just hard to justify paying more than anything else on the ENTIRE DRINK MENU for a beer and some tomato juice. Your up to date in my Michelada quest, I must keep looking as this isn't the spot.

Chicken Fajitas de Pollo delivery- mostly onions and peppers

Gave this place one more try with a delivery order and was still disappointed. Chips and salsa...the salsa tasted like someone dumped a cup of water in it. So much so, it lacked any flavor. Chicken fajitas...the chicken was dry and charred to the point it was nearly inedible. Also tasted kind of like BBQ sauce which was weird? There wasn't much chicken in the order itself. It was mostly onions and peppers. Pollo a la crema didn't seem to have much crema it was so thick. While I didn't try it, the bf said it was extremely salty. For the price, it's extremely underwhelming.

Pretty big servings! It was super flavorful and had me way beyond full by the end of the night. My only wish was to have more of the rice. Waiters were incredibly nice and always checked up on our table. The real star was the Mariachi though! It really added to the vibe of the place, they are such talented musicians and artists. It was really nice to see my first mariachi performance live here. Come here for a good time, but if you're looking to have deep convos with you friends, you're gonna have a hard time talking over the music. Loved that the restaurant erupted into a dance floor at the end. Was such a beautiful night.

    Enchiladas poblanos

Huge portions, excellent ambiance and actually good mexican food. Ditch the food truck down the street this place has FAR better food, salsa and service. Awesome spot!! Try the pozole... it's so flavorful! The enchiladas poblanos was really good too.

    Ground Beef Nachos

Outstanding food, very good, I had chips and salsa, then ordered the Ground Beef Nachos. Very tasty, sample plate size. Wife got the steak fajitas, she talked with the chef, she thought the steak was bad, I tasted it, we asked the chef to taste it. He said it was fine but she just didn't care for it, they happily and insisted she could order anything else. She got the enchiladas, 1 chicken, beef and cheese. All were AWESOME! Would recommend this and would most certainly return. Great food!!!! Service was fair, bless her heart, it wasn't what job was, normally the cleaner... she stepped up and became our server, kind, friendly but being a server definitely was not her job. But very attentive when she could. Just not used to serving so things were a bit slow. But they were professional, kind and polite. The setting was clean, nice music, in the background, chairs and booth seating were comfortable and clean, bathroom was well kept and clean as well, nice full bar with seating... Nice place to stop in.

I was visiting the area for work and decided to stop in for a meal with my co-workers. We were seated immediately and placed our orders. Two of us ordered steak Fajitas and my other co-worker ordered a Cuban Sandwich. My co-worker liked his sandwich. My Fajitas were edible. The guacamole looked like it had been sitting out for a while. The steak was tender, but it tasted like it was slathered with some type of tomato sauce which gave it a weird flavor. Overall, I thought my food was okay. Not sure if another menu item would have been a better selection for me. 3 Stars

    Quesadilla

My gf and I went to Casa Patrón on a Monday evening where it was surprisingly moderately busy. I ordered the Asada Burrito, and my gf got the Asada Quesadilla. We ordered a side of guacamole with the free chips that neither of us regretted. Honestly, the food was great. It was about what I expected; no frills but reliable, Mexican food. The tomatillo sauce was tasty and complimented the asada well. The vibe of the restaurant itself is nice cause depending on who you go with, it can be a family like restaurant, or a bar-like hangout with a group of friends. My only issue is how understaffed it is. There were maybe 8 other tables consisting of 2-6 people each, and they only had 1 server and a bartender who was part time serving. As a result, it took 10 minutes for the server to approach us. My girlfriend and I had to ask our server three times for 2 glasses of water because he was getting pulled in every direction by other tables. We finally got our water once I was about 50% done with my burrito. It's clear the restaurant could use more staff but otherwise a pretty solid Mexican restaurant experience in the Roosevelt/Green lake area. I will likely be coming back!

    Chile Colorado, Guacamole, and Taquitos

Solid. Not Special. Not bad. It was fine. Service was prompt, kind, and attentive. Chips are store bought and salsa is a little bland, but its free and lands right away when you sit down. Guac was well executed and fresh. Chile Colorado was tender, but sauce had a canned flavor. No heat at all. Taquito was delicious, crispy. Price was reasonable. I think this is a good happy hour choice when you are hungry and want a filling Americanized Mexican experience. If you are hoping for something special and memorable keep looking.

The chips and salsa. OMG!!! I love these! Beware the salsa has some heat :)

I swear the door handle is a portkey, because the instant you go through that door, you're instantaneously transported to another place, one where everything feels more relaxed, several tens of bottles of various tequila distills appear on display on the wall, latin fills the air, and even the light changes! The staff is friendly and funny, especially the guys. When the establishment isn't jam-packed, they may even stop by your table and regale you with their wit, and their inexhaustible collection of jokes, that they occasionally may tell you together! The cocktails are great, and if you really want to go on an agave adventure, they will give you a tour of their tequila wall, from the inexpensive silver shooters to the sipping añejos. The chips and salsa are fantastic and soooooo hard to resist! The food is a-OK, but the whole experience is so pleasant that I never mind. This place has quickly become a favorite for me and my friends, and just writing about it, and thinking about how much fun I have here, I wanna go back again!

We came on the earlier side and ended up waiting around 20 minutes before ordering. I got the dover and fries, and this was probably one of the best fish and chips dishes I have ever had! The fish was super duper thin and coated generously, and then topped with some seasoning mix that was so flavorful. The fries / potatoes were also insanely crispy and flavorful - the skins were the best part. I also really liked the tarter sauce that it came with! I can still remember how it all tastes. We tried the smoked salmon dip with chips, the fried chicken sandwich and the the black cod kasusuke. The crab rolls were sold out by the time we got there or we definitely would have tried those. The salmon dip was good, lots of dill, and the chips were crispy. The fried fish sandwich was light, which was nice for something fried, and the roll it was on was soft and warm. The black cod kasusuke was my favorite dish of the meal. The black cod was tender and fell apart, and it was seasoned so nice. It came with a spinach salad and rice which was also delicious. If I could give half stars, this would be pushing a 4.5. Nothing blew me away, but everything was fresh and enjoyable!

The service was friendly, attentive, and surprisingly quick. The restaurant was completely full on a weekday at 7 PM, which says a lot about how popular it is, yet the staff still kept everything running smoothly. The staff, on a busy summer evening, seemed personally offended that we were there. The host sat us at a wet table, when I asked if they could dry it, the drying process came with an attitude. I specifically noticed that the host was busy, and wanting to be overly gracious, I thanked them for returning to dry the table three times, and was ignored - no "You're welcome" or "No worries" or anything, just dry the table with an attitude and rush off. Drinks, also delivered by the host, were dropped off with an attitude at the end of the table - "Here you go," as they sat them down - not asking which one of you had this or that - just "Here you go" and then away. The server, at first also seemed a little rude, no pleasantries - just "What can I get you." No "Hello, welcome in" The server got better with time. We appreciated the character arc. The food was fine. Our appetizer arrived after our entrées, which was a choice. (It was olives. We're still not sure what they needed more time to do.) No one checked on our drinks or asked how everything was tasting, so we'll never know if they cared.

It is somewhat difficult to get a reservation, because the space here is very small and packed with tables. The one downside is that it is a little tight and can be difficult to hear. But I'll take that for the opportunity to eat here. And as long as you go in with the mindset that you might drop some serious coin on the meal, you're gonna have a phenomenal time. Because we were so close to our dining neighbors, I was actually able to ask them what they were eating since it looked so good. And that's how we ended up with some mind blowing fritters. A perfect appetizer to start the night. They have a great selection of wines that are actually reasonably priced to buy by the bottle. I'm pretty sure I saw someone taking one home that they drank a few bottles out of also, which is a first. I was impressed by the creativity of the dishes as well. I'm not one to be impressed by cabbage, or ever order it, but the charred cabbage looked enticing. The cheese on the bottom, seasoning, and dates transformed this ordinary vegetable into a star. And of course you gotta see what they're doing with the seasonal veggies. I can't seem to ever cook squash the right way, but they crafted it into the ideal consistency where it was almost meaty. That New York Strip was out of this world though... the garlic sauce that accompanied it was just enough of a flavor enhancer that it didn't take away from a steak that was cooked to the ideal temp. The depth of flavor and uniqueness of each dish was incredible. Cocktails: I got the Carajillo Frosty. This was WAY too strong to where I could hardly taste anything but the alcohol. It sounded like a fun drink, but I was tipsy before our first dish arrived and I didn't even finish the drink. Oyster Shooters- Cool concept, not great execution. If we are adding fun things like Mezcal and Jalapeno vinegar I was thinking something magical would happen in my mouth. Instead, my tastebuds were seared and my stomach was questioning if it would keep everything down. This is a hard pass. Oysters: They go from sweetest to most briny on the menu. So we got top two sweetest, followed by two in the middle and the last two. It was fun because we were really able to tell a difference in taste this way. I found out Im a sweeter oyster gal while my husband enjoyed the brinier one. With our oysters we got a glass of the NV Azimut Cava Brut Nature-excellent with all of the oysters! We will get this glass again. Next, clams. This is a MUST GET! The broth was outstanding and a different vibe from your typical "clams in white wine broth". Next, Pork Belly. I usually love Pork Belly, and this was mentioned as a must try a lot in the reviews, so that's why we got it. But the Pork Belly is definitely Pork Belly-ing here. Super rich (normal), and the accompanying flavors were strong and also fatty. It was a little heavy for us on this night. Great option if you don't like seafood, but if you do, go for the Halibut instead. We had a couple next to us who got the Halibut and I could smell that we missed out on that dish. So I would highly recommend you get the Halibut (even though we never tried it. I can just tell it's amazing). Dessert was Spiced Chocolate Pot De Creme. Again, fantastic! I honestly wasn't expecting this to be so good but the chef hit it out of the park. Really this review is more so I can remember what I got and liked/didn't like and can order the winners again. The server also gave us 1 menu and stated " it was their only one", which what? Really? Anyway, we decided not to make it a big deal, and made the best of it, but we were disappointed to see that the menu is very limited, and overly priced. The servers acted like they didn't want to be at work, we even observed a customer adding a last minute order when she received her check, watched the server make a face and then walk away, under her breath making eye contact with another coworker and said " Oh my God!". We were astonished to see the lack of professionalism of this establishment. They also charge for additional condiments, $4/ 1/2 oz of ketchup. Apparently there is a mandatory 22% gratuity charge with your bill, so maybe that is why the service is mediocre to poor, as they don't care about their attitude, they know they're getting a tip anyway. I like the decor and it really has a Seattle vibe. There are a lot of window booths which I like…read more Parking can be a bit spotty as the lot is small. I had calamari and Salmon blue cheese Caesar salad. The salad with the blueberries and pecans tasted really good together. The service was definitely excellent too.
