Tuesdays are the day to go. They have 31.95 Rodizio. Great price. All the meat you can eat and they will come back again. What they didn't have was the grilled pineapple. They said it usually goes to waste to so they didn't set it up. They all have a Rodizio special for lunch. The sea bass was not great according to my companion. It was a frozen fillet. Didn't taste fresh. The Rodizio on Tuesday is their best offer. It wasn't packed so you could hold a conversation.

I don't know how to describe my experience since I don't consider it bad or good. Food was good, just they forgot to give us something was on the menu. And the restaurant wasn't busy, very clean the restaurant. But was something else missing like that Brazilian vibe.

We went to Casa Nova on Sunday around 4-5, ordered delicious caipirinhas, enjoyed live music with great vibes, and met new friends.

Ended up in Jersey & wanted to take my uncle out for dinner nearby the port he was docked at! Our usual seafood place closed early so I yelp'd a bunch of rodizio places nearby & decided to try this one out! I called & made a reservation ahead of time just in case! Street parking isn't too hard to find! We came a bit early & the restaurant was all to ourselves wooo! The ambiance is decorated old school -- place is spacious & the service itself was good! The meats kept coming out (I wish it was a bit slower so you can thoroughly enjoy your meal but I appreciated the different options we had to choose from), the sides came on a tower (this is new but I loved it so you don't have to get up continuously to go to a salad buffet) & the chips to start with were delish! It was still happy hour (surprised Caipirinha's weren't on the happy hour menu) but we decided to get a bottle of wine that was recommended instead! The wine was dry .. just what we wanted! We ended the meal off with some coffee & were all happily in food coma! (Btw they have grilled pineapple - they didn't bring it out until I asked but that had to be my fav part!!!) Will definitely be back again - want to try out the sangria & next time I know to come hungry heeheee

Found parking across the street in the Bank parking lot. Came here with high expectations but I was disappointed. We were sited right away and ordered Sangria, which was really good. We ordered an appetizer of toscino with fried yucca and our entrees were the rodizio and a feijoada. The food and Sangria are really the only reason I gave them a two star. Our waitress was busy only attending to one particular table so that means all her other tables suffered. Never checked on us , if she would have she would know I never received my dinner. Finally when she got away from the other table my husband was able to get her attention to let her know i never received my food. Even though she apologized my husband that got rodizio might of been on his 5 round of meat, by the way the gentleman passing out the meat was very attentive. At this point why would I want my dinner, almost an hour after my husband got his food!!!! When we got the bill we were furious to see that she had the audacity to charge us for 2 rodizio's !! Be warned the 20% tip is automatically added on as well our total for 2 people and really one dinner was $185!!!!! I started to try to get her attention again to complain about the bill but I was not going to get myself even more upset. Be warned if you want good service don't come here. Pretty sad because the food was pretty good.

The food was ok. Nothing to really write home about. I had garlic shrimp that arrived to my table cold and tasted like they were microwaved the service was ok . Nothing special most of the waitstaff found it hard to understand us and vice versa. The restaurant is in a really busy area with MANY of the same type of restaurants Parking is a bit tough if there are no spots in the lot across the street.

As of 04/2022 -Service: have been here 3 times and it seems Service varies in speed depending on season and where you sit. Rodizio service can be slower outside. -Food: -rodizio sides: fried hand cut potto chips (crispy and food), green salad (light, fresh), potato or chicken salad (too much mayonnaise), rice and black beans (very good), fried yucca and fried banana (good). -rodizio: very good. $42 on weekends (starting Friday evening). Although it can be a bit salty, we love the lamb. I like that they bring by well-done pieces of the different meats when asked. -grilled pineapple: love the pineapple after the rodizio. Grilling the pineapple brings out/heightens it's natural sweetness. Excellent! Overall, very good. Will continue to patronize.

We always love coming here. Tonight is no exception. Tonight they had live music. The norm is Hubby gets the Rodizio and I always try something new. Each time is an amazing time. Food is delicious and service is great.

We had to make an unexpected trip to Newark, and a friend invited us to lunch at Casa Nova. Honestly, everything was pretty perfect regarding out lunch - the food, the ambiance, and the service. We visited on a weekday for lunch, and the restaurant was pretty empty, so we had a very personal experience. I cannot recall everything that was served with our multiple rounds of meat, but I remember really enjoying the ribs.

the service is very bad I guess they don't care about the service since they knew automatic tip is added no matter how poor the service is.

Girls' night rule #1: pick a place with a vibe. Girls' night…read morerule #2: the food better back it up. Burke's Tavern understood the assignment. None of us had been before, so we walked in blind, except not really, because the second we stepped inside the vibe hit us. Dimmed lights (but not "can't read the menu" dim), candles glowing, plants everywhere, music just loud enough to feel cool but not loud enough to ruin the gossip. Cozy. Chill. Cute. The holy trinity. It wasn't packed, so we had seating options and landed at a round table in the middle: elite positioning, honestly. Door and front windows on one side, bar view on the other. Prime people-watching real estate. Now let's discuss the important part: the food. We ordered strategically (read: everything we wanted). Lamb meatballs - 10/10. Holy crap. I don't know who is back there doing what, but please continue. Burrata pizza - absolutely delicious. Gone in record time. Gochu-Crispy-Chikin - no notes. Million Dollar Chicken - appropriately named. Fish 'N' Chips - zero complaints across the table. And that's the thing: not a single person in the group had an issue. No side-eye. No "it's good, but..." Just clean plates and happy energy. Now. Parking? Disrespectful. It's on a corner (love that), but finding parking took effort (do not love that). Would I let that stop me? Absolutely not. Parking be damned. I will circle. I will walk. I will manifest a spot. Because this place is such a vibe that it's already secured a return visit -- brunch is calling, and I need to see what this place feels like when the weather warms up. Girls' night/date night/ANY night approved.

The atmosphere and restaurant look great. It has a good vibe and the service was great. Let me tell you about the burger, not the best, they give you a slider size patty, overcooked and served on a bun that comes apart when you grab it. I'm not sure about the rest of the menu, but not a burger place. Now the chocolate cake with the raspberry ice cream--wow! This was the best part of the meal. I'm giving this place 4 stars even though I didn't like the burger because that's all I tried. I'll come back and revise this rating up/down if I come back and try other menu items. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

He's the main bartender and he has a terrible attitude. I came in here for about four or five Fridays in a row because my job is right down the block. The buffet is pretty good sometimes. The man behind the bar has such a bad attitude and we came in here five Fridays in a row and he never really greeted us. He would kind of grunt and throw menus right in front of where we were sitting .I could tell by the way he served us and looked at us that he didn't like me and my partner. Even on our receipt he would write Americans on it. I guess because we weren't Portuguese he didn't respect us. We would leave good tips every time and try to talk to the waitresses and him even using Google translate to try and have a conversation. He just had the most terrible attitude I've ever experienced at a restaurant. We would come in here Friday at around 12:00 and it would be dead. Probably because everybody knows this place sucks. Last Friday when we arrived there was a carpenter cutting into the walls making a terrible loud noise. I even had to tell him hey it's lunch time. You should be doing this work in the morning. I really wanted to leave but we were there to eat and I didn't want to look for another place. I ordered picana which is a typical Portuguese steak. It came super dry and very thin. The only great dish I've ever had here was there their yucca soup. That was terrific. My partner raved about their garlic shrimp. I would not return, especially since we found a place called Sol-mar right around the corner. Better food and way better service. I think the Bartender needs to learn how to serve Americans and not just Portuguese people. I would never return to this restaurant.

I will say the workers gave me a weird vibe which made the whole experience much less great. They would come by occasionally to fill up my water or check in, which is great. But a few of them were standing in the corner of the bar (which is in the middle of the restaurant and I was sitting at the bar) and they were complaining, very indiscreetly, about work and some other management at the airport. Now, I understand there are things that aren't great at every job and I don't mind people ranting about it, but there's a time and place. They could've and should've had that conversation in a more private area instead of out where all the customers were.
