Giuseppe does it's best to make its outdoor dining experience as comfortable and cool as possible. The dining area is one of the parking lots under a big tent with DJ playing music. The ground is a bit slanted so definitely be careful not to lean back on your chair. Shrimp stuff with crab meat and wrapped with prosciutto over spinach was a great start. The shrimp linguine with broccoli rabe sounded good but it didn't have a lot of flavor. The cockles with crab meat over a tri color linguine was very delicious but I remembered how much I didn't like cockles since they had so little meat inside. Plenty of pasta. Having dinner with our son who will celebrate his birthday this weekend. The place is empty at this time, then after a few minutes people are coming in. On a weeknight like this, I'm impressed that people are dining here. I ordered linguini with clams. I did not expect that clam shells will be difficult for me to chew, lol. Lots of clam shell remnants were in my linguine. Maybe those shells broke while they prep my order. I made a mistake ordering this entree from their dinner menu. At least you know now what NOT to order. Nothing outstanding, food is just an ordinary in Italian pesto taste. Their open dining area is right next to Hwy 27 being covered by a large tent, 6 ft distant rule is being observed. There are times we couldn't hear each other due to loud passing trains and vehicles. Service is great. $$$ Yelp price code is real, kinda pricey for an Italian restaurant in the area. read more

Been here for lunch and dinner. Staff is definitely accommodating. I've gone with a huge party of 12 and a small party of 5. I remember I couldn't decide what I wanted so I asked them to bring me a simple dish with garlic, spinach, and shrimp. They nailed it, and I was super happy. They also have the best crème brûlée I've ever had. And the fried zucchini--it's awesome!!! It's like French fries but zucchini, and it's sooo good! read more

Had a company holiday party tonight, although the initial service was good but after few incidents on issues with appetizers and entrees, the host (perhaps the owner) responded" if the food wasn't good, why did you guys eat it before letting you waiter know "not the response we were hoping for and the services went down hill from there. We did spent money for 6 people, it's just hard to swallow for 20% services fees when the "portion" of the food and services was 3 stars out of 5. Went there with a large group late at night for a dinner. we had not made a reservation but they could not have been more accommodating to our group, sitting us in a separate room and attending to us very nicely. We ordered an assortment of appetizers and the platters of great calamari, charcuterie and grilled vegies accompanied by delicious sauces filled the room. Great way to start... orders varied for dinner and included a massive series of steaks and large plates of pasta. All were washed down with Italian reds. My dish was the fish of the day cooked in a nice red sauce with olives and laid on a bed of sautéed spinach. I highly recommend this place! read more

Let me start with the good. The food was delicious: I got the branzino and my boyfriend got the linguine with clam sauce. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We loved the bruchetta and bread that came out immediately, as well. The service was very good and prompt. Now with the not-so-good. We had 7:00pm reservations and arrived right on time. The host (owner??) wanted to seat us at one of the tables in the "lobby" and I asked for a different table in one of the dining rooms. He was extremely rude to me in the way he spoke to me, telling me to look in the dining room and tell him where there was an empty seat. I would have been fine waiting 10-15 minutes for a table to open, but he did not even offer that. Meanwhile, not 5 minutes later, a table did open, but we were not asked if we wanted to move. Soon after that, multiple parties came in without reservations and were seated immediately. In the dining room. This was my first time here. I've spoken to a few people who have been here prior and I had high expectations. The atmosphere was lovely and intimate. The staff was courteous and the food presentation added a nice touch. Had it not been for all of the above I would have given 3 stars. The food wasn't bad, but for the price I have had better. The penne vodka seemed undercooked (not al dente) and the filet mignon was tough and chewy despite ordering it rare. I was very pleased with the level of doneness though it was truly rare. If I could rate this restaurant a ZeRo, I would!!! Asked what was the house special and they said the Lemon Sole, perfect I received a piece of Fish that had an odd smell and in ONE bite, could tell it was BAD Fish. How does a restaurant that specialize in Seafood and serve their "house" fish item send out a Fish that was so disgusting. Obviously sent the fish back and the manager came by to apologize & I ordered the Risotto which was served slightly under cooked, strike two. We got the bill and the Risotto was MORE than the fish.... holy cow, strike three! read more

This place is our go to spot for holiday dinners. We've come for Christmas Eve, Easter, and multiple birthdays throughout the years. The service here is always top notch, with servers who know the ins and outs of the entire restaurant and will always make recommendations and suggestions to anything we had questions about. The food here is always to die for, every dish is made to order and had a fresh, delicious taste each and every bite. I've had chicken dishes, filet minion, different pasta dishes and never been disappointed. This place treats you like family. A great example of this is on Christmas Eve, we were sure if we wanted to have a cold or hot antipasto, so our waiter and the owner surprised us with a combo appetizer, but with a twister. They brought out all the antipasto specialties in separate dishes and serviced them one by one on each of our dishes, something I've never experience at any other restaurant. I came here for lunch to celebrate a work anniversary with coworkers. It was a pleasant experience, and what I expect when going to an Italian restaurant. The parking lot is very small, but there is street parking available behind the lot and out the gate in a residential neighborhood. The restaurant offers complimentary sourdough bread with olive oil for dipping. The wait staff offers fresh black pepper and/or cheese to go with the olive oil dipping sauce. Very fresh and delicious bread, although the crust can be a bit hard to bite through. I got the prosciutto and mozzarella salad on a bed of baby greens as my appetizer. They wrap fresh mozz in prosciutto and stick it in the oven till the prosciutto is crisp and delicious. Then for my main, I had a shrimp and broccoli rabe dish over linguini with a white wine sauce. There were only two shrimps in the lunch option. However, I was so full of salad and bread that I ate the shrimps and most of the broccoli rabe and left the noodles. I took them home and that became lunch for today! The restaurant is built like a house, so there are lots of doorways and hallways instead of a big open dining area. This opens opportunities for holding meetings here, they even have a room with a projector and screen and doors that close to keep out the noise of other patrons. Went there Saturday night for my nieces birthday....11 of us....they did have a nice set up for us....but that's where it ended.....several of us ordered Caesar Salads....skimpy portion and dressing tasted like watered down mayo. I ordered pasta with "jumbo" shrimp and broccoli rabe.....it was like a plate of dirty dish water...no flavor, broccoli rabe was clearly old and re-heated....and we got 3 shrimp....and not jumbo! My nephew got the flies mignon.....what ever sauce they put over it was awful.....not a great plate for $46.50! Ordered Creme' Brule' for dessert....was ok, a bit overcooked. The bill with tip was a bit over $600...and that was 1 glass of wine, no other liquor......Needless to say, we will not be back! read more

I would not give ANYTHING less than 5 stars! I went to culinary school in Italy 10 years ago and this place is outstanding. The owners are so personable, the food is hot (temp wise which my dad always complains about at restaurants) and is so flavorful and absolutely delicious. I came single, but had the antipasti with the squid which was the BEST I have ever had in a sweet red sauce and the linguine con vongole- linguine with clams. The pasta was a a perfect aldente. Talk about an old school Italian restaurant - this place fits the bill. The waiters, males only and dressed in zoot suites watching every move you make. Drop a crumb on the table and it is immediately cleaned up, take a sip out of your water glass and it is immediately topped off. If this level of service turns you on then you may love the place. The food on the whole was very good to excellent. Determined to say in business during this slow economy they have rolled back their dinner prices to that of 1997. Great experience yesterday. I went for a business dinner and I was warmly greeted by the staff. Waitstaff was prompt and very attentive. And, the food was excellent. A companion had the Penne al la Vodka which was a generous portion which she enjoyed. I had a special which was risotto with peppers, mushrooms and artichoke.
