The potatoes were delicious, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and I really appreciated all the different flavors in the dish. Everything worked so well together. Definitely not your basic little steak-and-eggs brunch situation. The pain au chocolat was approximately the size of my head... and I have a big head, so please understand the measurements here lol. It was really good! I do wish it had been served warm and had a little more chocolate inside, but I'd absolutely order it again. Next time I'd probably get it by itself with a latte or hot chocolate and have myself a cute little pastry moment. And the passionfruit smoothie? Soooo good. Refreshing, flavorful and not overly sweet, which I appreciated because we don't need all that extra sugar. We have figures to watch around here. My mom really enjoyed herself too, which made the experience even better. I came to Casa Gianna for dinner on a Saturday night, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. From start to finish, the service and food left much to be desired. We waited an unreasonably long time just to be attended to, and once we finally placed our order, it took an astonishing hour and a half for the food to arrive. During that time, our server never came by to apologize for the delay or check if we needed anything, which made the situation even more frustrating. When the food finally arrived, it was a disaster. One person in our group was served raw chicken--completely unacceptable and a major health risk. My own chicken lacked any flavor and ended up making me sick afterward. For the high prices, I expected much better quality and care in both the service and the food. Overall, Casa Gianna provided one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. Poor service, poorly prepared food, and high prices make it impossible for me to recommend this place. I won't be returning. read more

Our stay at the hotel was enjoyable overall, but we had a very unpleasant experience with a bartender named Sasha at Casa Gianna. Her attitude was highly undesirable, especially when we presented the drink tickets provided by the hotel. Additionally, her interactions with other staff members were tense and unprofessional, which made us feel uncomfortable. This experience detracted from an otherwise lovely stay. What made the situation even more frustrating was that she acted as though this was somehow our fault, when clearly it was her mistake. Why take down a customer's name and phone number if you're not going to use it? A simple phone call or text asking if we were still coming could have avoided the entire issue. Because of her error, we then had to wait another 30-40 minutes for an outdoor table, which she recommended because we had our kids with us. During that entire time, not a single manager came over to apologize, acknowledge the mistake, offer empathy, or even offer water or drinks while we waited. The lack of hospitality was honestly shocking. Once we were finally seated, we immediately ordered because our kids were starving. Still, nobody thanked us for waiting or apologized for the inconvenience. Instead, our waitress repeatedly told my son to stop touching the table lamp and kept asking if he was "a good boy," which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the table next to us was smoking cigars directly beside us and blowing smoke in our direction while we were eating with our children. No staff member offered to move us or politely ask the guests to be considerate. The food itself was mediocre at best and extremely overpriced. After we had already been sitting and eating for over 20 minutes, someone finally brought coloring supplies for the kids -- far too late to even matter. Again, still no manager, no apology, and no attempt whatsoever to make up for the experience, not even a small dessert or gesture of goodwill. The tropical paradise with mango mousse was the best. The tahini brownie was delicious, but odd. The desert rose was not at all baklava. It was a nest of kataifi and somehow missed the target. Some of these dishes appear on the restaurants Miami Spice menu - I recommend them all. My only comment was that there were lots of leftovers. We were not able to take away any leftovers. Would this be the case if you were dining with your family? Food waste is such a problem in our country. Perhaps this restaurant is part of a system that donates food to shelters.
