Service was good, not obsequious or overbearing. Good teamwork. It did take about half an hour to get my entree, making it feel like somewhere was understaffed. But the ambiance is nice. The food was delicious. I love the wedge salad with the dill ranch dressing. Our steak/prime rib was cooked to perfection. Hector knew I was bringing home my leftovers to our son, so he suggested that if we didn't have room for two desserts, we share the Billy Miner pie and he would box up a cheesecake for our son. He even included a mint for him, to give him "the full Keg experience". I highly recommend everyone get to the Keg to try the Dine Around 3 course menu, you won't regret it.

Our lunch at the Kelowna Moxies on Cooper was great this afternoon. The place was renovated in January 2022, so it's quite new and up to date with all the modern look you'd expect. Turns out, you can also expect a great meal with very good service that doesn't take very long. Our server was engaging, funny, and a Leafs fan. I guess you can't have it all lol. My Avocado Bacon Cobb salad was a departure for me, and excellent. The lovely K had the Pork Miso Ramen, which was also great. Only drawback for me, was that menu illustrated the dish with a runny egg, which was not the case. A small quibble perhaps, but a little detail like that tells you how close they got to making it perfect. We'll most certainly be back!

The space is huuuuge and very clean and posh looking. I got a watermelon sangria and the chicken lettuce wraps and loved both. The watermelon sangria was definitely on the watermelon side which was nice from tasting the deep notes of a red wine sangria. Refreshing! The chicken lettuce wraps are from the appetizers but I was full by the end of it and they were so flavourful even without the sauce (but I'm a sauce boss and loved the sauce on top too) We ended on a great big slice of mocha ice cream cake and lemme tell you this cake rivals my favourite Dairy Queen ice cream cake

I am writing this review to share my recent experience at TONICS and to highlight the…read moreunprofessional and discriminatory behavior of a front door Security staff member. Having visited this establishment over 50 times in the past, I have generally enjoyed my visits; however, I was taken aback by the incident that occurred. My friend and his family, have over 25 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, have been previous owners and operators of multiple establishments, was denied entry due to his physical disability resulting from scoliosis and mobility challenges!!! The doorman, a dark haired caucasian male in his mid-20s to early 30s, judged my friend's walking style and wrongfully assumed he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Despite my attempts to explain my friend's physical condition in a respectful and cordial manner, the doorman remained closed-minded and did not seek further clarification from management or someone above him. Consequently, we were all barred from entering TONICS due to this staff member's discriminatory actions. It is particularly disheartening to note that my friend has never faced such issues in any other establiahment in Kelowna before, but experienced similar discrimination on 2 previous occasions at TONICS. I urge potential visitors to consider this experience carefully, as you may encounter profiling and discrimination at TONICS that could leave you feeling devalued. Kelowna has many more food and beverage establishments that will show you respect and value your patronage, you may prefer to attend one of those locations.

Our servers on both occasions were highlights, attentive yet also leaving us be. Last night it was just K and I and the previous visit there were five of us outside on the patio. The menu is extensive enough that you should be able to find something to meet the needs of your palate while here, but there are many choices within walking distance that may be a better choice of you are looking for a specific culinary experience. If you don't want to leave the hotel, you shouldn't be disappointed with your choice. Our food while not amazing during each visit was solid, and well presented. We were seated quickly and given menus. Beer selection is small and limited to domestic type pale lagers. They have a nice little selection of craft cocktails, which we opted not to try. The wine selection was small but comprehensive and local, with a good half dozen available "on tap" by the glass, 1/2 litre and one litre. We decided on an off-dry Pinot Grigio based blend they had "on tap", skipped the apples and went straight to entrées. I had the special which was a nice salmon filet topped with a light, delicate cream sauce and capers, with broccoli, carrots and beet and a saffron risotto. My girlfriend had the pan seared chicken with truffles and the same sides as me. The salmon was very good and the veggies perfectly done. The chicken was even better than the salmon. But the risotto was absolutely to die for. Creamy, delicate and slightly sweet. For dessert, we got the crème brûlée with a coffee gelato and a chocolate cake, also with gelato. Both were excellent and wonderful Enders to an exquisite meal. Highly recommended. Service was excellent, and very personal.
