The chile relleno was super interesting because it was actually stuffed with mean and rice, which is not traditional. The mole was rich and sweet, as expected. Portions are quite large and these dishes are heavy/rich so it's quite filling. I guess their most popular items are the tacos, but that seemed rather lame and is likely because a lot of people are not familiar with these other dishes. The cocktail list could use some revamping. There were a lot of cheap spirits bring used and it gave all inclusive resort cocktails vibe. They need a real mixologist to come in and give them some recipes so that they have authentic margaritas and other drinks without the sugary sweet frat party liquor. They just need to focus on better quality spirits and a more Mexico focused liquor list. Staff was super nice and friendly. I think they brought the chips and salsa as we had been waiting awhile for our food. Overall, I would recommend this place as it was priced fairly and the food was quite good. Is this authentic? Not really from the "modern" aspect, but they do a good job of melding the traditional with the new.

Server was great even though it was mainly one server, one bar tender, and 2 managers operating. For dessert, ordered tea and a slice of the strawberry cheesecake. Service was prompt at the bar and the manager came over and pleasantly accommodated our request to turn on opening day baseball. We ordered an eggs Benedict to nosh while sipping out drinks of choice (espresso martini for me and a Caesar for my fried) and were both very happy with our cocktails. The eggs Benedict was alright, but oh my, the side of potatoes was amazing! We fought over the crispy well seasoned morsels until the waiter broke us up by removing the plate.
