All I have to say: $1.50 oysters on happy hour!!! What a steal for top tier oysters- they were so good with the mignonette on them. I got them without the chili oil because I have a very low spice tolerance. I also tried the whipped ricotta which was delicious with the focaccia.

    Dollar oysters for happy hour

When visiting Austin recently, my colleague suggested this spot for happy hour as it it's one of her faves. I can see why - Casa Bianca is such a vibe! First of all - I am a happy hour girlie - I love a deal on a cocktail and a snack. Happy our is daily from 4 - 6 pm and it features $1 oysters, select $10 cocktails, and $2 off wines by the glass. In addition to oysters, there are awesome items like fingerling potatoes in Caesar dip, pasta sopresina with mussels, chicken wings, and a burger on the happy hour menu. I was really impressed with everything, especially the pasta. We ordered a side of foccacia to soak up all the sauce, it was divine! I started with La Brasa for my drink - which was a spicy tequila based cocktail with mango. I also got an Aperol spritz which was the size of my head, I loved it! We finished happy hour with a sweet treat that our local expert said we MUST try - the lasagna mille-feuille. This is a layered lasanga-inspired dessert with cream, crispy pastry, and candied pecan. For being so rich in flavor, this dish was light and airy and the perfect way to end our happy hour. The service here was friendly, and the place was packed! We made it for happy hour and left while live jazz was just starting. While it was a dreary day on our visit, I could definitely see myself having cocktails and oysters on the patio if it was a sunny day - it's so cute out there! While we didn't drive since we were traveling - there is a lot at the restaurant which is on the small side, and a parking garage across the street. Seems like a popular spot and I would definitely be a regular if I lived in the city!

I had been to this place prior, but it was a different name so it still looks really cute inside we did make a reservation because it does tend to get full on the weekends. We did get there for the happy hour for the oysters, which is a great deal I will say that. We got a seat at the bar and I were waiter was very nice and knew what to recommend. The only reason I'm giving this place three stars is because to me the food was OK now I will say the oysters were divine and a great happy hour prize so I would definitely come back just for that. The crispy potatoes to me were nothing special. They were good, but that's it. The pasta my friend got was sorry to say this tasted like hamburger helper to me and then I got the pork belly and same thing. Nothing special it was just pork belly. After that, we just didn't really wanna order anything anymore so just enjoyed our drinks and call it a day there.

Small parking lot but also street parking. We were greeted by the hostess and sat promptly. They have happy hour daily til 6 so we took advantage to try a few things. The wings (3 to an order) were really good but messy. The mussels and pasta were our favorite snack and so were the fingerling potatos with Caesar dip. The chicken parm special $25 was a good size and priced fair. You can add a glass of champagne for $10 but it's a little dry and needs sauce for the pasta. We were a big fan of the dessert lasagna. It was light and not super sweet. A shareable size and I loved the honey comb with it.

THE BIG: Italian restaurant with interesting art deco/bauhaus interior design. Indoor and outdoor seating along with a rooftop terrace (season permitting). Street parking primarily with limited private lot. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here with the Austin team from work for a Happy hour and Casa Bianca did not disappoint. There is a rooftop terrace but it wasn't open when we went. An opportunity for next time! For food we got the focaccia starter, pasta sorpresina , tortelli, mushroom lasagna, pork belly, and for dessert the donut. All dishes were very delicious and I have to say the mushroom lasagna was a darkhorse and was my favorite bite of the night. Drinks-wise, we started off with a few cocktails and wines but eventually moved towards a bottle of montepulciano and nebbiolo to round out the night. THE FINAL BAMBOO: This was a happy hour for the austin team, so we in total spent around $400 for everything. Good service and delicious food. Definitely a must try at least once.

Came here for a birthday dinner and it was pretty good. Staff were friendly and attentive. The mezcal drink was tasty and refreshing but it did take some time to come out. We went at 5:30pm and there was plenty of parking in the lot. Surprisingly, it was also HH until 6pm on a Sunday. Our group of 3 ordered a lot and shared... the chicken wings, fingerling potatoes, oysters, lamb cavatelli, focaccia, mushroom lasagna, risotto, and the branzino. All were delicious. The standouts were the chicken wings and the lamb cavatelli.

I wasn't sure what to expect but my oh my was I pleasantly surprised. The team at Casa Bianca has transformed the old Eastside Tavern into an elegant space with fantastic staff and an incredible menu. The drinks are beautiful and delicious and the menu is unique and incredible. On Tuesdays they have a bubbles and chicken parmigiana special and I'm not typically a huge fan but it left us in awe. I'll be back soon to make my way through the rest of the menu!

Rating: 3.9/5 We walked in with a party of 5 during dinner and were seated right away at a nice booth with a large table. The intimate seating made it easy to focus on our conversations without distractions, and our server was great. Dressed Raw Oysters ($1/Oyster HH): I didn't try these, but my husband enjoyed them. Fried Olives Stuffed With Herbs ($11): Served with gorgonzola cream. I'm not usually big on olives, but they were delicious and made a great starter for the table. Cured Scallop + Apple ($23): This dish came with shaved celery, galangal, and bergamot. The combination was interesting and worked well, offering a cool, refreshing contrast to some of the heavier items we ordered. Chicken Parm + Angel Hair ($25): A Tuesday special and one of my friend's favorites here. This was one of the better versions we've had. The chicken was super crispy on the outside without being dry inside, and it wasn't too heavy. Confit + Fried Chicken Wings ($10 HH): Three huge wings that were quite good. The Calabrian chili jam offered a different flavor profile that I enjoyed, though I still lean toward Asian flavors. Cavatelli ($17): This lamb and hazelnut ragu with fermented honey was a first for me. I don't think I've ever had lamb pasta before. The lamb flavor came through without being overpowering. Worth trying once for the novelty, but probably not something I'd order again. Grilled Pork Belly ($31): Served with guanciale, date relish, and caramelized pear. The portion felt small for the price, and the pork belly itself was just okay. The flavors didn't really come through as expected. Crispy Skin Branzino ($38): This came with brown butter corn puree and pistachio salsa verde. The fish was smaller than expected, and while it was good, the flavors were more mellow than the flavor bomb I was expecting. C.R.E.A.M. ($10 HH): A refreshing cocktail with white rum, coconut, pandan, lime, and absinthe. Surprisingly good and on the lighter side.

I had an excellent first visit a couple of weeks ago. Casa Bianca has a great happy hour with food and drink options, including $1 oysters. They also feature daily specials. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ordered except for the wings. My favorites were the oysters, shrimp and pork belly tortelli, and fingerling potatoes. Casa Bianca is definitely a great happy hour or dinner option here in Austin!

The spot is very cute. The service was quick. Each person who brought out food described the dish they served in detail. The food was pretty good. The potatoes were my favorite. The wings were a close second. The oysters were ok.

Solid spot, great vibes, consistent food and service. Their Tuesday $35 chicken parm w/angel hair pasta and a glass of brut is an absolute STEAL. My partner typically isn't a fan of chicken parm because most come out dry, but casa Bianca nails it. If you come definitely aim for their happy hour. I was impressed by their oysters (only $1 each during HH - I have no idea how they pull this off in this economy lol). It's fresh, beautifully shucked and pre-seasoned. Cocktails are also amazing. If you like pandan, their C.R.E.A.M is a boozy pandan drink that's milky but also refreshing. Not too sweet as well.

I've walked past Casa Bianca dozens of times over the last few years and had no idea about the lovey oyster happy hour they have offered on the daily. Happy hour is 4-6pm every day featuring $1 murder point oysters (max 12 per guest), $10 cocktails, $9 wine by the glass. As other diners mentioned, the mignonette chili oil atop the oysters offers a fun bite. They have patio and rooftop patio dining, bar seating, and indoor dining, the perfect setting for a romantic or gal-pal din-din of pasta and seafood. Def going back in a few weeks. Other notable specials: :: Fried chicken and Champs on Tuesday ($35 chicken parm with angel hair pasta + glass of Ca' del Bosco brut) :: Industry Sundays with $10 happy hour cocktails and food specials on loaded fries, parm heroes, pizza pockets

The Tuesday chicken parm special is a must-do. The champagne, pasta, and chicken are all delicious. Had enough leftover for lunch the next day. The restaurant has a super cool vibe and easy parking lot. Service was also great! We will definitely be back!

The chicken thighs and broccolini were grilled to perfection. My wife's hamburger was juicy and delicious with tasty homemade pickles. The french fries were divine. And, to top it all off, the very unique carrot cake with toasted, honey ice cream was the best I've ever tasted Our server, John, was fabulous. We recently went to The Launderette for brunch on a Sunday morning. Now that the weather is getting…read morea little better, they have more seating because they have a nice big patio outside. But I would still advise getting a reservation. There were three of us and we started out with the pastry of the day and the pull apart cinnamon roll. Both were excellent. Two of us got burgers and one of us got the chicken sandwich after that, and I was very glad that one of the others tried their burger before I did because the pickled onions on it were very spicy! The pickles are also spicy but not as bad as the onions. Once I scrape those off, it was a very tasty burger. The person who ordered the chicken sandwich said it could use a little more seasoning but other than that, it was good. We were going to order drinks but they didn't have the ingredients for the one drink we wanted, so we decided to skip that. The waitstaff was very friendly. We were glad we ordered the pastries first because it did take a while for our food to come out. I definitely recommend going there just to try the pastries! They have a small parking lot but they also own the building to the right of them so you can park in that lot also.
