Russ was so easy to work with, and I was able to process everything and pick up the car the day after I flew in.

This is my first exotic--and he never once made me feel out of my league. (Although he is a savvy negotiator!) Steve finalized the deal and remained transparent throughout. As it happened, I test drove the car two weeks prior to coming back to purchase it--and, to my surprise, when I drove it off the lot, two blocks later...a conspicuously loud squeak I had not heard earlier was apparent. (It was the serpentine belt.) During the fulfillment of financing, a minor discrepancy in the material filed by Milpas (they cited the sales price a few dollars _less_ than what we had agreed), caused my bank to take pause--and afforded an additional convo with the dealership about the squeak. Steve graciously offered to replace the serpentine at his expense... Suggested I bring the car on back for the repair. Even though I was unable to do this due to international travel, Milpas honored that agreement a month later. And--while having the work done--the dealership was even kind enough to offer a pick up from their local mechanic. Moreover, since bringing the car home, the provenance of the car--everything Jim told me about the vehicle to help clinch the deal--has been verified by third parties...i.e., by an entirely different dealership's service manager familiar with the car and its former owner. The car is the most expensive vehicle I have ever purchased...but it was not a purchase made impulsively. I don't regret it an iota. I must say: I have never loved a vehicle more...it's an absolute pleasure in every way. But importantly: while--with any used car purchase--buyer beware...I'm _extremely_ grateful the guys at Milpas operate with such integrity. This is not a used car dealership like so many others. Gorgeous inventory. Superior service. Real gentlemen. Highest recommendation.

I had shopped around at a few dealers locally, but was having trouble finding exactly what I wanted at a good and fair price. I spoke with Dennis, the owner, and we went over what I was looking for, including price range. Within a few days he was able to present me with some options that matched exactly what I wanted. He was very meticulous and made sure that every option he presented me with was in great condition, with no problems. It can be a little scary to make a big purchase without seeing , or testing it out first, but Dennis made the buying experience an excellent one. After narrowing down my options, I finally selected my new car, and a week later it arrived. He had it detailed and filled up the tank, which was a nice surprise. I was extremely pleased with the entire experience. Dennis was honest, efficient, and never made me feel pressured. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and was always willing to answer any and all questions. 4 months later I am still happy and love my new car. I will definitely recommend Santa Barbara Auto Solutions to all my friends and family.

I was just a few minutes away from Big Brand when this occurred, so I stopped in there for the first time in years. I was really glad that I did. Delip was so helpful, and right away he alleviated my biggest concerns about what might be wrong with my car. He gives you his full attention, and very patiently answers all of your questions. He also stays in communication with you step by step through the whole process of getting your car back on the road. You don't even have time to wonder what's going on, because he has already let you know! Big Brand has some of the best customer service I've ever received at an auto repair shop, and I'm definitely going to be using them from now on.

I appreciate them taking responsibility for the issue, but it is a little ridiculous how hard it was to get this taken care of. Given this, and the way the manager first treated me after I showed him the scratch, I am only increasing my rating to 2 stars. This entire experience did not give me warm and fuzzies so I still plan to get tires elsewhere in the future. Original Review Below I've been a customer here for years. Have bought multiple sets of tires here for different cars. Yesterday I brought in my BMW for a new set of rear tires. When I picked up the car, there was a massive scratch on the hood along with scuff marks on the back left door. The car is barely over a year old and was pristine. I always baby my cars so I noticed the scratch right away. The manager played dumb and claimed it wasn't them. He was a complete a-hole about it and didn't take any responsibility. Needless to say I'll never be taking my business here again.

On 8/9/25, I sent an inquiry for a 2023 Shark Blue Porsche GTS which had been on their lot since 4/8/25. Dylan, a new sales representative, responded to my inquiry with a leasing option for the vehicle. On 8/21/25, I again contacted Dylan about this vehicle as I saw that the dealership lowered the price. I indicated to Dylan that I was still interested, but I was looking at another GTS with similar specifications. Further, I stated I would be interested in his vehicle if they could match the monthly leasing payment of the other dealership I was in contact with. Dylan then stated his manager, Rene, was able to lower the lease factor rate an additional $70 a month. He stated they were all in at this point and no further discounts were available. On 8/22/25, I requested to speak directly with Rene to directly discuss all options and pricing. I was told that a call could be scheduled the following morning. Unfortunately, the call was never scheduled because Rene was "too busy". On 8/27/25, in a further attempt to negotiate with Rene, I sent Dylan and Rene information on a lease for the same car from another dealership. On 8/28/25, I was contacted by both Rene and Dylan. Rene began the conversation by indicating that he is very busy and does not have very much time. At this point, I stated I wanted to make this deal happen. We finalized the leasing contract, and I sent the dealership my license and filled out a credit application. At this point, I planned to make the 2 hour drive that afternoon, once the car was detailed, to pick up the car before close of business that day at 6 p.m. When I arrived at the dealership at 5:15 p.m. Dylan asked if I would sign the paperwork for the lease before driving the car, as they were closing in 45 minutes. I stated that I wanted to test drive the car before signing any paperwork. Surprisingly, when driving the car, Dylan and I immediately heard a loud banging noise coming from the steering wheel. At this point, not knowing the extent of the issue, I decided not to sign the paperwork until the car was checked the next day. I received a text from Dylan the following day indicating that he would contact me as soon as he knew the status of the repair. I asked to speak with Rene at this point. After several hours of no contact with the manager Rene, I sent an email to Rene's manager Bill Fogg asking for him to contact me. Only then did I receive a call from Rene who indicated Bill Fogg asked him to contact me regarding my email to Bill Fogg. I expressed my frustration regarding the events that transpired the day before. It was clear to me that the vehicle was not ready to be leased, yet, both Rene and Dylan proceeded with the contract knowing I would be driving 2 hours to complete the transaction. Rene did not apologize for the events from the day before, took no responsibility for attempting to lease a car that clearly had not been inspected, and offered no assistance moving forward to complete the transaction. He minimized the inconvenience this situation caused me by saying things happen, they are working on resolving them, and they would follow up with more details. I immediately contacted Dylan and requested in confidence not to deal with Rene because of his attitude and non-responsiveness on multiple occasions. Dylan indicated that Rene was not the manager who usually handles used car deals and that he would ask the used car manager to call me. Immediately after the above request, Rene calls me saying that Dylan came to him with my complaints and that he is the manager in charge and no one else. He then stated that the dealership did not want to work with me on this transaction. No further details were given. To date, I have not been contacted by Bill Fog, dealership manager or Steve Knappenberger the owner, despite emails asking for an explanation. I am highly frustrated and disappointed in the massive lack of customer service and disrespect I received from Santa Barbara Porsche. Minimally, I would expect a vehicle would undergo an inspection prior to any offering of sale/lease. Further, they knowingly agreed to a deal and pick up of the vehicle without such inspection. Please consider my experience when determining where to purchase/lease your Porsche. The dealership should not be allowed to continue these unprofessional and deceptive practices to any future clients, and I hope they will be held accountable for the treatment I experienced.

I was in the market for a used Jeep, and the one I found at this dealership (it was a lease return) was a 2022 Jeep Sahara 4xe, which is a plug-in hybrid with a 4-cylinder turbo engine and 8 speed automatic transmission. This isn't your father's Jeep to say the least, and I was skeptical, but it was the trim/color I wanted and loaded with features. I spoke with Santiago about it on it on the phone, he answered some questions about the hybrid set-up, and scheduled a time for me to come look at it. Mind you this is in Santa Barbara, and I live in LA; from my house this is a 1.5 hour drive with no traffic. Santiago inspired some confidence, otherwise trust me I wouldn't have spent 3+ hours on it. No rush at the dealership, I walked around it and inspected it for a bit while asking Santiago some questions. Some minor scratches but other than that it looked brand new. I even checked the engine bay, and Santiago showed me some not-so-obvious things e.g. the rear panels come out. Test drive was basically "where do you want to go", so I drove it around town for a while, and then on the freeway for a few exits. I did a lot of testing at different speeds and acceleration to see how the hybrid drivetrain worked, gas engine on/off etc. Worked flawlessly with 34k miles on it. It was worth the price, so I bought it on the spot. Financing was easy, and they offered a 3 year bumper-to-bumper warranty for a monthly fee, so I took it. I will cancel that after a while, I did it just in case there was something wrong with it that the dealership didn't catch (e.g. something with 4 wheel drive behavior). Came with 4 brand new tires, and a brand new spare! P.S. I was curious what the negative reviews were about, and every single one of the ones I looked at were for service, and most of those for Dodge vehicles. I can't comment on the service of course not having used it, however you should look around at whatever dealerships are a reasonable distance from you, and use the one that is best reviewed. You can use any dealership with the original warranty.

Literally the only thing that makes me consider not getting another jeep is having this dealership as the local jeep dealer. Every single interaction I have with this place makes me wonder how they stay in business. Everything about this place is just horrible. Service is a nightmare every single time. Whoever is in charge of this outfit needs to be fired ASAP. I'm done. I've spent so much money here, I've sold them a jeep, I get all my service done here, and I'm just done. They just don't care about people and it shows. They don't care about the vehicles or the service, and it shows. This outfit is shameful, never walking in those doors again. You shouldn't either. Everyone hates this dealership and crown in Ventura is just as bad if not worse. It literally kills me. I hate everything about this place, just look at the reviews and make your own judgements.
