He fixed my car quickly and was very kind! Should I need anything in the future I will be back. The work is great and my car has been happy since it's visit here. read more

Always great to work with Aegis. Been taking care of all my cars for years. Very satisfied

Great Benz service. Stuttgart Motors are incredibly competent. Simply extremely experienced. Whatever you need done, they have done it a million times. Experienced, fair pricing, but as a result they are always very busy. Worth waiting for an appointment. read more

Friendly and helpful staff. Got my problem fixed and Stuttgart saved me quite a bit of money.

Excellent diagnosis of an A/C not working in my 1986 300E. Excellent jov after 2 other shops failed! Highly reccomend.

I may have reviewed this before but its worth doing twice. Egis and Tomas at Stuttgart Motors know what they are doing. I actually am able to own an older model Mercedes because of the talent and acuity of this team. They can fix some problems and repair on the spot if its possible, and have done magic I think sometimes, making an old car come alive again for a fair price. They explain and advise every step and I know Egis is quoting the fairest price in parts. read more

I've been bringing my Mercedes to Agis & Tomas for over 15 years. They are always very busy but so helpful when I've had various emergencies or issues. I'm long overdue on posting a review and once again they really came thru recently when I had a check engine light on & a headlight out. They never upsell or replace things that don't need to be replaced. They even fix things that I had forgotten to mention. Fantastic customer service & they make a great team! I think they only work on Mercedes & BMW's so if you are looking for a mechanic that you can trust, I highly recommend Stuttgart Motors! read more

Aegis and Thomas are the best. Very willing to take the time to explain what and why they are doing what they do. They also charge very reasonably. Do yourself a favor and go to the MB dealer first for an estimate on whatever you need done.... then go to see Aegis and Thomas. You will be blown away. They are very accommodating as well. I live an hour drive from their shop and they have always made time for me and fit me into a time slot that suited my schedule. read more

During the recent huge rain storm, while family was away, we didn't start our 2020 MBZ for 15 days. AAA came to try to jump the battery - no way. Excellent AAA driver towed it to Stuttgart and Agis miraculously had it running by 4 pm. I thought we were going to need to get a new car with all the issues facing it - and I mean plenty of issues. Not just the battery issue. He is a genius and the price was incredibly fair. He & Thomas have been taking care of our MBZs over 20 years. read more

This is literally the best shop ever. Egnis (I have no clue how to spell his name) has been servicing our cars (2 bmw and 1 Mercedes) for 5 years has always gave a low cost and honest price, continuously taken care of us and fit us in, and has NEVER tried to oversell. We even go as far as to tow one of our cars back from Orange County since Egnis is the ONLY person we let touch the cars. He is the absolute best and I hope he does not retire because I need him. 100% satisfied, overjoyed, and thrilled to have Egnis as my mechanic as long as he is in service I will not even consider going elsewhere. read more

Amazing service, best mechanics in town. Wouldn't trust anyone else with my Mercedes! Xoxo

Very honest, trustworthy, and reliable auto shop. I've been a Customer for over 7 years, I've never went back for the same issue. Eigess and Thomas are the best read more

Very knowledgeable regarding Mercedes Benz, especially classics. Services my 3 Mercedes. Reasonable prices and timely repairs.

Hands down the best mechanic in Santa Barbara go to him! He's honest fast and does amazing work!

Another mechanic had recommended that I replace the radiator for my slk 230 Mercedes, and he also wanted to do an expensive replacement of a seal for the Differential. I had heard great reviews about Stuttgart Motors and decided to check out this place and get a second opinion before shelling out the big bucks. I'm glad I did, because the younger guy who looked at my car (at no charge) informed me that the radiator was probably fine, and the slightly damp housing on the differential was to be expected for a 20 yr old car. No seal replacement necessary. A 5 minute visit saved me a couple thousand bucks. I will be taking my car to Stuttgart going forward. read more

This is the type of shop that when friends ask if you know anybody in town who they can trust - you jump at the opportunity to share. Amazing crew! More specifically, I've gone to them twice with what I thought were issues and they advised me that they weren't, instead of taking my money for nothing like Mercedes of Santa Barbara does. read more

The best and honest mechanic I ever came across. I have been taking my 2000 MBZ E320 for over 18 years and 2004 BMW 525i for 12 years to Egis. He always fix the issue on 1st trial. Service fees were reasonable. They don't need to milk the customer. They have plenty happy customer like me. After all these years, my cars runs like brand new. It's very important we take the car to the right mechanics. read more

I was stranded in Santa Barbara. My 380SL wouldn't start. The AAA tow truck operator had a couple of AAA certified mechanics but called Stuttgart first. They were knowledgeable of my older MB and was direct and honest about my options. He was able to get the parts we needed to get back on the road by 6:00PM, and if your a late model MB owner, you know what a miracle that is. Thanks to Eigess for his devotion to his customers and his craft. JB/Orange County CA. read more

The "Stuttgart Motors" is the place to go! I personally drive 150 miles from Orange County to place my car on the surgery table. Eigess and Tomas are the guys i trust my car with 100%! I've been going to "Stuttgart Motors" overall for two years and been happy since than. I had multiple major problems and some here and there: Every time the prices are unbeatable and time frame between the drop off and pick up is minimal unless told otherwise (Example: Special ordered part). Very happy with the place, friendly and help full environment and great prices. Thank you very much! read more

Best Mercedes mechanic EVER! Tell him "monkey boy" sent you! ps... that's his nickname for my son :) Stuggart Motors has always made sure my car is in the safest condition so my kids are safe and for that I am very grateful! read more

Eigess and his team are incredible. I've been taking my car to him for 4 years after a neighbor's recommendation and I'm narrowing my new (used) car search down to the brands that he takes care of. He's THAT GOOD. Can't say enough positive about their company & morals, and that's pretty sweet for a car repair guy. read more

Egis is amazing. I can't believe this guy. Originally and engineer, he's the Mercedes whisperer. I brought my car in for a service B and he fixed a flat, remounted my license plate and touched up a spot in my bumper - all without asking (or paying). With so many German cars all stacked up in his driveway, it even seems a little like a bustling auto shop in Europe. Highly recommended, very honest, fast. read more

I first tried Stuttgart after receiving a recommendation from another auto repair business (they do windshields). Now I am so sorry I ever went to the dealer for service. Stuttgart is amazing, the best service at the best possible price. My daughter brings her car from Santa Monica for service. Well worth the drive, and we know that her car is in the most capable, and honest, of hands. I am so glad we discovered Egis! read more

I had a terrible experience at Stuttgart Motors. Sorry to say that I would describe them as anti woman and certainly suspect in their service and repairs. I took a Porsche in for a routine oil change and after they did a "courtesy inspection " my roof wouldn't close and I literally lost all my antifreeze standing beside the car in their parking lot. They comped me labor after some intense conversations- but still cost $1600 in parts for the top and antifreeze to get my car back to the condition it was when I dropped it off! They also forgot to install a part on the top and I had to go back again for that. It was clear that there was a negative energy around my presence. So all in all strong wArning to go to another German car shop. read more

Great and timely service. Fairly priced and they just do it all not much else to say other than I like them very much.

The owner and his team are very genuine and super high integrity. Always fair, helpful, and top notch work. Very good advice on service and maintenance schedules, what tires to get, etc. Doesn't get any better especially when servicing European autos. Prices are also more than fair. read more

I am so thankful that I had a friend refer me to Stuttgart for the repairs to my BMW, Eigess was awesome, honest and knowledgeable and helped me understand what were important things to address immediately on my car and what items didn't need repair or replacement right away. I will be bringing my car back to Stuttgart for all future repairs! read more

Best of the best is all i have to say!!! Never had this good of a mechanic. Egis`s work is always amazing and Thomas as well. They always give 110%. Highly recommend them!!! read more

Awesome service & very quick. Fixed my tail light circuit in twenty minutes and I was on my way.

If you have a BMW or Mercedes, don't even consider going any place else for minor or major repair and scheduled service work, whether your car is old or new. I have taken my BMW here for the past few years and, after owning 4 BMW's in succession, wish I had heard about them a long time ago. The environment here is professional, thorough, and reasonable. Eigess and his fine mechanics (Thomas, especially) are extremely experienced, fastidious, and will explain everything in detail that needs to really be done - and you won't be charged for work that doesn't need to be done unnecessarily. Keep in mind they only work on BMW and Mercedes and are so busy you might have to wait a few days for "non emergency" service. Trustworthy, honest, fair, capable - how many times can you say that about a repair shop? Enthusiastically recommended, and my only complaint is I wish I could bring my Porsche here! read more
