Not only did they do the oil change, but performed a multi-point inspection, topped all fluids, ran code check, set tire pressure, and even washed the car! The shop staff is very knowledgeable and thorough in their inspections. The quality of work is amazing and quick turnaround times while making sure everything is addressed. They provide a final report of the work completed and things to keep an eye on, which is useful for future service. This most recent visit, I needed an oil change and my window fixed after another mechanic installed and adjusted the regulator incorrectly. They were able to adjust the window and reduce the wind noise substantially. I have a 1984 Porsche Carrera that I bought new almost 40 years ago. It is my baby and I take very good care of it. There is no place in Santa Barbara County other than Schneider Autohaus that I would take my Porsche for maintenance or repairs. They know what they are doing; they know the ins and outs of older Porsches; their prices are fair in terms of the quality of their work; and they don't try to sell you on unneeded repairs. I recently brought my Porsche in for routine service and they pointed out several potential problems - most of which we mutually agreed didn't need to be done but two of which I agreed needed to be addressed. I am bring my car back in a couple of weeks to have that work done - knowing that they will do an excellent job. I don't know what I would do if they ever close. In the future, plan to bring my new Macan GTS to Schneider for service. read more

Above and beyond... My wife and I were visiting Santa Barbara from the Bay Area. Road trip in my '99 Porsche 911. I noticed that a headlight was out when we arrived in town. Searched for a local Porsche place and found Schneiders. I called and asked if they could replace a headlight bulb for me while I waited. The very nice lady said no problem just stop by. I drove over from where we are staying. They had me pull right up and immediately replaced the lightbulb. Then the tech said why don't I just check them all while your here, there was a parking light out and he replaced it. Then the tech checked all the tires for pressure, checked the oil, and shop vac'd leaves out of the hood are that could have pluged the drain from that area (it had been raining). When I went into the office to pay, they only were billing me for the light bulbs!! Unbelievable service!!! Highly recommend!!! read more

I had them perform the repair and I must say, it was a pleasure working with Paula and her team.
