I set-up an appointment, showed a little early, and by my appointment time the car was on the rack and the tires were mounted, balanced and back on my Outback in no time. They noticed my brake pads were close to needing a replacement and pointed that out to me. I had already set that up and was just waiting on new pads, but it showed that they're on the ball and observant, which I appreciate. They weren't pushy about it, I'm sure they would have given me a great price for the work, but I already had it set-up with my mechanic. Tires and brakes are important, it's where the rubber literally meets the road, and stopping your car is more important than making it go! I appreciated them looking out for my safety. We arrived at about 4:30pm (shop closes at 5pm). They advised we needed a new radiator. They scheduled us for first am the next morning. They patched us up so we could drive to a nearby hotel (walking distance). They made recommendations for hotels and restaurants. We were able to drop the vehicle off first thing in the morning. We walked back to the hotel until check out. There was a dog park about 3-4 blocks from the shop... and a starbucks. They had us back on the road that afternoon. While it's quite easy to get frustrated because of the unexpected cost of a repair and a hotel, they were great. The crew kept us updated on the timeline. Their fee's are in-line with what shops charge. They did not price gouge. When you are at the mercy of car repairs it is a fear. The team at SB T/S were professional and worked hard to get us back on the road. We are grateful.

I chose them because I lived across the street, so obviously this was especially convenient given it would involve leaving my car there. Now, I drive 5 miles across town to them--hassle and expensive Uber ride!!--because they are worth it. I wanted to highlight their HONESTY: The time finally came this summer for me to decide whether I wanted to keep putting money into my 10-year old Audi or buy a new car. After he diagnosed *several* issues with my car that would have ultimately cost me near $3k, Steve recommended I just get a new car--and not only that, but to get a Japanese car rather than another German one so that I could save on future repairs. Obviously none of that would have been in an auto-repair shop's best interest, so I just really appreciated the honesty (and consistency...Steve had actually given me the same advice before, I just didn't listen back then!). Also, Steve didn't charge me for any of the above diagnostics. Anyway, I did a total 180 on my car search thanks to Steve's advice and brought home my new Lexus today. I was given explanations and promises that did not match what actually happened. After the repairs, the vehicle was in even worse condition than before, which is completely unacceptable. The customer service was also terrible. Communication was poor, the staff were unhelpful, and they did not seem to take my concerns seriously. Instead of resolving the problem, I ended up spending more time and money dealing with additional issues. Overall, this was a very frustrating and expensive experience. I expected professional service and honest communication, but unfortunately received neither. If you decide to use this shop, I strongly recommend getting everything in writing and getting a second opinion before authorizing any major repairs.

The best service. I had a flat tire that I needed to have…read morereplaced, but unfortunately it was on Memorial Day. Luckily American Tire Depot was open. I came in with my daughter, but her wheelchair took up the entire trunk, so I did not put my old tire with the rim in the car. Obviously, that rim was essential. Seeing that this was already a difficult situation for my daughter to have to wait through, Peter offered to pick up the old tire from across town. They replaced my tire, aligned my wheels and provided me with service that was above and beyond to such a degree,that I still can't quite process it. Just so much grace and kindness. I will definitely be going back there for my next set of tires.
