The seating is a little odd here (not a great setup for high chairs), but the ambience is very chic, and we enjoyed being in the space almost as much as we enjoyed eating. Our server was kind enough to advise that we shouldn't give our three-year-old daughter any curry (not realizing that she loves spice). It took a little bit of convincing to get her to allow us to order the curry, but it was nice of her to be concerned. I will say that much of the menu is definitely on the pricey side. I ordered the Regular Fish & Chips Dinner ($24), which came with two nice-sized pieces of fish, french fries, coleslaw, and a generous bowl of clam chowder. The chowder was very good, and I also really enjoyed both the fries and coleslaw. I added the fried shrimp for $4, which I thought was actually a bargain. The shrimp were nicely prepared, and both the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce served with the meal were very good. Three others in our party also had the Regular Fish & Chips ($24 each), while another colleague ordered the Coconut Crusted entrée ($50), which she enjoyed very much. We also shared Onion Rings ($10). For my drink, I had a Blackberry Lemonade ($4.50 -- $4 for the lemonade plus 50¢ for blackberry), which was very tasty. We finished with dessert. I had the Key Lime Slice ($9), which I thought was average. Two of my colleagues ordered the Crème Brûlée ($9 each) and both said it was very good, although the portions were definitely on the smaller side. We also had an Ice Cream ($5). The only real knock on our visit was the service. Our server that evening simply wasn't very friendly and seemed to be going through the motions rather than making us feel particularly welcome. Maybe she was just having a bad night--it happens--and I doubt that experience is necessarily representative of the restaurant overall. Despite the service issue and somewhat high prices, the quality of the seafood, the clam chowder, the sides, and the pleasant, clean atmosphere made this a solid four-star experience for me.
