Upon entry, I believe I was met with a cashier by the name of Noah. He was so pleasant and vibrant explaining all the different bakery items and everything that went into the coffees that we requested. There were so many items to choose from. I was so overwhelmed, but by the time I walked out, I walked away with some goodies. The coffees were delicious and so were the bakery items. I really enjoyed how this place was open on a Sunday, as where I'm from most of the bakeries and cafés are generally closed on Sundays and Mondays; so it was nice to be able to find a really good coffee and a muffin on a Sunday afternoon. I will definitely come back anytime I'm in this area.

As a returning customer, I was disappointed by my recent experience…read more I placed an order for a themed birthday cake and put down an $87.50 ($175 total) deposit. After leaving, I realized the pricing felt very high for a simple 1-tier cake serving 8 people, so I contacted the bakery within less than an hour to cancel the order before any work had begun. Despite the immediate cancellation request, I was told the deposit was completely non-refundable and could only be applied toward a future purchase. I fully understand businesses having policies, but customer service and reasonable flexibility matter -- especially for repeat customers and cancellations made almost immediately after ordering. Instead of working toward a fair resolution, I was simply referred back to the policy. The cakes may be beautiful, but unfortunately this experience left a bad impression and made me feel more like a transaction than a valued customer.

What makes the cakes different is they are not make from remade mixes the owner told me. They make all the cakes from scratch. All products are made to order, this is not a walk-in bakery and why it is small with no ambiance. All the products are can be seen online. You place your order on the phone and pick it up in person. The cakes are larger than the average cake at great prices. Our favorite is the light and fluffy cheesecake and the Chocolate Mousse cake with real whipped creme icing and filling. We buy these cakes for personal and office parties because everyone loves the products that come from the Bake Zone when compared to other products.
