09/14 I have been to this Baskin Robbins at 166 New Hyde…read morePark Rd in Franklin Square many times and I am sorry to say that my past visits were so underappreciated until I visited other Basking Robbins inside of DD. This Baskin Robbins is an ice cream fortress, offering the classic 31 flavors plus nine more. After visiting places that only gave me twelve options, I honestly don't know how I ever settled for less. I suppose I'll be spending more time here just to make up for all the moments I deprived myself of so many D'licious-tasting flavors. Walking inside the owner greeted me with genuine enthusiasm and welcomed me with authentic joy as he introduced forty flavors of deliciousness. I could not help but to notice the shop was immaculate and everything was in its proper place. I ordered the Banana Royale, it is almost like the Banana Split but the difference is the size and the number of scoops. The Banana Royale consisted of 1 scoop of Biscoff flavor and 1 scoop of Coffee flavor, almonds were my choice for nuts and they do have almonds and pecans, a banana, whip cream, strawberry, and topped off with a cherry, I did not add any syrup. I have never had the Biscoff flavored ice cream, but I must tell you, this was a really D'licious treat, almost tasting like a mixture of caramel and a graham cracker. I will not be buying any ice cream from the combined DD/ BR any longer. This Baskin Robbins has stolen my heart, my desires and satisfied my tastebuds. I am just anticipating my return to visit. I highly recommend this Baskin Robbins. So come by this location or any location that's in your area that has 31 plus flavors and experience the joy. And ...... Inspire more, Yelp more!

Along with…read moreclassic flavors like pistachio, chocolate brownie, and rum raisin, there's also a lot of fun/unique flavors like lavender honey, oatmeal cookie, and cereal milk. There's also seasonal looking ones like street corn and chocolate chipotle. The options here are plenty! The quality of the ice cream is rich and well balanced. It's close to the quality and flavor of the infamous Salt & Straw in the city. While creamy, the flavors were bold and the texture of each serving we tried were smooth and rich. The chocolate mocha coffee toffee was my favorite on this trip, followed by the oatmeal cookie with its chunks of soft cookie and delightful hints of cinnamon. The Cookie Monster tasted like a frozen cookie and milk treat, though out of the 4 flavors we had it was the most subtle. Still a tasty treat nonetheless. The German chocolate cake was rich in chocolate and the bites of walnut and coconut were perfectly sized. I would definitely add some brownie toppings to it next time for some fun cake texture. All in all, this is a great place to stop by for some ice cream. The staff is super nice and the place looks well kept. A real good find indeed!

Visit Date: January 3, 2024…read more I came here with my family after we ate breakfast at the diner for my dad's birthday. I looked around at all the offerings and finally chose one of my usual favorites a linzer tart. When I ate it later in the day it was good but kind of dry. I don't know if that's the bakery's fault though in general these pastries are on the dry side. I also ate it much later in the day when it was less fresh instead of eating it right away so that could have been it too. I would come back to this bakery again!
