The Banana Split that I got was yummy. It also had pineapple, strawberries, cherries and 2 scoops of ice cream in a cup with whip cream. The Coffee shake was good as well. The young man behind the counter was friendly. We sat outside at the tables near by and armed with napkins enjoyed our desserts. A woman worker came by and asked if we needed the table cleaned. As it was clean I said no and thanked her for her diligence. As everything in the Mall area was clean. They do accept credit cards and the unit asks if you wish to tip. I do not recall if there was an additional fee for credit card use though I believe it was not. Our experience there was good as was the tasty ice cream.

I was even able to email him a photo of the style I wanted for the cake and it was replicated exactly as I wanted! I also asked him the size of the box to make sure it could fit in my freezer and FYI, the size is as follows: approximately 18"x13"x5". A deposit of $20 was needed which was fine with me. The remaining balance (~$60) was paid at pickup and the cake was ready at the time discussed. My family had previously gone to this location a month prior to order some delicious Flying Saucers when they had a promo going on and the lady that was working that day was also very pleasant, helpful and patient with us. They have a lot of options in general and I was even surprised at some of their unique flavors of pre-packaged ice creams! Prices were reasonable as I've been to other Carvel locations where prices were quite high. Overall, I am very happy with this particular location and would highly recommend them! They have a free parking lot out front that's shared with the other stores in the strip mall they're in.

I just wanted vanilla and chocolate, the classic taste of ice cream and cake. So I found a perfect vanilla and chocolate ice cream cake. My stepdaughter liked it too! The taste? Unbelievably creamy! This is a joint BR and Dunkin Donuts joint on the corner of LI ave and Commack Rd…read more I stopped in here to get a birthday cake for Mom and luckily found what I was looking for: ice cream cake with actual CAKE inside (not just ice cream). There was only one size (6" round ) left with the cake inside (turns out this was perfect anyway...). I brought it to the counter and asked if it was possible to have writing on the cake as it was kinda small. The employee asked "What do you want it to say" I replied "Happy Birthday" Employee: "How about Happy B-day?" (light and funny tone) Me: "Sure" Employee: "Who is it for?" Me: "My mom" With that he disappears with the cake as I pay for it. (I also had a $3 coupon for the cake...SCORE!). He brings the cake back and beautifully written in the cake is "Happy Birthday Mom"! He did an amazing job :) I even gave him a high-five! LOL Kudos to him and the rest of the employees for making this a pleasurable experience!
