My friend had been telling him for at least a year that she was in pain and that her legs felt like mush. He ordered x-rays and blood tests. After getting the results back, Dr. Meyerhoff, if you can call him a doctor, sent my friend home with a diagnosis of vitamin A deficiency. When she went in to see him, she could hardly breath and could barely walk, and he still sent her home. She had to call 911 two days after her office visit with him and she never came home again. She entered the hospital on 9/11/24 and passed away 11/5/24. She was full of cancer!!!! He even had the nerve to say her lungs were clear, her lungs were full of cancer along with her liver!!!! Now, I don't know about anyone else, but when I call someone my "Personal Physician" I kind of expect that I should be able to get leave a message in a timely manner. Meyerhoff used to be that way. I could call and within minutes I would be speaking to a member of his staff. Not anymore. So Brian, this is goodbye. On all occasions that I have been to see Dr Mark Shalauta he has been willing to spend adequate time to explain information to me, listen to any concerns and provide solutions and answers to my questions. He really listens to what you have to say which is a big positive in my book in regards to a doctor. I am so impressed with him that I have changed my daughter over to him from her pediatrician as I was not feeling a connection with that doctor.
