I had an appointment today at Poway Honda Service Center. ALVARO helped me - the car needed service…read moremaintenance and discovered some other things needing attention. Alvaro explained what was needed, told me the pricing and estimated time. Since it was going to need some time, Alvaro arranged a ride for me with TANIA so I didn't have to wait several hours. I appreciate the kindness and thoughtfulness of Alvaro and Tania to make sure that I was able to get the car work completed and be comfortable during the process. They even made sure that I would be picked up when the work was completed. Tania noticed that the car needed a wash and took care of that for me, I really appreciate the gesture. Great customer service by Alvaro, Tania and mechanic Jorge! Thank you for your efforts!

I chose Poway Honda SOLELY because of the absolute unmatched quality of care I received from MICKEY. I was actually in the market over a year ago when I met Mickey but didn't pull the trigger as I wasn't quite ready. Now that I was ready Mickey came to my mind automatically and I called him to make an appointment. From start to finish he was there with his one of a kind personality, caring heart and gentle spirit. Please ask for Mickey when coming to this dealership you will be so happy you did. and CHRISTIAN I could not have felt more comfortable and at ease. His calm demeanor through the finance aspect of the sale was truly stress free. Thank you, Christian! Last but not least TYREE thank you for walking me through the final paperwork and making sure I felt comfortable with the last part of the deal and that I completely understood what I was signing. Although we couldn't finalize a deal on the car I wanted, the experience was exceptional--especially compared to other dealerships that often use gimmicks and hidden extras to push a sale. Wesley and his team were refreshingly honest and professional. Here's what stood out: --Prompt Communication: Wesley was extremely responsive to my calls and texts, which made the process smooth and stress-free. --Transparency: He was very straightforward and transparent with the numbers--no hidden surprises, which is rare in today's auto market. --Customer Focus: Wesley listened carefully to what I was looking for and genuinely tried his best to work out a deal that fit my needs. --In-Person Interaction: When I met him at the dealership, his pleasant smile and warm personality left a great impression. --Team Support: Wesley had Khaled show me the car and explain all the features. Khaled was equally impressive--friendly, approachable, and very knowledgeable. I'm still working with Wesley to see if we can make a deal, and based on this experience, I would highly recommend reaching out to him if you're considering Hyundai.

Had to Threaten Litigation to Get Resolution - I am happy with the car I bought from Pedder Hyundai…read moreof Poway, and they were responsive and helpful during the purchase. However, I found three substantive omissions/issues after returning home - representing over $2,800 in purchased items and including a required tax document - and contacted Pedder to resolve them. Had they worked with me to do so in a reasonable time, I would be leaving them a 4- or even 5-star review right now. Instead, I ended up having to spend dozens of hours of my time over six months and threatening litigation to finally get resolution. Pedder was non-responsive over several weeks and my many attempts to contact them after the purchase - including phone calls, texts, and emails to each of the people who had worked with me, plus a written request for a phone call with the general manager (or anyone who could help) explaining that they were about to give me no choice but to escalate matters. I then filed a case with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and, after several more weeks of their and my work, frustratingly still had no resolution to the main issue - namely, lack of any documentation or proof of activation for the car's security system, which Pedder told me was an already built-in feature of the car and working, and which I had paid $1,695 in cash for - but which the security system company was telling me was actually NOT active on my car. It then took me writing Pedder a letter demanding a refund for what I had discovered was essentially a fraudulent $1,695 sale - and threatening litigation if necessary - to finally get a response. Pedder finally admitted that they had never installed/activated the system (!) - despite our purchase contract and their stating repeatedly since that they had. (Thankfully they decided to issue the refund instead of being taken to small claims court.) I couldn't help but ask the manager who was assigned to call me "I've got to ask: is this really how you all do business?!" My issues were straight-forward and should have been resolved by any competent dealership relatively quickly. I'd expect to lose my job or business if I treated my customers as dismissively as Pedder did me. I hope I never have to interact with them again.
