The store was really nicely laid out and super clean. They had a decent amount of product including a large clearance section. We went when the whole store was 40% off and the clearance was an additional 50%. All of the salespeople were so incredibly kind. They helped us with the dressing rooms, signing up for their sales emails and giving us information about their clothing. When we went the store was empty except from us. I hope this doesn't reflect the success of the store because I cannot wait to go back to this store.

Yes, Simon Properties did just "put it in a chapter" and let the creditors sell it off to a new mall company. And, yes, it's not what it once was during its glory days. But from news reports and comments from friends, I was under the impression that when I stopped by the mall, it would be a ghost town: a veritable trip through the ruins of capitalism past. Instead, I found that it's still a pretty decent mall, and that while it's not in its long-ago glory days, there's at least as much in it now as there's been for quite some time. The mall has all the mall staples, a decent food court, several other attached restaurants. It's getting less traffic than some of the other malls in the area, but if you're looking to do some basic mall shopping and avoid crowds, I think it's just fine.

The prices are always reasonable, which is why my wife and I buy certain things here. For me, it's their boxers and tank tops. For my wife it's their workout clothes and sweaters. Some negatives from a recent visit. The store was absolutely trashed. I'm not talking about a few shirts on the ground. I'm talking about dozens of clothing items on the floor in a single section. Like a full layer of clothes across the floor below each of the racks. You'd think they'd put enough staff onthat someone could at least collect what fell on the floor. Also, one kid seemed annoyed that he had to call next when there was a register available. You realize we can see an open register 30-40 feet away with when there's 10 people standing in the way. Overall they have good deals, but there usually a small hassle, whether it's the lines to pay or try on clothes, the mess of the displays, or grumpy customer service. Just not the best location.

HOWEVER, Old Navy (at least the one in Airport Square) mixes sale and non-sale item on racks labelled 30% and 50% off. So, the person picking up the clothes assumes all items on the rack are on sale. That turned out to be not true. I did not find out until I got the register. When I asked the woman behind the counter, she seemed surprised that I thought all the items on the rack would be on sale. VERY DECEPTIVE PRACTICES. Please be aware of this as you will have to put half the clothes back unless you are willing to pay full price. Will not be returning to Old Navy.
