I walked in and was greeted by a couple of employees. One lady was familiar to me as I remembered her from a prior visit to store, her name was Laurel. I walked around with my bag in the cuff of my elbow. This one particular employee who did not greet me kept looking at me, as I walked past her she was trying to look in my Jos. A. Banks bag as I walked by, it was freaking obvious. I stopped at a rack and looked at the clothes and guess who was close by. As I went to the counter to pay for the various earrings that I was going to purchase, oh the bill came up to $175.00, the associate was at the counter talking to another customer who was checking out. As I finished my sale, I asked Laurel and the dark haired assoc. who the woman was and she said that her name was "Liz, she's the owner". I told them that I wasn't feeling her and that she was trying to look inside my bag as I walked by. Liz made me feel very uncomfortable today. I guessed she assumed that because I'm a BLACK female that I was going to steal. I left the store and was hurt and angry. I still may call up to the store. Liz made my usually happy experience a stomach turning experience today. This was the first time I saw her as I have not seen her in the store on previous visits. I have been to the Skippack location which is closer to my house in the past with NO issues. This is the first time that I was humiliated at the Horsham store which is close to my job. I love the merchandise at Head Over Heels but it's not worth the humiliation of being followed or looked at suspiciously. Sadly this will probably be my LAST visit at the Horsham location. I may be done completely especially if Liz is the owner of all of these stores. Racism is alive and real.

As the doors open you're hit with a strong leather smell and if you like that, well, you're in for fun. The front of the store has shelf after shelf of boots arranged by size. these are western /cowboy boots and come from plain at around$140 to tooled to painted to freaking ostrich skin at around $450. As i walked around I noted they also sell the polishes and creams needed to maintain boots and keep them clean so they want you to keep these in good trim for the long haul. The clothes they sell also have a strong western them in jeans, shirts and vests and I was hard pressed to find fault as all have a high cotton content and feel nice to the touch, unlike so many similar clothes found in the near-by mall that look nice but have a less pleasant feel. The staff is helpful but not obsequious. So, you don't feel ignored but neither do you feel smothered by them. I was actually looking for something to complain about. mentally I was thinking 5 star? but I can't. They don't have rubber boots! Yes they do. They don't have hiking boots! Yes they do. In the end the store runs to an aggressively western theme but they also have modern work/hiking/rain boots as well as stylish cowboy boots. They do not have European style riding boots, chukka boots or suede desert boots, so Clark's still has a reason to hang around but otherwise if you're looking for good boot etc this is the place to stop off. Heck if they'd had the brown drover's rain coat in my size I'd have to be explaining the purchase to my wife.

This store has been a game changer for me. I have always been a bigger woman. Six years ago I had a double mastectomy. For years, I have struggled to find fashionable clothes that I feel attractive in. My first experience with LO was at their Quakertown store. Not only does this store have beautiful clothes, but the owner Stacey Dill and her fantastic staff are knowledgeable and willing to help you find the perfect outfit. Their clothes are unique, stylish, and a good quality for the price. I can't tell you how many compliments I get when I am wearing LO. Also, because it is a boutique they offer a limited number of certain pieces so not everyone in town is wearing the same thing that you are. No more going to a wedding or party to find you are wearing that same dress from Kohl's as 3 others ladies! They carry clothes for all ages and all sizes! You can purchase items directly from their Facebook VIP page if you don't have time to get into the shop. LO is not just a store...they are a fantastic addition to the community. LO offers fun events like Sip and Shops, weekly live sales, trunk shows, monthly drawings, fashion events, and they participate in community events both in Quakertown and Souderton. I have been to this store many many times, and i have a Daughter and a Daughter in law. And this place has everything to help me brighten their day. The first time i went in is because I was stuck at the traffic light, and looked in their window, and there was this Mermaid Tee, Well I have a co worker that is or believes she is a Mermaid, so I stopped in the store. Not only did I get Kelsey the Mermaid Tee, but a matching reusable cup. They nicely wrapped it, and Kelsey was ecstatic. Since then I look forward to getting stuck in traffic to see what they have, the window changes alot. I normally do not buy for coworkers, but it was a must have purchase. The sales people are friendly and try to make you feel like your at home. But not in a pushy way. Such an incredible and unique store located right in the heart of quakertown and souderton, pa. Both locations have such inviting, happy and outgoing staff that are always willing to help you style an outfit or point you in the right direction. Stacy, the owner sure knows what she is doing, and has an eye for fashion, but also a way of empowering women in the workforce!! I came across LO about a year ago and I can't say it enough, this is the best place I've ever shopped. I enjoy watching the live sales and following the Facebook group to see what else I can buy. The sweaters are absolutely amazing and are so comfortable, it's like wearing butter. The Kan Can jeans are amazing also, and the best jean I own. I absolutely love this boutique. Most of the time I follow the VIP group online and purchase from there. It's just easier when you're busy, however, the boutique is darling and clean. Great models/girls that work there. Wonderful owner. Professional and kind. Great sense of humor. Fabulous customer service. Awesome clothing and they have all sizes not just small petite girl sizes. I went into the Souderton store for the first time in awhile and the girl working was coloring on the floor with two other kids and asked my daughter if she wanted to come draw with them. Here you can pick up a beautiful shirt or sweater that will make an outfit (and potentially cause heads to swivel). Unlike other boutiques, Linda's carries lines that you will not see everywhere (and definitely not at major department stores). While the clothes have attitude (or at least a point of view), the sales associates do not. They have been gracious and helpful every time I stop in. If you want assistance or a candid opinion, they will provide it; if you just want to browse, they will not hover. Linda's is an "old school" boutique in the best possible way.

I had already checked out another place and didn't feel like I found "the one", so when my…read moresister-in-law suggested "Yes to the Dress", I figured why not. Madison was very nice and worked with me to find the perfect dress. She defiantly had a nice personal touch, even saying that she would come with me to make sure that the dress was altered perfectly. She said that the dress would come in the first week of June (a little over a month before the wedding). It would be little close, but not bad, keeping in mind that the dress would also need to be tailored. We also ordered to flower girl dresses from them because, they complemented my dress so well. A few months go by and the flower girls dresses were supposed to be delivered. Both myself and my sister-in-law (mother of my flower girls) called as well as stopped by to see when the dresses would be in. Every time, the date we were told, would always be moved back. This didn't make me feel good about my dress, because we were cutting it close to begin with. In the end the dresses came in about three weeks late. Of course, the first week of June came and went. Calls were made and estimates of shipping dates were given, but it kept being moved back, again. It wasn't until seventeen days before the wedding, when I called, that I was told that my dress had been in for days. Madison's assistant told me that my sister-in-law must have missed the message she left. That is impossible, she was more excited about the dress than I was, but I did double check with her (no phone call or message was ever left). I made an appointment, fifteen days left, to see how the dress fit. The personal touch from Madison, that I got when I first tried on my dress, was gone. Madison popped in long enough to see how the dress looked. I made an appointment, with her assistant, to go to the tailor. I would meet her at the store ten minutes ahead of time. She would not only drive me there, but she would also carry the dress for me. I came back, ten days before the wedding, expecting Madison's assistant to be ready to take me to the appointment. I saw her in the other room busy with a bride (I already knew what was coming). Madison told me that her assistant couldn't take me and that she was in the middle of doing inventor. She wrote down the directions, wished me good luck, and told me to send her pictures of the dress. I was shocked, but headed to LT Alterations. My sister-in-law was already there getting the flower girl dresses altered (later she said I looked confused and sad when I walked in). We got the dresses figured out, apparently Madison didn't tell her how close the wedding was, but she said she could get it done. Two day before the wedding, I got my dress. The alter was great, but the bustle seemed I little confusing....ok...really confusing. Thirteen white ties made of sheer fabric that she couldn't find during her bustle tying lesson. On the day of the wedding I had three, very patient and loving friends, up my dress for a half hour trying to figure out the bustle. They couldn't find all the little ties or maybe some of them fell off (the tailor said they were delicate). It took the event coordinator, with a handful of pins, to finally get me bustled. I loved my dress, but the games they played with me I could never recommend this business to an blushing bride-to-be.
