I'd just say that there was/is debris from getting my windshield changed. Some on the dashboard and a splatter of the glue on the hood of the car. I hope that washes off easily. Waiting area story time: As I'm waiting in the waiting area, someone is having a phone call on speaker phone. That's not the most considerate, yes, but I don't know how long they've been waiting. One of the staff, then, hangs up a passive aggressive sign saying that people should not be on speakerphone in the waiting room. I find this rude considering the staff member didn't even address the customer. Just hung up the sign to guilt the customer outside. Thankfully, it's decent weather out. Also, the check in area is weird. It's a big opening and there are two desks. Instead of getting up to address people, you have to yell for the staff to hear you. And you have bad luck if two people are checking in at the same time. We were basically yelling over each other to be heard because the staff weren't getting up from their desks. Restructure the check in area so it's not so rude and an issue. Infomercial on the TV my entire waiting time. Ugh. If I need this service again, I'm just going to ask them to come to me. The office is not pleasant for reasons above. But I'm guessing their mobile service does much better.

We were greeted like we were old friends which put us immediately at ease. The office was small but very clean with a big display case on the wall which kept my grandson busy looking at all of the model cars in it. It took about 15 minutes for the inspection and we set up an appointment which was only a few days away. Drop off was quick and easy with all of the procedures and probable time frames explained again just as they were at the estimate. I was kept informed of the progress of the repair by text which I really appreciated. When the repairs were done, I was notified by phone. The truck was parked close by in the lot so I was able to check out the work before going into the office. All of the damages were repaired in a fantastic way. The work was beautifully done. Check out was quick and easy (except for the copay which wasn't their fault). All of my questions were answered and the insurance paperwork completed quickly. I hope I never again need a collision shop but if I do this is where I'll go. There is no one better.

A day before I was supposed to leave to go visit family for our Christmas gathering, my rear glass…read morewas blown out. A national chain couldn't get the work done for over a week! I stopped into West Herr Auto Glass in Williamsville and I was absolutely blown away by my experience. I was greeted by Julia who ran point as my service advisor. She explained every step of the process to me so that I understood what was going on. She even recommended a decent place to get breakfast while I waited. Becky handled getting the fix transferred to West Herr Auto Glass from the national chain and managed that whole process with my auto insurer herself. Brian explained the issue with the windshield wiper that was encountered. And I have to mention that Julia, Becky, and Brian were understanding, excellent communicators, very friendly and personable, and frankly blew me away with their professionalism, understanding and execution of the business and how they handled me as a customer. Needless to say, Julia, Becky, and Brian made a lifelong car West Herr Auto Glass customer out of me that day. They got me back on the road to work as a part time rideshare driver and more importantly, they enabled me to get home to see my family to celebrate Christmas together 2 hours away; a drive that would have been extremely difficult to do with a blown out rear window. I always thought it was unusual -- who would be out shopping for clothes and think, "Oh yeah, I've got a chip that should be repaired"? Some years later, I found myself with an annoying and potentially dangerous stone chip, about half the diameter of a bb. Worryingly, two cracks appeared to be increasing in length away from the center, about half an inch on each side. I finally figured I should take care of it before it gets worse. Instead of going to the mall, I decided to search Yelp for a highly recommended, locally owned business. That's how I found Frontier Glass. I've been familiar with their name, but hadn't done business with them. As usual, Yelpers did not steer me wrong. I phoned in the morning, and they asked me to stop by so they could take a look. I showed up just before 4:30 -- I knew they closed at 5 and worried I might be too late. They took me in right way, gave the chip a look over, explained how the windshield is constructed and how the procedure works. They advised that there was always a chance that the cracks could get worse once they pumped resin into them. I said I'd take my chances -- it was either that or I was looking at (through?) a new windshield. 15 minutes and $50 later, I could barely see where the chip was. Great customer service, quality work, reasonable prices, local, woman-owned business. 5-stars on all points.
