Willie is genuinely one of the kindest, most honest, trustworthy, and caring business owners I've ever met. Every single time, he has gone above and beyond, even taking care of extra things like polishing scuffs at no charge. He doesn't just treat you like a customer; he truly makes you feel like family. The entire team--James, Jennifer, Maria, Matthew, and Roberto--has always been wonderful and caring as well. Excellent work is important, but honesty, integrity, and genuine kindness are much harder to find. Willie and his team have all of these qualities. After 25 years, I still trust them completely and highly recommend Car Care Auto Body!

Had to go to an auto body shop after someone rear-ended me while driving my husband's truck. AAA…read morehad recommended this place, so I checked it out on yelp and decided to try it out. The main downside is they are so busy that at the time of the estimate, they were only available two weeks later. They did mention that someone would be able to give my husband a ride after he dropped off the truck, since they would probably be able to fix it within a day. We worked with Mario, and he was friendly. Loved the interior of the place and it's quite a contrast from what it looks like on the outside and the general area. Strangely, on the day of the appointment, when my husband asked about a ride back to our house, which is only a mile away, Mario said that he wouldn't be able to do it. Seems like mixed information, since he mentioned he would be able to do that when he gave me the estimate. If you end up getting a rental car, this won't be an issue for you, but if it's minor damage that they could take care of in a day, this is something to consider. The location is a bit awkward. You have to drive all the way into an area that almost feels like an alleyway. When you exit, it is a quick merge, so have your wits about you, otherwise you might get into another car accident lol. The truck itself looks great! They actually cleaned the interior of my husband's truck as well, which is an added bonus.

I had a very frustrating and uncomfortable experience at Crash Champions Collision Repair Los…read moreGatos. I came in for a repair after being rear-ended, expecting guidance and support through the insurance process. Instead, I was repeatedly told that none of the accident-related damage would be covered because I had a small pre-existing dent on my bumper (something minor that could likely be fixed easily). The representative insisted multiple times that I would have to pay for everything out of pocket and dismissed my request to have them coordinate with my insurance. When I explained that the damage from the accident should still be evaluated and handled through insurance, I was again told--without any real effort to verify--that insurance would not cover it. I was essentially told they would not work on my car unless I agreed to pay out of pocket. What made the situation worse was the sudden shift in behavior. The moment I called my boyfriend to come over, the representative's tone completely changed. He then said he would take photos and reach out to insurance, which made the earlier refusal even more concerning. Because of how I was treated, I do not feel comfortable returning. The experience felt dismissive and inconsistent, and I expected a much higher level of professionalism--especially when dealing with customers after an accident.

a terrible 5 year experience with mike…read more i knew mikes father who owned john's bascom automotive since i was a child. he was friends with my mother and father. our family recommended john's b.a. to our friends, family, neighbors and employees. i have always taken my nissan hardbody truck to him for all of its needs. he did an excellent job every time. that all ended as soon as his son mike took over. i took my truck to mike 5 years ago. five years he made up excuses as to why our truck was not finished. waiting for parts, can't find parts , covid stress, vacation, problems at home. the list never ended with mike. what mike never mentioned to use over those five years was that our truck (according to mike) was broken into by a homeless person. how did we find out about the break in ? the interior was covered with glass when my husband picked it up from mike. mike never called us to tell us it was broken into. mike never reported the break in to the police. mike charged us for a dashboard that was not damaged when we dropped it off 5 years earlier. it was fine when we left the truck with mike. here is the insult to injury... we dropped off our truck for new hoses and gaskets . 5 years later we have a truck that still has damages from the break in , sun roof damage, leaking sun roof, badly sun burned window trims, ugly replacement dashboard/speedometer , broken camper shell latches and carpet that smells like urine, feces and mildew. i am disgusted with mike for keeping the truck for 5 years. i am disgusted that he never reported the break in to the police and kept that information from us for a year or two. i am disgusted that he had the audacity to threaten my husband with a daily charge of $3.00 a day storage fee for having our truck on his lot waiting to be repaired when we were upset with him keeping our vehicle for 5 years. i am disgusted with all of the messages he left telling us he was fixing our truck. (i'm glad i kept all of his voicemails and texts.) mike is a liar and a terrible mechanic. mike is nothing like his father. shame on you mike ! if you leave your vehicle with john's bascom automative you are doing so at your own risk . i think i will have my truck wrapped with this yelp review and drive it like that forever.
