He will take care of you but you have to wait your turn in line . Bought a trailer , paint was messed up cause they get their shipments with the trailers stacked on one another . Went in today to to purchase receiver ball for a trailer hitch. TJ was extremely helpful and had a handlebar mustache that's clearly the envy of any man who's ever tried to grow one. TJ hooked me up with the proper hitch assembly to tow our 11,500 lb. Travel Trailer and did so without trying to upsell me on a bigger or unnecessary product. An even bigger bonus was that they carried a hose pressure regulator and a 50 AMP to 30 AMP adapter, no need to go all the way to Camping World. I prefer to do business with other small businesses, and Carson Trailers is definitely a place where you get personalized service at a reasonable price. I really wanted to give them a better review and even tried to give the owner a chance to make it right, but unfortunately he didn't make good on his promises and we spent a lot of money for sub par work (almost5k) and more damage then when we brought it in. We took our toy hauler in to have the roof redone last April and it wasn't done correctly. We tarped it in anticipation of rain( they left the tarps off) then they let rain get in and get the floor and the mattress' wet. When the roof was done, it still leaked and once we got it home we realized that not only did it still leak but both our bunk mattress And master mattress were wasted as well as the wood underneath. I talked my husband into giving the owner a chance to make it right and he promised he'd handle it all. Our camper sat for weeks, they slapped some more sealer on top. We finally had enough and just went to pick it up. The old mattress' were still in it, we threw them away ourselves at their shop ( he has going to take care of it blah blah). Got up on the roof, they sealed our light down so it no longer rotates. I'm leaving a lot out because if I really went into all the other complete lack of workmanship and quality I'd be writing forever. I truly hope he finds better employees. I recommend you go somewhere else or at the very Least give him a clear checklist and make him sign it and record him. There is so much more but I'll let My husband go into all that. I'm over it honestly.I'm super bummed because we read such great things and then this... guess we will just do the work ourselves for now on. read more

I went in to the Carson trailer location on 6th street in Norco. I met with TJ and told him what I was looking for, he said he had 3 trailers To choose from. I picked one of the trailers out but told him that it had some scratches that need to be taken care of, TJ said he can take care of that right away. While I was in the office taking care of the paperwork he had his people prepare the trailer and touch up all of the paint scratches on the trailer. This was a new trailer and the scratches were only there because of the way they transport their equipment from the factory to the dealer. TJ was 100% professional, honest and had a absolute desire to make my purchase experience the best he could. Taking the extra drive to Norco was well worth it. Been dealing with the manager TOMMY there for a couple of weeks about a 2011 DV202 toy Hauler they have on the lot. The Trailer was the first on Carson made and does not appear in NADA. It has been on their lot since Jan. 2011. So its almost 3 years old. But TOMMY told me it had a 1 yr warranty on it. I had an enclosed trailer from Apache I wanted to trade in TOMMY offered me $3500 for it and told him I'd take it, then he backed out of the deal saying Carson wouldn't let him buy it and Carson didn't take trade ins.So I contacted LOREN at the dealership in Las vegas and he offered me $2500 as a trade in for the trailer and then told me that he had trained TOMMY and TOMMY had taken over his lots in Corona and Beaumont. So I recontacted TOMMY and without explanation he said he take the my trailer for $2500.....So my response was...So you do take trade in, so give me the $3500 you originally offered me and he refused.......This was his first SHADY ACT. So back to the DV202.....TOMMY told me the DV202 was a factory demo and he was told originally not to sell it....just take orders for it. Then Carson decided not to manufacture it and he was told to sell it.....,The trailer has had all sorts of prices($22,950 to 19,995) on it but I was able to get them down to $16,500.00. Once they ad tax lic and their fee's it's $18,165.00. I offer them $17,500 OTD....TOMMY refuses. ok so no deal......and I leave and go sell the apache. So I put my Apache on Craigslist and sold it in a week for $4500,00......just like I told them they would. I don't mind the dealership making some profit on the deal, but I felt they were trying to screw me over big time and the private sale just proved that. So I get back ahold of TOMMY and reoffer him the $17, 500.00 OTD.......(this I over the phone) and again he refuses, says the $18,165.00 price is final and says, look dude, just buy the trailer. And wants a Credit Card over the phone for a deposit without any sales contract being written up....I tell him NO, write the sales contract up, include the warranty info and let's do it for $18,000.00 flat and I will pay the entire amount on my VISA....the FULL $18,000.00 on my VISA. He agree's which makes me think the kids retarded.......he won't do the deal before for $17,500 but is willing to take a Credit Card for the full amount.....The Bak Charges the vendor for using a Credit Card and I also get Cash back on my VISA purchases......so it's coming out pretty close to what it would have been as a cash deal at $17,500. Anyway, so TOMMY emails me a had written funky looking sales agreement that says CARSON ONLY WARRANTS the FRAME and CHASSIS..........WTF ? Frames and chassis are NEVER a problem with Toy haulers its all the components that are in the toy hauler like the AC, heater, water pump, Microwave, oven, electrical system that need the warranty because that's what goes on them...... I question TOMMY on that and he says CARSONdoesn't warranty that stuff on their OLDER TRAILERS...........SHADY ACT No. 2 so I told him he could stick his deal and the trailer and that's that ! In dealing with this guy I felt I was dealing with a very dishonest guy, I don't know that he is, but he sure was with me. And I will NEVER deal with CARSON or this guy again. Had my boat trailer completely re-done by these guys and came out great! They painted it, re-wired it, installed LED lights, new rollers, winch, tires and wheels, the whole 9 yards! I couldn't recognize it anymore when I picked up and several months later it still looks great. Price was super reasonable and it only took about a week. Never in my life have I come across a person who represents a business who is as honest, trustworthy and helpful as Tommy. There have been times where I'm broke down on the side of the road and Tommy is on vacation out of state and he STILL makes sure my trailer is taken care of quickly, correctly and in a timely manner to make sure I dont lose any business. I bought a 2012 single axel flatbed trailer and when I picked it up it had rust at the weld joints and the rear gate needed a couple of good kicks to get it open. When I was loading my UTV the next day, I noticed one of the new tires had separation cracks in the sidewall. I had to run over to a tire shop quickly and have it changed out so I could leave on time. Maybe I was expecting too much from a utility trailer, but this one appears to have really poor workmanship. read more

Just bought a 38' Trailer 5th wheel and the Bakerfield facility said to make an offer. So I did. When I arrived to purchase the trail I was not notified that the trailer had issues being pulled by a standard size 3/4 dodge 4x4. When hooking up the the trailer we found that the 5th wheel height was to high. We made an adjustment and was able to pull it home but still to low in the front. I live 8 hours away so decided bring home trailer and call the factory Monday for assistance. There comment to me was the trailer was built for a lifted 4x4 and there was nothing they could do for me and it was my problem.
