I went to my second cleaning of the year today at Carson Dental - Dr. Abraham DDS. I was so pleased with Diana, the dental assistant. She was so gentle yet ever so thorough with my cleaning. No bleeding, no pain, no screaming. This gives credence to Dr. Abraham making a concerted effort to keep all of his employees abreast of all the updated technology and methodologies in the field of dentistry. I called Carson dental because I broke my tooth and I'm new to the area. Said nothing was available until the 18th (15 days from the date of the call) for new patients unless I was in pain. I told her I was in pain and she's like well...we're booked. I asked her about her emergency services and she just repeated that they were booked for new patients. Seemed a little odd. They must treat their current clients really nice, not sure why the reviews are so high for this place. Guess I will never know and I won't be making this place by new dentist. read more

I made an appointment for my mom and took her in some time ago. They made us wait a really long time even with our appointment and they weren't the nicest by the end of the visit. I understand that it's hard to see so many patients in a day, and it's exhausting, but that shouldn't matter when it comes to treating your patients. My mom waited around 2 hours before they actually started to work on her and she felt like the numbing treatment wasn't working as well in the end. She goes to a different dentist now. It may have been an off day for them and it seems like most people are happy here, but we just had a bad experience. read more

Came in on my lunch hour for a consult. No cleaning, no work, just a second opinion. Techs were great, doctor AMAZING, I was ahead of schedule thinking maybe I had time to get something to eat and be back in time. As we finish up, (again the doctor is very passionate about my teeth, and getting me all the information I needed) I was told to wait in the chair for my estimates. So I wait... and wait... and wait... The tech was passing through for the third time tidying up my room and I asked her how much longer for those estimates. She informed me that she too had just reminded the lady I was waiting. That she knew I had been there a while. As I get up to leave, now 15 minutes over my lunch hour, the lady was still at the table, on the computer to be what looked like social media. REALLY?! She looks up at me, grabs the 2 pages of paper in the corner of her desk.. ( not just coming out of the printer ) and I tell her to call me with those estimates... I had high hopes for this place. From the moment walking and my interactions with the front desk to the techs and even after the doctor spoke to me. You lost me when the lady in the plaid skirt and Ugg boots decided to pay more attention to fb than to the patients in the office. 2k of work down the drain. And a wasted lunch break. Get a new coordinator, one that works as efficiently as the rest of the office. It really goes to show you that you really are only as strong as the weakest link. SHE IS YOUR WEAK LINK. read more

First of all, I hate dentists. My past experience with them left a bad taste in my mouth. So I haven't gone for a couple of years. One of my crowns was giving me problems recently, so I started searching for a dentist, which is cumbersome because of the variety of choices. I finally made an appointment with Carson Dental. I walked in with a friendly greeting. The x-ray process was very easy. Dr. Abraham took the time to ask me which of my teeth hurt and focused on that one. I found out that I needed a crown and root canal on that tooth and another one that was broken and needed a crown. He worked on both of them, a painstaking effort. He asked me through the whole process if I was in pain and applied more lidocaine if I felt it. His concern for my comfort reassured me that I was in competent hands. After the procedure, he prescribed me pain meds when the lidocaine wore off. Didn't need it because there was no pain. The great event was replacing my temp crowns with permanent ones. I was worried that I was going to be in much pain once the temporary ones came off. No pain and the procedure was quick and simple. The assistant made sure that the crowns fit perfectly. I was able to eat right after the procedure. I am definitely going back for my routine cleaning. read more

When we were coming out or the pandemic I wanted to find a really good place to resume dental care. I needed a cleaning and a filling. Upon meeting Dr. Abraham and the staff here I instantly felt like a person, not an ID number on an insurance card. Everyone in the office is just lovely, super helpful, really transparent with the care I'd receive, the cost, as well as options for payments (such as Cherry!) I'd always wanted veneers for my four front teeth because my teeth still looked like I was s teenager and I'm 32. Other dentists always gave me some resistance when I asked for this. When I first spoke to Dr. Abraham about it, he smiled and said "No problem! I Can do that!" Again, he and is staff were very transparent and clear on what the process would be, and what I had to do. I first went in to take pictures of my teeth, next visit I wanted to whiten my teeth (smooth process but takes a couple of hours), prior to applying the veneers. Final visit, my veneers were placed seamlessly. No pain at all from the veneers. I had such a great experience here. I'm very thankful to Dr. Abraham and his staff. I had a great experience at Carson Dental. From the moment I made a phone call to inquire about a consultation to the moment I walked in, I knew I was at the right place. I came from two other dental offices before coming here, and decided on being treated here after being thoroughly explained the options I had and what would be best for me. The receptionist and girls at the front desk greeted me and were very friendly! Then I was walked back by Saul, who took my x-rays. He made me feel very comfortable during this process. Chasity who helped explain the billing was also great, super helpful and thorough in her explaining my charges, especially for a big bill like an extraction and dental implant. Miguel, the RDA, who did my deep cleaning was amazing. He showed me my teeth before and after so I could really see the difference in the cleaning. And he checked in on me throughout, which I appreciated because dental cleanings could be very uncomfortable and sometimes painful, but he made this a smooth process for me. Dr. Abraham was phenomenal! The best doctor I have ever been to. He was so caring and I could tell that he is passionate about what he does. I really felt like he cared about me and really listened to my concerns, and wanted to help me. I really felt like he explained to me all my options really well so that I could be well informed and educated so that I can decide what is best for me. I was very nervous and scared at first, but I decided to go with getting my tooth extracted and having a dental implant. He made this process so painless and easy! Next thing you knew, the tooth was out, and the implant was in! Thank you to Maria also, the DA who helped Dr. Abraham. She was so sweet and kept making sure I was okay! Carson Dental is great! The first visit may be long; however, the staff is always checking in on you. My appointment was at 9:00 (gives you time to complete the paperwork) and X-Rays were done at 10:30. However, they have TVs that connect to Netflix at every chair so waiting isn't a problem. Dr. Abraham is great - constantly provides suggestions and asks if you have any concerns. Chastity is also great- works in the front and also in the back. I would definitely recommend. read more

I honestly don't think they should get a star? Rude customer service on the phone. I understand that consultation is needed to determine what kind of cleaning is suggested but to be put on hold for more than 10 minutes when asking : "If I had to pay out of pocket if my insurance doesn't cover, how much would a cleaning or deep cleaning can range from? " ; shouldn't be a difficult question to answer and surely not something to give an attitude about. I honestly thought I asked a clear question, It didn't make sense why they had to keep me on hold or let alone say: "what do you mean" "uhm......" "can you hold" I have Humana Complete Dental PPO, the dental coverage listed a range of locations nearby that should accept my coverage and this location was listed as top 10. read more

Is this place real?? Patient care is doled out in epic proportions, starting with the front desk crew who actually warmly greets you and you promptly gets you settled in. Wait time is generally brief and this new facility is bright, beautifully decorated, the bathroom is well kept and great smelling and the areas are spacious, yet private feeling. The care staff is engaging and personable and very much concerned with the comfort of the patient, both physically (they even offer neck pillows), and emotionally (asking often if you are okay and doing wat they can to help calm nerves). Dr. Abraham is a dream of a dentist and person, in general. His kind eyes are vigilant to detect even the slightest discomfort you may have and addresses it immediately. Working quickly, with a light hand, yet efficiently tackling the sometimes difficult tasks at hand, Dr. Abraham is a realistic perfectionist when it comes to his work and your satisfaction with what is being done. Personally, I have had MANY unfortunate experiences with dental work and sensing my tension at times, Dr. Abraham made sure to impress upon me that I was in control of my care and if at any time I wanted to stop, my wishes would be respected and honored. I LOVE THIS DENTISTRY!!! Dr. Abraham did a fantastic job on my teeth! I had an exposed tooth on the back of my teeth for over two years and I didn't had dental insurance during that time up until now. He explained to me the process of what he will be doing to my tooth when I first made my appointment. At first I was skeptical because 1.) it sounds and looks painful, and 2.) he promised it will be painless. Now when a dentist says "I promise it will be painless.", I don't trust it because I would always be in pain by the end of the day and would not go back to the dentist because they would do a bad job on my teeth, I will be in immense pain regardless of how many pain medicine I'll be taking, and I end up going to another dentist for them to fix the mistake that the previous dentist has made and won't fix. But today, WOW!! Just...WOW!! Dr. Abraham did a wonderful job on my expose tooth that is now perfectly fixed and, also, painless as he promised. I am coming back here within 2 weeks for my appointment to get a pernament crown while I am wearing a temporary one. I definetly recommend coming here to get your pearly whites fix and clean.
