I had a tooth ache last week so I had it checked out by my dentist. He referred me to an endodontist for a possible cracked tooth. Dr Singer, the endodontist, did not see a crack from a CT scan, but indicated that he wouldn't be sure until he drilled inside to examine the tooth with a microscope. If there was a crack then the tooth would need to be extracted. Two days later I had the procedure. He didn't find a crack ... thank goodness! Since that molar had a previous root canal, Singer removed the old filling, disinfected the canal and repacked it. This procedure is called a endodontic retreatment. He save the tooth! Dr. Singer was quick and efficient with the procedure. You can tell he runs a tight ship. The office staff and assistants were very friendly and helpful. I got a root canal and build up post. Many years ago my filling fell out I had seen him for the same tooth if I needed a root canal but since it was not bothering me he suggested to come when I have pain or any other issues. I eventually got a fistula so had to finally get a root canal. He was very quick and I had not pain. His technique is numb instantly. His staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. After having a bad experience at a different endodontist office in Torrance and being told the sensitivity was in my head I came to Dr. Singer. He found an infection and a piece of a tool in my root canal. He was able to remove both and I'm optimistic that I will heal properly this time around. My dentist called Dr Singers office and sent me there for 2 root canals. We were not told that he really didn't have an opening and I would have to wait in his office for over 90 minutes. Ok, maybe he was trying to fit me in for many reasons. However, at 4:15, Dr Singer starts on my double root canals. Then at 5pm, he said he couldn't keep his staff after 5 so he would have to finish my root canals at another time. Dr Singer left the building before I got out of the chair, his office staff did not leave, only he left. The next day I called in a lot of pain, I got no return call. Not that day, not ever. I had to get an antibiotic prescription from my dentist. Finally a week later my root canals were finished and Singer says well, all the infection is gone. The prescription for antibiotics was not from him. He left me half done for a week in pain and with no return call. read more

Dr. Erik E. Singer is the best endodontist ! He is so gentle and explains what he will do to save your tooth. He provides the proper anesthesia to make it a painless procedure. Afterward, you receive information and medication that you need to continue to be pain free. Everyone in his nice office is very friendly and helpful. They handled everything with my dental insurance so that I didn't need to deal with it. I had a root canal procedure done in early April. I was not surprised at how painless it was because, in 2009, Dr. Singer had done my first (and only other) root canal. I have never had any issues with that tooth since then. My highest compliments to the great folks at this office. It's clear that they value their patient's. I was blessed to have Dr Woo do my first ever root canal. She was extremely gentle. I did not even feel the anesthesia injection nor any of the treatment that was being done on my #4. The amount of anesthesia was on point as well. It's too unpleasant to be overly anesthetized. Dr Woo was precise on this. A huge shout out to Lili who coordinated my appointment did X-rays and assisted Dr Woo. Her care and kindness helped to ease my nerves. I had been going to the same dentist for 20+ years and realized that I wasn't getting good care, so I switched dentists only to find out that I needed to get a couple of root canals. I was referred to Dr. Singer. His staff were SO patient with my many questions and understanding the process, payment, etc. They were kind and helpful from the moment I stepped into the office all the way until I was out the door. Dr. Singer isn't the most talkative person but you can tell he knew what he was doing and he was extremely skilled at it. He had his dental assistants on their toes constantly and worked very quickly and precisely to get my root canals done correctly. I was scheduled for a root canal, and three days before the procedure I was told of an additional $500 charge out of pocket because the procedure will take up into another time slot .Office manager stated this is because they can't book another patient. I never had this good experience with dentist. and I am always nervous and even i have a good insurance, i still feel like there would be hiding fees. But Singer's office, every single person working there was SUPER helpful and also they go out of their way to help me. My dentist referred me, and I went to Dr. Drik Singer for a root canal after my brides were installed. When you step into the office, everyone there is amiable and professional. Once you are checked in and placed in the room, Dr. Singer is professional and meticulous from the start until the procedure ends. He was all business, explained well, and walked you through the process. I was very nervous then, but after the briefing, I felt comfortable and knew I was in good hands with him. Let me preface my review with a little bit f background. I'm a baby when it comes to any kind of dental work. While I never had bad dentists, my childhood is riddled with constant dental experiences. All but 1 of my teeth had to be pulled and I'm pretty sure all of my adult teeth had to be drilled at one point or another. I also have a super sensitive gag reflex. Im pretty sure I have PTSD when it comes to dental work. So my worst fear came true a few weeks ago when my dentist told me I'm probably looking at a root canal. They referred me to Dr. Singer's practice and I'm SO glad they did! Dr. Woo and her assistant(?) Lily we're tremendous in not only easing my fears, but also accommodating my requests for "more suction" lol They also gave me all the information I needed to know to feel I know hat was going on AND keeping all the stuff I DON'T want to know from me! The procedure took about an hour and a half but it was totally fine after the initial Novocaine. And as far as I can tell, it went without a hitch. I was expecting to come home with pain and having to nurse it for the next few days, but there has been NO pain at all. It's almost as if I hadn't gone through one to begin with. I was dreading about this root canal but the team made me feel comfortable. They are very organized and helpful in scheduling appointments and verifying with insurance. Dr. Woo is excellent. I was pleasantly surprised how professional and caring the staff was. Dr Woo was very good! She made me feel very comfortable discussing my options for a root canal and when the work was completed and after I went home I did not have to take any pain medication.
