Dr Keith and Dolores were so amazing and kind. Dr Keith saved my teeth!! He is committed to long term solutions to strengthening and preserving teeth to prevent costly procedures down the line. It is mind blowing how much our bodies are capable of regenerating bone and strengthening teeth with consistent treatment and patience. I learned a lot from getting treatment here. Definitely see Dr Komatsu and team if you're looking for a skilled and trustworthy endontist that looks out for what's best for you and not just what's best for his bottom line. read more

If you need an endodontist, Keith Komatsu is the doctor you want to see. Dr Komatsu did a root canal on a bicuspid tooth, I felt no pain during or after my visit. The staff is wonderful, kind and helpful. If I'm ever in need of another root canal, I will definitely go back! read more

This review is long overdue but I wanted to contribute to share how amazing Dr. Komatsu and his staff have been in my implant journey. He is a wonderful endodontist, super experienced, kind, patient and thorough. He explains every step and process so that you are at ease and understand what is going. I am super grateful to Dr. Komatsu for the excellent work he did and only wish he could be my primary dentist. Highly recommend him for all dental work. read more

Dr Komatsu is the best. He has done a lot of wonderful work on my teeth over the years. He is very gentle, kind and thoughtful. He explains fully what and why he is doing each thing. His staff is great, chair side and the office staff are all friendly and helpful. He extracted my four bottom teeth that could not be saved and created a permanent bridge that is still perfect years later. His explanations are very clear. He is the kindest of anyone that has ever worked on my teeth. I would highly recommend him. Marilynn T read more

I am very disappointed with this doctor. I thought I was going to have root canal done on one of my teeth. The day of the surgery, he does a catscan on my teeth and the catscan revealed that the teeth cannot be saved. Instead of telling me the findings of the catscan, he acts like he is performing root canal on my teeth. In middle of procedure, he tells me about the findings of the catscan and I should let him pull the tooth. I did not like being keep in dark about the cat scan until middle of supposed root canal. He is all about money. He charged me $145 consulting fee for his initial failed misdiagnosis. He charged my insurance $500 for failed endo procedure. If you chose this doctor, make sure he gives you catscan at initial consultation. read more

If you need a root canal done this is the place to go! I was having molar tooth pain for a while and knew it was time to get it resolved. I was searching yelp for a reputable dentist and came across Dr. Komatsu, DDS. I gave them a call and they were able to squeeze me into their busy schedule. He is an expert in this field, and he will walk you through every step of the process and make sure there is no pain or discomfort at all. If you have heard the term root canal before you know it is usually associated with pain but you wont experience that here! Dr. Komatsu was able to walk me through the whole procedure and offered to do the treatment the same day despite it being so late in the day already. Once they started working on the tooth they were able to get me out of pain and out of there within an hour! They have proper Covid-19 protocols in place and they definitely follow them. They will have you wait in your car and call or text the number when you get to the door at your scheduled time. You fill out most of the paperwork online and just have a few digital signatures when you get into the office. They have hand sanitizer which they have you use once you get inside and do regular temperature checks both at check in and before the treatment. If you are looking for a safe and professional endodontist this is the place to go! read more

Dr. Komatsu is simply the best. I've had dental problems all my life and have never had such great care. He is so concerned about any pain which is lovely. The good news is, there never has been. I've had two teeth pulled and posts implanted by Dr. Komatsu. My husband has had work done too. We adore him. Office staff is fabulous too. What a joy - if going to the dentist can ever be called a joy. read more

Dr. Komatsu and his team are consummate professionals who make every visit to his office low stress and essentially free of discomfort. I have needed quite a bit of endotontic work, including an extraction and implant, saving a front tooth (!) and more. I can say I was lucky, but I believe it is Dr.Komatsu's skill and care that made each treatment successful! read more

I went to Dr. Komatsu to get a second opinion for a failed root canal. He was so meticulous and now for the first time in a couple of years the area feels like it is healing. My bite has also been off for a couple of years from a poorly implanted crown which he also corrected, I forgot what normal felt like. He is so gentle, and kind and his staff are so accommodating, the office feels like a family. For the first time in a long time, I feel like my teeth are becoming healthy again. I cannot thank the entire office enough. Patti Sogaard read more

He's amazing, gentle, professional, friendly and pain-free. I was also struck by how accommodating he was. I was told by my oral surgeon that I needed a root canal; he recommended Dr. Komatsu. I called that day and saw him at 4:00 p.m and got a root can at 4:30. He followed up with me later that evening to see how I was doing. When I needed some follow up care he saw me on a Sunday, which was above and beyond the call of duty. And even when I couldn't make a morning appointment that I made, his wonderful staff found a spot for me later in the afternoon. I was so impressed with Dr. Komatsu and his staff that I will recommend him to anyone who needs an Endodontis. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr. Komatsu. I am so grateful to the care and consideration you showed me. You are an amazing professional and a phenomenal healer. read more

Before my root canal I was extremely nervous, Dr. Komatsu explained very clearly what my condition was, his care and professionalism put me at ease, he was very gentle in administering the needle and the procedure itself was painless, and afterward I had no pain at all. The office staff is excellent and efficient, I highly recommend Dr. Komatsu. read more

When I was 12 years old, I broke my jaw playing basketball. To no surprise, I've been in and out of a dental chair my entire life. Surgeries, root canals, bleaching, braces, fillings, etc. I've done it all. Yes, I still have my real teeth. But it wasn't without the knowledge, care, and expertise of a handful of specialists. One of them was Dr. Keith Komatsu. Keith has worked on my teeth a number of times throughout the years. It's difficult to describe my procedures mainly due to the fact I don't want to sound ignorant however, Keith saved my teeth. Not to mention, cosmetically they look fantastic. I'd be remised if I didn't give credit to Dr. Ellen Hayashi as well. She keeps my gums healthy and teeth looking so good. Yes, I will be sticking with Keith and Ellen for a long time. I've been around the block once or twice and I appreciate dentistry I cant count on. Not to mention the staff and location make each visit something to look forward to! read more

I had a toothache. Two dentists weren't able to definitively tell me what my problem was. The second one referred me to Dr. Komatsu. On the first visit he took a conservative approach and recommended I come back a week later to see if he could really figure out what my problem was. On my second visit he definitely figured out I needed a root canal, which I had never had done before but had heard plenty of reasons to worry. Lo and behold, Dr. Komatsu made immediate time for me, performed the nearly two hour root canal, and I honestly never felt even one little bit of pain. He was remarkable!! read more

Unfortunately during this trying time of the COVID-19 virus and all of the business and work shutting down, i needed to have a root canal done :(. Lucky for me Dr. Komatsu was able to get me in , same day, and have treatment done as well. I work as a dental hygienist and know my way around this business. Dr. Komatsu and staff were all very friendly, professional, and empathetic!! Even though I know exactly what entails this procedure it still is not a fun thing to have done, But i was completely comfortable and Dr Komatsu made sure I was doing ok. I would highly recommend my family, friends and patients to this office if a root canal or even consult was needed!!! Thank you Dr and staff for being able to fit me and take good care of me!! read more

It is obvious that Dr. Komatsu is passionate about what he does. He spends time to understand my concerns. I have been having teeth problems including pain for a couple years now and he is very patient in helping me resolve my problem. Dr. Komatsu did 2 root canals on me and I fell asleep during both treatments! Painless root canal sounds like an oxymoron but not when Dr. Komatsu is doing the root canal. I have recommended Dr. Komatsu to numerous people for both root canal treatment and implant placement and all of them had the same great feedback! read more

I had a nightmare experience at a previous Endontist. I was scared to get my root canal done. But Dr Komatsu has a very calming manner about him which made it easy for me to trust him. read more

The services at Dr. Komatsu's office are absolutely the best! I would give him 10 stars if that was an option. He is compassionate, always reachable, and trustworthy. He always makes sure I understand the treatment plan and that I am comfortable afterwards. I just had my 11th and 12th root canals. I waited, in pain, for an extra week (he was on vacation) so I could see him. I didn't want to see anybody else because I don't trust anybody as much as I trust him. I have had emergency situations and he hasn't hesitated to come in after hours to treat me. His office staff is polite and accommodating. I recommend him often and wouldn't trust my root canals to anybody but him. read more

I needed root canal and since I had a terrible experience years ago with another endodontist , I was anxious going for a consultation. When you enter the office it has a welcoming atmosphere and Josie and Dolores couldn't be more pleasant or professional. Dr. Komatsu was patient, calm, thoroughly explained what was needed and appeared very honest. I had root canal and NEVER any pain during or after the procedure. He has a gentle touch. He has state of the art equipment and I was totally impressed with all of it. Very happy with his work. read more

A level of quality, excellence, and patient care above the rest. Highly recommend to anyone in need.

When you first meet Dr Komatsu he might come across as a man with a serious demeanor. But once he starts working on you you quickly realize that he's very gentle, caring, thorough and skilled at what he does. At the beginning of the appointment he patiently answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. During the procedure I was so comfortable that I almost fell asleep! (I had a 7:30am appt) His office has state of the art equipment and his staff are friendly, organized, and efficient. I was very impressed with how the appt went from start to end and I would definitely refer friends and family to him! read more

Dr. Komatsu and Dolores got me out of some of the worst pain I have ever experienced. It started out of nowhere on a Monday night, and by the next day it was so bad, I couldn't make it through the day (or the night) anymore without constantly taking Ibuprofen. The strange thing about the pain was that it seemed to originate in a gum area without any teeth (former wisdom teeth site). I went to my regular dentist, then a dental surgeon, who sent me down the street to Dr. Komatsu, past 4:00 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon. Not only was Dr. Komatsu able to diagnose the problem, but he also offered to do the root canal immediately. As it turned out, I had some rare presentation of root pain: Even though the pain was caused by a dying root in a tooth I've been having issues with ever since a dentist first did a terrible job on it when I was 19, the pain manifested in a different area of my gums. Dr. Komatsu was spot on, and even though it was well past 5:00 p.m. at that point, he and Dolores got to work immediately. By 7:00 p.m. I was out of the office and literally crying because I was so happy and relieved. I should also add that I have a severe phobia of the dentist (like so many). I won't even go in for a crown without Valium and Nitrous oxide. Neither was available at the time, but I was in such excruciating pain, I didn't care. And the whole procedure was *entirely painless*. I was shaking for a good part of it, just because I'm generally so afraid. But it was very obvious that Dr. Komatsu knew what he was doing. His calm, matter-of-fact demeanor really calmed me down. And Dolores was not just an amazing assistant but also an engaging person to talk to leading up to the procedure, which is something that really helps me deal with my anxiety. I highly recommend Dr. Komatsu and his team to anyone with root pain, but especially to people with anxiety, like myself. I'm completely pain- and discomfort-free for the first time in over a decade. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Komatsu for years now, he has done phenomenal work in my mouth with minimal discomfort. Just had a quick 10 minute check-up this morning. He is ever so professional with a great bedside manner and clearly explains what needs to be done and his recommendations. Just last year my dentist referred me to him since I had a root of a tooth decay and I was told I would likely require a root canal, possible implant/porcelain tooth. Dr. Komatsu was able to do the root canal, place a post and save the good parts of the tooth in 2 visits. His staff is amazing, on the ball with what needs to be done, efficient and quick to get you room'd on time, start with ordered x-rays/other immediately after your arrival. Ex. This morning I arrived to my 8AM appointment at 7:59AM, in the chair at 8, repaired tooth/gum x-ray's by 8:03, saw Dr. Komatsu for assessment and then teaching and out by 8:11 with my 6 month appointment follow-up appointment in my hand! Forever thankful to them. Never mind driving the nearly 39 miles/75 minutes in the morning to get to his office, 'cause I know I am in good hands :-) read more

I do not enjoy getting root canals especially after a previous dentist did not numb me sufficiently during a root canal procedure and I felt like an ice pick was rammed into my head. It got to the point where I needed a valium before a procedure (I have had 4). Then I was referred to Dr. Komatsu. Dr. Komatsu has a great demeanor and is an excellent endodontist. I felt no pain and the procedure was flawless. He also has state of the art equipment. His staff is-friendly and knowledgeable about the insurance processes. I returned for a follow up visit and he reviewed the x-rays with me and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend! read more

I was referred to Dr. Komatsu by another dentist who claimed that Dr. Komatsu was one of the best in his field. I honestly thought that was a very strong statement but after my visit and treatment I agree 100 percent. I was in extreme pain for days. I thought I was going to lose a tooth but Dr. Komatsu got me in his busy schedule quickly and performed a root canal while saving my crown on top of that tooth.
