Special shout out to Carolina (she's always super friendly and nice!). Wait times are not long (maybe 5 min), and typically only 1, maybe 2 others in the waiting room. The longest i ever waited was maybe 20 mins, but that is not usual. They definitely schedule things with the patient in mind :) This practice also accepts Medi-cal dental insurance which is nice, and for the times i had to pay for something that wasnt covered, their prices were reasonable (pretty much market rate, sometimes a bit lower compared to other places i asked!). Do take caution if you get hygienist Dr. Danan--everything was smooth sailing for me until I got paired with her. She'd be very rough during the cleanings, and always ask if i flossed (which i do, everyday) because my gums bled quite a lot. I never had this issue in previous cleanings (when i was paired with others). I'm not sure if Dr. Danan is new, but I was able to request going back to having my cleanings with someone else, and that worked out great. My gums didnt feel assaulted and there were no issues :) Highly recommend Flossy Dental and even after moving farther away, I still stick with them!!

West Coast Dental of Torrance has really turned around in a good way from where it was 3 or so…read moreyears ago. The staff have always been friendly and courteous, but back around 2023-2024 it felt sometimes like this came at the cost of service and speed; there were several times that I would check in at my appointed time, but not be taken back until 30 minutes later, and then STILL not see the practitioner for another 45-60 minutes after that. However, over the last year those have all seemed to improve greatly. My last few appointments were either taken care of swiftly - or, in cases where they were overwhelmed or running too far behind, they were quick to discuss with me about alternatives and reschedule as needed rather than leave me waiting. My own appointment today involved an additional procedure on top of the routine cleaning, but the entire process (as well as X-Rays) were done in just under 2 hours. This place has been my go-to for dental checkups and work for well over a decade now, through both the good and the bad on both sides... and right now, I can say with confidence that it's sitting on the good side of service and efficiency.

Ever since going to Heart Dental, I have now gotten my mom, my brother, and my aunt on board for going there and becoming patients of the office. The staff at Dentist of Torrance has gone above and beyond to help my visits feel less daunting. I had a great first impression over the phone when I scheduled my initial visit.
