I have found my forever dentist! Daniel Tang was kind, gentle, and VERY thorough. This was my first visit, but already very impressed! One of the main reasons I liked him... right away I felt comfortable and trusting. He has amazing 'bedside manner', and didn't feel he was just trying to milk my insurance, like so many dentists try to do these days! I'm so relieved to find him and highly recommend him and his practice! read more

it was my first experience here and embarrassingly enough i haven't been to a dentist in ages. i was expecting there were a lot of issues with my teeth but turns out i just had build up! (as expected). daniel and his staff made me feel very comfortable and communicated very well about the process, aftermath and continued on educating me on further care for my teeth. they really show care for your teeth and aren't after your money compared to other dental offices. their warm smiles and professionalism made me definitely want to become a regular. especially because they accept medical. i'd highly recommend! read more

I am poor & on medical and my friend recommended this dentist. I was scared and anxious because what kind of great dentist takes medi cal. DR TANG! That's who!! I neglect my teeth like crazy so have been to many a dentist. He is the only one I've been to who is patient. Explains the process and I didn't need the gas with. 10 out of 10 recommend. I will be back. read more

Dr. Daniel Tang has taken away my dentist fears! He is very calming and so good at his job. The office staff are nice, the office itself is clean and organized. I had to get a cavity re-filled, which I learned to fear because of my childhood dentist, but he has definitely healed that! I wish I would've found him sooner! read more

Choosing a dentist is a big deal for me. The relationship between a patient and a dentist is intimate. After years going to a large practice where the dentist himself rarely attended to me, I wanted a dentist who was competent and hands-on. I started seeing Dr. Tang a few years ago. It's a small operation - the doctor, a receptionist, and a dental hygienist. I waited to review the practice until after I had experienced more than routine cleanings and X-rays, which have always been quick, thorough, and professional. Remarkably, Dr. Tang sometimes does cleaning himself. This shows me that he's mindful of his staff's schedules and he's not above doing the grunt work. I appreciate a business owner who knows how to do everything and pitches in to take care of business. Recently a crown cracked and needed replacement. Scheduling an appointment was fast. For the first time, after five crowns, the temporary one Dr. Tang made stayed in place while the new one was being fabricated. Fitting of the new crown was flawless. He even repaired the underlying tooth so that the new crown would work better than the old one. Other reviewers have complained about nobody's answering the phone when they call. This doesn't warrant a one-star review. In this small office, everybody is helping out and sometimes that calls them away from the desk. Anyway, who calls today? Text them like a normal person; they reply fast. Parking is a valid concern. Street parking is usually available in my experience, but if it it's not, there is a parking lot out back. But, hey, at least it's free! My last dentist's parking was $20/hr. without validation. Summary: hard working dentist with a small staff, reasonable costs, that offers friendly and super professional dentistry. Recommend without reservation. read more

Dr. Tang is my favorite dentist. I have have many poor experiences with dentists over the years since childhood through adulthood, simply to receive routine care. Dr. Tang is gentle in his communication and his work. His team has always been thorough and kind with their reminders. I would certainly recommend! read more

Dr Tang is outstanding! In my entire life I've never had the luxury of a dentist that seriously cares about how perfectly you feel & look after he is finished creating dentures that every tooth is excellently matched to your own natural teeth. Dr Tang is a graduate of UCLA. My upper denture fits in my mouth so comfortably without any denture adhesive at all! I haven't had to take them our of my mouth since leaving his ofc 2 days! I have an appt in 1 week for Dr Tang to make a minor adjustment to my bottom denture. My mouth now feels and appears like I easily spent over $10,000. but Dr Tang billed dentical for the entire procedures. He is conveniently located at 2535 Pacific Avenue Long Beach, CA. W/ convenient parking in the back. His ofc beautifully inspires calm peace of mind atmosphere too. CALL HIM, I PROMISE THAT YOU WILL BE GLAD I PLACED THIS REVIEW HERE FOR YOU (562)427-2736 read more

I had my first appointment with Dr. Tang's office today and I was very pleased with the care I received. Dr. Tang and his assistant were professional and they made me feel welcomed and very comfortable throughout my entire visit. Dr. Tang took his time with his oral exam and did a very thorough job cleaning my teeth. He displayed great chairside manner, had great conversation, and delivered great customer service overall. I totally recommend this dental office. It is small (which I actually prefer), but a very clean and comfortable environment. I have been to larger dental offices and some were overcrowded, had staff that didn't smile, and rushed my cleaning to get me out and they went on to the next customer. I am so glad I found Dr. Tang as his office and staff are the exact opposite. I already scheduled my 6-month check-up/cleaning and despite dreading going to the dentist, I am actually happy to be going back to Dr. Tang's office and relieved that I do not need to search for another dentist! Special thanks to Dr. Tang and his staff! read more

After many dental visits, I finally found the best dentist in LA County!!! Dr. Daniel Tang is so thorough with his examination and really cares for your wellbeing. He listens to your concerns and tries his best to solve any issues. He was able to fix one of my teeth by replacing the filling that another dentist screwed up on. I didn't need a root canal, and now my tooth is 100% with no throbbing pain or sensitivity to cold. I can't thank you enough and I should have written this review back in September of 2019. I would highly recommend Dr. Tang for your dental needs, he deserves 10 stars!!! Pros: Clean facility, Excellent staff members, Private Lot, Dr. Daniel Tang read more

Dr. Daniel Tang D.D.S is an immensely genuine and diligent dentist who truly cares about his patients. Him and I chatted for the first few minutes of the appointment about my story of traveling across the country to accept a job in LA then he shared his time of serving as an officer and Dentist for the Army in Louisiana as well as in Iraq. A native of LA, he cares for his patients, thanks his patients for giving his practice a chance, and assures all your dental hygiene concerns are taken care of. I will be sure to come again for my scheduled cleaning in 6 months! read more

Best doctor in the area!!! I meant it! I walked -in and saw this guy at the reception that look like doctor picture shown on Yelp. I thought to myself wwow he look just like the doctor but can't be. I never seen any doctor helping at a reception and definitely not that nice. Turn out he is the doctor. He was just happened to be there so he helps out. He's so great, polite and gentle. Trust the reviews. I never seen any place with all 5 starts reviews. You would think it's unreal. But it is. When the doctor working on my mom who afraid of dentist, he consistently checking up on her the whole time and even give me free advice on my child teeth. I love the doctor and recommended to anyone I know. Upon check out tho, I don't care so much of their reception. I think she wasn't nice but oh well you can't get it all right. read more

Just like another review, Dr. Tang was behind the front desk when I arrived. He promptly explained that his receptionist was out and he was running a little behind. Had to finish a brief questionnaire for new patients which took me less than 5 minutes. After an average amount of waiting (~15 mins) I was escorted to an examination room where a somewhat extensive series of x-rays occurred. Then I waited in a comfortable chair for what seemed like 30 minutes, though I was glad I had better cellphone reception there. Eventually Dr. Tang arrived to complete a speedy-yet thorough cleaning. He was great about explaining what he was doing as well as offering some information about one of his special tools. Once he was finished Dr. Tang answered all of the questions that I had to ask and sent me on my way with all the usually teeth cleaning goodies. Thanks Doc! Friendly dentist, quality care, and only a couple hours out of my day. Would recommend! read more

My favorite dentist I ever been to. I don't even live in Long Beach anymore but I make the long drive because I don't want to switch to another dentist. The place is clean and everybody is real nice. I never have to wait long to get seated and for them to start my checkup and cleaning read more

I have an adult son who is on the Autism Spectrum. We are teaching him self care and how to self-advocate and seeing a dentist is a part of staying healthy. Dr. Tang is wonderful. The Doctor, his staff and I discussed ahead of time our particular situation. It takes compromise on both our parts to make this work but Dr. Tang hasn't let quality of care and professionalism slip. It's only been a few visits but they have been positive visits thus far. read more

The first time we went to Dr. Tang was for an emergency situation. My son's wisdom tooth was extremely painful and Dr. Tang called me back promptly and was able to get my son in that day. A Saturday! He extracted the tooth for a very reasonable price (my son had no insurance) and followed up to check on his progress. My son and I have been going to Dr. Tang ever since then and we wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Tang and his entire staff are professionals and extremely nice as well. read more

Finding Dr. Tang was such a blessing! Love coming to his office. He's so kind, compassionate, and great at what he does! He's not a dentist that's looking to make a profit off of patients just to be greedy. He's thorough in his explanations of the performed work. I even sent my dentist-phobic mom here + she had a great experience. read more

Just recently moving to Long Beach looking for a new dentist because I am no longer in the area where my old one was and it also was not a pleasant experience. Dr. Tang and staff were very thorough, professional and courteous. I had a cleaning done, answered all my questions, didn't feel as if he was trying to drain my insurance, and didn't feel it was a rush job. I was happy with the services that I made another appointment. read more

this dentist is pretty average; his work is pretty satisfactory but the parking lot and parking is not too good. His secretary is nice but the traffic is too heavy in his area. read more

The entrance to the office is on the right hand side of the building. I bring my mom to see Dr. Tang. He is very nice and his voice is very soothing, I kid you not. A plus for me is that he can speak mandarin and use the necessary terms to talk with my mom. As for the office, it has what is needed for general dentistry. Although it is not technologically updated as some other offices, I have no reservations in recommending coming here. His assistant is very nice, knows her stuff and works well with Dr. Tang. read more

Found Dr. Tang on Yelp and just had to continue his raving reviews! He is the best; he is super nice and personable and really cares for his patients. You will receive text reminders for your appointments, which I loved. During my visits, he was very thorough and explained everything with clarity. I am sad that I have recently moved and will not be able have him as my dentist, but if you are looking for a dentist in or near the Long Beach area, absolutely go to him! read more

If you have anxiety about going to the dentist, or have had bad experiences in the past I can honestly recommend Dr. Tang as the dentist to re-introduce you to proper oral hygiene and what a GOOD experience should be like. Not only is he SO gentle, well spoken, and absolutely attentive to your state when you're in his chair, but he got my teeth cleaned without it hurting. Dr. Tang constantly checked in on me to see if I was okay, and he kept reassuring me throughout the process. There was not a single thing he did without first letting me know or walking me through it, and I can say with 100% confidence that he seriously cares about the people that come to see him because it shows in his interactions. The prices he charges are also very reasonable and economical, so there's really no reason not to go give it a shot if you need a new dentist or want to shop around. He won't sell you on anything or recommend procedures he doesn't think you actually need or could benefit from. And this was one of the biggest things for me since in the past I've had other dentists try to push more on me than was actually needed for my teeth. Dr. Tang - thank you for being a caring, gentle, and considerate human being and dentist. You're awesome!! read more

I came to Dr Tang as a new patient, and I didn't think that a simple cleaning process could be as pleasant as the experience I had here. When I came in for my Saturday appt, there was no one in front of me (My former dentist's place would've been full at a 1hr wait), the hygienist Michelle and Dr Tang explained everything that they did and if they noticed something they just stated it and gave tips on how to prevent problem/maintain something. If you're a wary person of dentists as I was, give this place a try! read more

The staff and Dr Tang were very courteous and warm welcoming. If your looking for a good place to go. Look no further. Do be advised however to wait at least a few weeks for an appointment. Looking at all the 5 stars reviews Daniel Tang's dental business provide, I was really excited to do my dental needs here. Unfortunately, that was not the case because when I tried to call them on a normal business hours it went to voicemail. So I left them a message to call me back. They did three days later, I believe her name was Lauren.. I did not pick up for whatever reason and after calling them again it went straight to voicemail AGAIN. I left another message and never heard from them again. So I decided to take my business elsewhere.. Oh well, life goes on. Too bad so sad. read more

Went today for an extraction. Arrived about 5 minutes early for a 1:30pm appointment and Dr. Tang himself greeted me with a smile and escorted me to the room. As he and his DA prepped me, he asked me a series of questions before beginning. Dr. Tang then injected anesthesia for numbing, and within 8 minutes that tooth was out! Wtf! Quick and efficient. I was back home and resting within 30 minutes. Also, what I appreciate about his receptionist Laura is that she'll give you a pretty accurate estimate of what you'll owe at the end of your visit. Helps to be prepared and not blindsided by any surprise charges. Will be coming to Dr. Tang for the rest of my dental needs! read more

I was so impressed with how Dr Daniel Tang has figured out how to safely take care of dental needs during a time when I wasn't sure if I should risk it at this time(Covid-19)! He is very on top of his communications, is kind, flexible and left it up to me whether I was comfortable coming in. He has his lobby seat spaced far apart, his hygienist was so thorough and gentle wearing a mask and a clear shield and did a detailed job with my teeth cleaning, and he came in a respirator and face shield which made me feel super safe. He is a thoughtful and conscientious doctor and a gentle and intelligent human being. He takes my dental insurance which cannot pay much and is generous with his time and knowledge. He even have me my new toothbrush and floss in a way I would not take home any germs. A++++ read more
