I just left Dr. Hiroshige and his staff and I can honestly say they are 5 stars all the way. I found him through Yelp and I knew I was in the right place when I saw all the USC paraphernalia all over the office. I knew immediately I was in good hands. Dr. Hiroshige is the dentist to go to in Gardena and the South Bay!!!!!! Parking is super convenient and he has all the latest technology. The XRay tech was super nice and made sure I was comfortable with my X Rays. They took both an XRay and a 3D photo of my bite. Luckily I had no cavities but i needed a very deep cleaning! Dr. Grace worked on my teeth for a good hour. She took her time and was plugging that tartar away from my teeth. Im so grateful for her and her expertise! After the cleaning Dr. Stephen explained my crowded teeth and the consequences if it was not fixed. I took the advice and am getting them corrected. Dr Hiroshige is the best dentist I have been to in years! I haven't had great experiences in the Los Angeles area- always long wait times, rushed exams, staff that didn't seem to care, etc. This was the opposite and I was so pleasantly impressed!! I came in for the Zoom whitening, and not only did they take their time, but they also gave me 'at home' teeth trays which I was not expecting to receive. Such a great experience! The office is located above the US Bank in the Denker Plaza. When I arrived inside the building, I won't lie, it was a little creepy. The space looked desolate and I didn't know which floor they were on. Luckily there was a directory adjacent to the elevator so I went to the third floor. The space is like a cute little oasis, they have a beautiful fountain near the front desk and the receptionist was really nice and welcoming. I filled out all the forms, standard for any first time visit, and they called me in fairly quickly. Each room was impeccably clean! I was super happy to be there (which is weird because I'm scared of the dentist). The dental assistant took my x-rays and was very gentle and explained the entire process to me. From there I got my consultation with Dr. Hiroshige and then I got my cleaning by his wife Dr. Hiroshige (Grace). She was the absolute best and kept making sure I was comfy throughout the entire process. First impressions say a lot and I am so happy that I found a great dentist near the area! Thankful for this practice, my root canal crown came off on a Thursday night and was able to be seen the next day in the afternoon. It gets better. They called me in the morning because of a cancelation, and I was able to be seen earlier. I was worried because it was dark brown underneath, but they were able to treat it and fit me for a crown. I felt no pain, and they were fast and super friendly. I recommend them to anyone who is leery of dentists. Amazing staff! read more

If you're looking for a great dentist, this is your place. I went here for a cleaning but also had other small issues I needed fixed quick. I had a small cavity that was causing pain on my right side, I let the dental hygienist know and she let the dentist know. Dr. Hiroshige came in took a look at it and said he could take care of it that day. It was a quick fix and no more pain and saved me from it getting worse too. Thank You Dr. Hiroshige! Through the years I have gone to several dentists and two different orthodontist in the past. They all told me that I need to pull out 4 teeth in the back in order to straighten my front teeth. Amazing dental care in the South Bay for me and the family (3 generations of us!). We've been coming here for years. This office is organized, warm and friendly. They clearly explain billing, procedures and after-care. My kids have been his patients since they were toddlers and even with their later extractions, the Dr and staff made sure the kids felt comfortable and managed anxiety with music and/or videos. I was nervous about some of it and he was incredibly reassuring and explained everything very clearly. I felt confident with every visit that I was in great hands. All of my crowns look amazing. I'm especially happy with the work he did on my front teeth which were browning and angled slightly back due to an accident many years ago. I had been on a hunt for a decent dentist for a while. I'm glad to say I've finally found one with Dr. Hiroshige, his wife (also a dentist I believe) & their staff. The entire staff is knowledgeable & able to explain things easily. Both my son & I have had several procedures done here since I first visited in June. I've had horrible experiences with "big name" dental offices, after some X-rays I got a list of over thousands of dollars in dental work we needed. Made it seem like money is all they were after. Total opposite here, Dr. Hiroshige was compassionate, not in a rush, honest & above all patient with my child as I explained his past traumatic experiences (You'd cringe if I got into details). I don't leave reviews often but knowing the difficulties I had finding a dentist both my son & I liked caused for one. This office will not disappoint if great service is what you're looking for. I went to Steve for a second opinion, he checked it out and said it was just some root exposure and all I needed was a slight filling. That was 15 years ago and that tooth has not bothered me since. Sorry. I thought he wasn't a very good dentist. He will find tiny little "cavities" at the surface of my teeth, drill into it and fill it with composite. At the end my teeth was a bunch of tiny pockets of composite. There's no way it is stronger than real teeth. I also thought he was lazy. He never looked at my teeth after cleanings. Nope.
