The car was great but now we can't get our license plates and registration from them and it's been almost 60 days since we bought the car.

Your salesman told me that they had limited shop techs there and didn't have time. The real problem is not only did it have a low tire, but it also has a bad TPMS sensor on the wheel. He knew this and did not want to tell me. I would have appreciated a bit more honesty. The guy knew I was buying this car for my son. But yet, he let us drive off from your lot with a low tire and a bad TPMS sensor. They are only $60. What's $60 for someone's safety. Especially a VALUED CUSTOMERS safety. Or a teen drivers safety. Is this behavior just your one salesman or is this the way Northside treats all of its customers. The salesman's name was Donnie. Just to clarify. I don't want anyone else taking the blame of this review. The star rating on this has been changed for the reasons above

It was such abhorrent nonsense, their finance guy claimed "no one has ever bought a used vehicle from us without purchasing these extras" (again, extras no one would ever buy these items on purpose-- no one.) If that's the case (and I'm sure that was a lie,) then the true price should be listed on autotrader-- not the B.S. bait price. Eventually took a few hundred off, but still was forced to pay more than the price on autotrader to complete the sale. Could easily tell this was their M.O. and it is disgraceful.

Truck. Then, they gave me a quote on parts at at least a 5X markup on the retail price, claiming "we only use OEM for Ford." I showed the manager the OEM part for I needed around $100 online. He just bullshitted and bullshitted, then told my 87-year old mother (my ride that day) he'd be happy to do business with her anytime but not me. What? When I slammed my hand on the counter, which was louder than I expected, they called the sheriff. I was simply a disgruntled customer. Three police cars showed up, each of them wondering why the hell they got a phone call. Meanwhile, this manager would not release my vehicle until I paid $379.90 for their "assessment." I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH MALFEASANCE. I am ashamed this business calls itself Christian Brothers. I hope everyone reads this interview and that manager gets replaced. They blew me off for 5-days during my work week, then did the shoddiest of assessments, held my truck captive, took zero responsibility, and called the police on me. I'm not kidding. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

If you drive a Toyota, I highly recommend this service department. It's cheaper for me to get an…read moreoil change and tire rotation at this dealership than just about all of the major oil change places and what's great is they use Toyota parts and update everything to Carfax. I typically show up with no appointment and I'm in and out in about an hour or so. Obviously, if you show up at peak time, or on a Saturday, it can take longer. There's a Taco Cabana within walking distance, so I typically walk over there, have a few margaritas, walk back and I'm out the door. If that isn't your thing, they have several nice, large waiting areas with complimentary fountain drinks and coffee. The customer service is just outstanding! I've been coming here for several years and have never had a negative experience. Every service representative that I've delt with has been a pleasure and on many occasions, have surprised me with a coupon or discount that I wasn't expecting. I will always drive a Toyota and as long as I live in this area, I will always give my business to this dealership.

I came to this dealership today for what should have been a relatively routine oil change. I…read morearrived at approximately 11:20 AM, expecting the service to be completed within a reasonable amount of time. It is now 4:30 PM, and I am still waiting for my vehicle. What has made this experience particularly frustrating is that I have repeatedly been told that the service will take "another hour to an hour and a half." At this point, I have already spent more than five hours at the dealership for an oil change, with no clear or reasonable explanation for why a routine service is taking this long. Another major concern is the way additional services and repairs are presented. During what was supposed to be a basic oil change, the dealership appears to recommend and upcharge for numerous additional services, often presenting them as though they are critical or urgently needed. I understand that dealerships have inspections and may identify maintenance items that should eventually be addressed, but there is a significant difference between something that is actually necessary or safety-critical and something that is simply recommended maintenance or an opportunity to generate additional revenue. Customers should be given clear information about: * What is actually required immediately for safety or proper operation. * What is recommended maintenance that can reasonably be completed at a later date. * What the actual consequences are of postponing a recommended service. * The cost of each service without making customers feel pressured into approving unnecessary work. The combination of aggressive upselling and an extremely long wait time has made this experience especially disappointing. If the dealership is going to recommend numerous additional services and charge dealership-level prices, I would at minimum expect reasonable communication, transparency, and timely completion of the service I originally came in for. I was not expecting to spend essentially my entire afternoon at the dealership for an oil change, especially after arriving at 11:20 AM. Being told repeatedly that I need to wait another hour to an hour and a half, after already waiting for several hours, is unacceptable customer service. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reviews both the service department's communication with customers and the way additional maintenance recommendations are presented. Customers should not feel that they have to question whether a recommended service is genuinely necessary or simply being used to increase the repair order. Overall, this has been a very frustrating and inefficient experience, and it has significantly affected my confidence in bringing my vehicle back to this dealership for future service.

**BEWARE! Avoid AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Spring.**…read more I am a retired 100% disabled Navy veteran living on a fixed income. This 2021 Ram Limited 1500 is the last vehicle I will own. I bought it new from Ram in May 2021 for nearly $75,000 because the manufacturer markets it as a high-end luxury truck. I expected AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Spring at 21027 Interstate 45, Spring, TX 77388 to stand behind it. After three visits I am warning others to stay away. Their prices run about 30% higher than other shops in the area. I learned that the hard way on a simple oil change shortly after moving here. My second visit was for the well-known leather dash separation problem that affects many 2019-2021 Limited trucks. After waiting more than 30 minutes just to speak with a service writer, I was given false assurances. The representative promised to open a service request and said I would get a text with next steps. I left thinking the issue would be handled. No one ever contacted me. Months later I returned to follow up. After another long wait I met a completely different attitude. The representative was dismissive, said the dealership was not responsible, and quoted a repair that would cost me a significant amount of money I cannot afford. They took my information and photos and again promised "someone will contact you." No one did. I am here today only because of a mandatory recall. If I had any choice I would never come back. When service was finished, a man called my name, handed me a piece of paper, and said they were done with my truck. He never introduced himself. He turned and walked away without saying "follow me" or offering any explanation. I followed him out of the customer area to my vehicle. He handed me the key, said "have a good day," opened the door, pulled the service tag off the rearview mirror, and started walking away again. I had to stop him and ask what they actually did. He said they "completed the recall notice." I asked directly what that meant. He replied that they checked it and noted it was "good." That is the entire explanation I received. My assumption is the technician determined the truck was not affected and no work was performed. He appeared to expect me to read his mind. I left the dealership hoping I never have to return. This is disappointing and concerning. The pattern is the same every visit: long waits, empty promises, dismissive staff, and zero communication. Their reviews show this is not an isolated incident. It is how this store operates. This is a widely documented manufacturing defect on the dash. Ram has not issued a recall for it and this dealership will not repair it at their expense. On a fixed income, paying several thousand dollars out of pocket for a known problem on a $75,000 "luxury" truck is a real financial hit. The extra stress of the runaround, the wasted time, and the worry about paying for a repair I should not have to pay for has worsened my service-connected anxiety and health issues. The dealership's 2.3-star rating matches what I experienced: poor service, no follow-through, and no willingness to stand behind the product unless they are forced to. I rarely write reviews. I am writing this one so other veterans and fixed-income owners can save themselves the money, the frustration, and the extra stress. Do not buy here and do not bring your vehicle here for service.
