As many…read moretimes as I have been to Robert Station the staff there have always been courteous, respectful, and professional. I don't believe Bruce would allow anyone there to be disrespectful or belligerent with any customer. These are local, down home people who respect all and do their jobs efficiently and put the needs of the customer as their first priority. I usually don't get off into all the social media posting but this is about as absurd as it gets. There's no call for someone to purposely lie just because THEY were having a bad day. I've personally used Robert Station for more than 15 years and have never had a bad experience there. He called and turns out the awful noise was a simple fix with my heat shields around my exhaust. He only charged me the 45 bucks total because he just adjusted them/took rocks out. I can't guarantee your car stuff will be as easy of a fix.... but this showed me Bud's integrity, as I am a young, out-of-towner who knows nothing about cars... and he treated me fairly and with honesty. You must pick them up there...which was a long drive for us. After promising 2 hardly used tires, from another old mans SUV, and taking 60 cash from us, we spent the last 1.5 days trying to get someone to mount them.... It was too busy for him to mount these 2 tires, there, so he had the tires outside the shop door, ready to sell to us. He was too busy so I had to load them. That afternoon, and the next day, we went around St. Tammany, taking these tires to be installed on our rims. Other tire dealers repeatedly said they were way too old (almost 6 years) and are too cracked all over, to use safely. After the long drive, to buy them, we were shocked that Bedico tire allows old and unsafe tires to be resold, with that old age, and cracking issues. We are also older, and didn't notice the fine cracks, initially, so he got over us. He had to know that tires have dates on them. That was a long drive, to Bedico, to be taken.... Be careful. Other tire stores were shocked, that Bedico Tire was allowing this to happen.

Anyways, climbed in my car after the torrential downpour earlier this week only to discover my rear end was SOAKED... My sunroof had leaked and the drivers side was flooded. Great. My dad and I took a look at it, and it looked like dry rot, so we called my usual mechanic to try to schedule an appointment, but after talking to him for a few minutes he said it sounded like the seal needed to be replaced, but they don't do that. I called around to several places in the area & in New Orleans, and either they didn't do the work, they wanted to charge an exorbitant amount of money, or they were Ford and wanted to replace the whole unit because it was a motor problem (a $1200 repair). Finally got a hold of Zoom Tech, and spoke to Austin who got me to come in for them to take a look to see if they could replace it, and they told me it might be a simpler (cheaper), solution, so they convinced me to leave it with them to run some diagnostics. $60ish later, it was a simple cleaning problem. They saved me money AND unnecessary stress, and they even gave me a discount on an oil change (plus checked my brakes/rotated tires/other maintenance inspection). What sets them apart: 1. They listen 2. They don't try to overcharge you or sell you a horse and cart when you just need the cart. 3. They called me before doing ANYTHING, and gave me a detailed work-up of what needed to be done, and how much (right down to the tax!) 4. They checked everything else out on my car and then gave me advice on proper maintenance and things to check regularly to keep from having huge bills down the line 5. They even gave me a ride to work, so I wouldn't be inconvenienced! (It wasn't even necessary, they're just THAT nice). So support your local businesses, especially ethical, family-run, old-fashioned businesses and bring your car here instead of selling your first-born child to the devil, I mean, the dealership.

I was informed that I would have to wait 4 hours, because someone came on before me. It was 3 Charter Spectrum vans. I explained that I had an appointment, but they did not care. I was asked to come back tomorrow. I most certainly will not be coming back tomorrow or ever! The business model has online or over the phone appointment bookings. That is clearly how the business plan is set up. However, the workers do not honor that. It was more important to them to milk the cable company on a four hour break job than to keep a good name for their business. Clearly, there is no point in the appointment system. They did not value my time, so they will never get my money! The worker told me it was first come, first serve. That completely undermines the booking system! I will spend my money at places that value my time and honor their word!!!​
