I was informed that I would have to wait 4 hours, because someone came on before me. It was 3 Charter Spectrum vans. I explained that I had an appointment, but they did not care. I was asked to come back tomorrow. I most certainly will not be coming back tomorrow or ever! The business model has online or over the phone appointment bookings. That is clearly how the business plan is set up. However, the workers do not honor that. It was more important to them to milk the cable company on a four hour break job than to keep a good name for their business. Clearly, there is no point in the appointment system. They did not value my time, so they will never get my money! The worker told me it was first come, first serve. That completely undermines the booking system! I will spend my money at places that value my time and honor their word!!!​

I had earlier changed her battery, but her car still would not start. I found Russell's Auto Repair on Yelp and I drove to their facility. When I got there, I spoke to Michael and told him about the car troubles. He reassured me that he would take care of the car as quickly as possible so my daughter could be able to get back and forth to school and work. He recommended a towing company, and I got the car towed that morning. Shortly after they got my daughter's car, I got a call back from Michael letting me know the problem with it and the cost. Within three or four hours, they changed the starter and went over her vehicle for any other issues. The cost was very reasonable and the professionalism that Michael portrayed was well worth going there. Thank you again for getting us up and going in such a short time. After a less-than-stellar experience by one of the more local, yet highly visible oil change places in the area, I was none too keen to get my oil changed by them again. Lo and behold, there was a Valvoline nearby, which I had used years ago while living in another state. When I pulled in, there were large flags indicating discounts for LSU faculty and staff (woohoo - a win I wasn't expecting - about 20% off!) and the folks there directed me to pull around into one of the bays. I was there only one there around 9am on a Friday. Brad, Dontae, and Elliot were so friendly and fast at getting my oil changed - took maybe about 20 minutes when all was said and done (including changing out my engine air filter and resetting my dashboard inspection indicator, which is always a hassle - thanks VW for that!). I will definitely be going back when I'm due for my next oil change!
