Knowledgeable, dependable, and most of all, trustworthy. Everything one would need in an auto maintenance shop.

My husband and I were traveling from Houma, LA to Champaign, IL to spend the holidays with our family. This particular event was very special to us, since it was the first time in six years that all of our family would be together in one place for Christmas. As we were driving over the long bridge, we began to experience trouble with our front passenger wheel. I phoned your shop, and spoke with Oscar Mendoza, who assured me that he had the ability to have our vehicle looked at by your mechanics. We arrived thirty minutes later at your shop, and you greeted us, and your team placed our vehicle on the lift and began to assess the damage. The prognosis was pretty grim. Your only concern was to find the necessary parts to make the repairs. You let us know a short time later that the parts had been located, and repairs were underway. The repairs required replacing the knuckle, brakes, calipers and more on the damaged wheel, and because of wear and tear on the drivers front wheel, we replaced those too. We arrived in your shop at 3:30 pm on Dec 22nd, and left your shop at 8:00 pm that same day. We consider what you did for us a "Christmas miracle"! We have shared our story now with countless friends and family. Their response has mirrored our own. We cannot say thank you enough for the fantastic customer service, and immediate response to our travel needs. We did arrive in time to share Christmas Eve, enjoying the hugs and smiles of each member of our family! My husband and I have been Firestone customers for many years, but no matter where we are located, we will think of Firestone first for our auto needs. I just wanted you to know that your repair of our vehicle enabled us to complete our journey on time and make Christmas memories that will last a lifetime! Very grateful customers, Pam and Tom Lynn

Anyways, climbed in my car after the torrential downpour earlier this week only to discover my rear end was SOAKED... My sunroof had leaked and the drivers side was flooded. Great. My dad and I took a look at it, and it looked like dry rot, so we called my usual mechanic to try to schedule an appointment, but after talking to him for a few minutes he said it sounded like the seal needed to be replaced, but they don't do that. I called around to several places in the area & in New Orleans, and either they didn't do the work, they wanted to charge an exorbitant amount of money, or they were Ford and wanted to replace the whole unit because it was a motor problem (a $1200 repair). Finally got a hold of Zoom Tech, and spoke to Austin who got me to come in for them to take a look to see if they could replace it, and they told me it might be a simpler (cheaper), solution, so they convinced me to leave it with them to run some diagnostics. $60ish later, it was a simple cleaning problem. They saved me money AND unnecessary stress, and they even gave me a discount on an oil change (plus checked my brakes/rotated tires/other maintenance inspection). What sets them apart: 1. They listen 2. They don't try to overcharge you or sell you a horse and cart when you just need the cart. 3. They called me before doing ANYTHING, and gave me a detailed work-up of what needed to be done, and how much (right down to the tax!) 4. They checked everything else out on my car and then gave me advice on proper maintenance and things to check regularly to keep from having huge bills down the line 5. They even gave me a ride to work, so I wouldn't be inconvenienced! (It wasn't even necessary, they're just THAT nice). So support your local businesses, especially ethical, family-run, old-fashioned businesses and bring your car here instead of selling your first-born child to the devil, I mean, the dealership.
