When i got home and looked at them, i noticed how dirty they looked and didn't appear to be brand new. I checked the DOT date stamp on all of them and they were from 2023!! Very disappointed!! It's October '25 and they gave me 2 year old tires about to be 3!!!! I have talked with them several times but they refuse to make this right, they wont give a partial refund or swap them out for 2025 tires. People be aware when buying tires, especially from places like this, check the date on them and see how old they really are! The date is stamped into a circle with 4 digits, the first 2 digits are the week and the last 2 digits are the year. They have several locations with the same name!

I brought my car in yesterday to have the air conditioner serviced and I get a call saying my brakes rotors and calipers need replacing and the serpentine belt and pully system as well. I said ok do the work it is what it is. $1900 later I walked out the door at closing time after being there since 8am. Being there that long I assumed the work was done and done well. Skip to today. I drove my car from Mandeville to Slidell and from Slidell to Gretna and then traveling home I was driving in NOLAEAST and I hear something fall from my car and by the time I get to the twin span my breaks were nearly gone. I was able to get it to the Firestone by the grace of God and they put it on the lift and the caliper bolt is what I lost. They ended up replacing the front rotors and breaks again and I'm back on the road. I called the Mandeville store and RONNIE acts like oh well. He said I'm sorry but it happens sometimes. WHAT THE HECK??? IT HAPPENS SOMETIME!!!! I told him when you are playing around with peoples brakes you are playing with peoples lives and that didn't even seem to phase him. That whole situation could have ended up really bad but hey, it happens sometimes. Didn't offer me an any kind of money back for my troubles or any kind of future service at their cost. Needless to say I won't be going to them anymore. Fk Firestone. I hope anyone reading this takes that as a warning to make sure your work is done right before leaving. The tech immediately said he would take a look at it. After a few minutes, he came back and explained that I had a Freon leak and needed to get it serviced for a long term repair. Then offered to fill it for the trip to keep cool in the car. We need more businesses like this in the world. I called my local Firestone - they were open until 3 pm, but they didn't have the tire I needed at their store. They said they would see if they could locate one. I called AAA to get a tow to the Firestone. Firestone called me back to tell me that they had located one at one of the other Firestone stores - and they were sending one of their employees to pick it up. AAA tow truck arrived and I rode with them to the Firestone. They had the tire I needed - installed it - and I was good to go! (And it was affordable, too.) I felt that they had gone above and beyond to get the tire I needed and to get it installed before they closed. I have used this Firestone in the past and have always had good service from them. I would definitely recommend them!

I had my compressor and a few other items changed after multiple conversations with Jim who walked me through different scenarios of replacing different parts. He also was able to send me detailed pictures and comments from his technician via the internet (examples in photos). This made my decision easy to pay to keep this future classic on the road and running well. He also warranties his work,and I received a text thanking me for my business. The A/C kept us cool even in 115* temps in Las Vegas. Will absolutely give an opportunity to do my mechanic work again.
