I made an appointment to drop off my car. However they didn't like where I parked it so they wouldn't service me. They were rude and almost started a fight. Why they didn't choose to just move the car is beyond me. So the warning is don't drop off your car next to the drop off box. Very unprofessional and somewhat childish. There are plenty of better options. Hard to imagine having that much business that you would treat a new customer that way. Best wishes but no thanks. read more

I left a review on Google some time back (probably over a year ago) when I had the work done. I chose David's Automotive after calling around for prices like I usually do with David's giving the best price. All I needed was for them to mount a tire I had bought elsewhere onto the rim of my Trailblazer. I gotta say that not only was this the BEST priced garage around but also the staff are friendly and polite. David seems like a good guy to me even though we only had the one exchange. I would and do recommend him to anyone seeking any type of automotive work as they will accept all types of automotive problems on a case by case basis. The biggest attribute to me at least was that David seemed genuine and honest to me. I didn't pick up on any sort of bullshittery or chicanery. I do ALOT of my own mechanic work. When I need to outsource though, I will definitely check with David before any other garage. read more

Nice to find someone that welcomes your business and treats you like they appreciate it. I find so often that I need something done for a vehicle or something around the house, and you call to get a quote or inquire about GIVING THEM BUSINESS, and they treat you like you're an annoyance to them. David is not that in the least. He did a good job on the maintenance on my truck and was very appreciative of the business. I had a big issue with my car and the dealership couldn't help or the waiting period was too long. I called mr David; after waiting on parts and all a week later my car is perfect and I'm extremely happy!!! If anyone has any automotive repair issues this is the place to go. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MECHANIC OR THIS SHOP; HIGHLY UNETHICAL! I took my vehicle to David's shop for a busted radiator and my vehicle had been having problems starting up over the months taking 3-5 attempts to get it started. I explained to him in detail that I had just had a new fuel pump replaced only 9 months before at another shop out of town and had a new battery installed a year ago. After he kept my vehicle 16 days he charged me $1690 saying he put in a new starter, new thermostat, new fuel pump and new radiator. I told him in front of 2 witnesses that I had had bad experiences with my former mechanics and I wanted to ensure I was receiving new parts and that my vehicle was actually working. He promised me that my parts were new and that I wouldn't have any problems. I asked him for the serial/stock numbers of my new parts and he told me he couldn't give that to me. I asked him to raise my vehicle up on the lift and show me my new parts but he refused. He only agreed to open the hood and point to where the new parts would be and then said that I couldn't see the part because it was blocked by this or that. He backed the truck out of the garage and so I received the truck already running. This was a Friday at the close of business. I didn't use the vehicle again until Monday/Tuesday and again the truck took 3/4 attempts to start up each time I stopped it. I contacted David the very next day to inform him and he told me he didn't have time to get to my truck for at lease another week. I told him that wasn't acceptable so I took my truck back to him that week and insisted he look at it again and fix the problem. I had to walk that day with my child. By close of business David told me something about my carburetor had 8 igniters and fuel was dripping into it and it was over $100 to replace each one and for him to fix it would cost an additional $1200. I told him that I had just paid him $1690 to fix that exact problem and his response to that was that he had overlooked the problem initially and was too busy to get to it for another week but I would have to pay him the additional $1200. This is FRAUD and incompetence! I have no proof he gave me new parts, rebuilt parts or just oiled the old parts because the vehicle is doing the exact thing it was doing when I gave it to him. So not only did he make me wait for my vehicle 16 days, he stole my money, probably sold my parts back for core charges and didn't do the job he was paid to do now after he has my money he doesn't have time to talk to me or fix my truck. Yes, I've reported him to the BBB and talking to an attorney. I don't know if he cheats everyone like that or only women or minorities but I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANY WOMEN OR MINORITIES. I could get over it if he had ethics and when he said he "overlooked the problem the first time" then if he just fixed it that week no love lost but this CROOK wanted more money from me and told me to wait another week or so before he would even get to me now that he had my $1700. I'm a single mother and disabled veteran, David and God knows what you've done and you will be judged for it. Meanwhile, I plan to report you to every agency out there and let everyone I come in contact with know and see exactly what condition you returned my car to me in. It still takes 3/4/5 cranks to get started but you know that already. May you reap what you sow. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MECHANIC OR GARAGE. WOMEN AND MINORITIES BEWARE! read more

My mom was having an issue with her taillights on her older model Jeep Cherokee. David was able to fix the problem efficiently and also found & replaced another burnt out bulb in the process! He charged a very fair price for installation. My mom was more than pleased that she didn't have to be without her vehicle for more than an afternoon!
