They did a complete work-up and found that the compressor was fine, but that a minor leak had resulted in refrigerant leakage. Repairs and refrigerant cost $160. Firestone called me back to tell me that they had located one at one of the other Firestone stores - and they were sending one of their employees to pick it up. AAA tow truck arrived and I rode with them to the Firestone. They had the tire I needed - installed it - and I was good to go! (And it was affordable, too.) I felt that they had gone above and beyond to get the tire I needed and to get it installed before they closed. I have used this Firestone in the past and have always had good service from them. The work is done strictly by the book and without shortcuts or cheap aftermarket parts used that you weren't aware of.
