West San Jose

This is for the Xfinity store at Westgate Mall(Saratoga Ave, SJ)…read more Great service. Stepped in, a young gentleman was busy with customers so I waited a few seconds. He welcomed me and entered my name to be the next in line. Sales-tech Michael(curly haired) was professional. Informed him I wanted "Internet" only and no bundled package. He listened and informed me of my options and the best part, he did NOT force any upsell. I would have walked out instantly and went with another ISP. So that was pleasant experience and I thanked Michael for that. Great job Michael and customers will be happy to talk to you. Cheers! Got my Internet activated and am happy!

Today I went to the Xfinity store on Saratoga Avenue to check the status of my current internet…read moreplan and request to cancel it. Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience with a staff member named Edgar. He was extremely unprofessional. While I was asking about the status of my internet plan, it quickly became clear that he did not seem to understand what I was asking. I had to repeat my question two or three times just to get a clear explanation of the current status of my plan. Instead of helping, he rolled his eyes at me in a mocking way, as if suggesting that my question was stupid. I asked him why he was making such a disrespectful expression toward a customer, and he immediately raised his voice and started arguing with me. It is very difficult to understand how an in-store customer service representative could treat a customer this way. Because of this experience, I have decided that I will no longer use any Xfinity services or products. If a company cannot even handle such a simple request and communicate properly with a customer, that is very concerning. After looking through other reviews, I also noticed that many people have mentioned that the staff at this location are often rude and disrespectful.

I canceled my DirecTV subscription after 20 years and decided to switch to OTA, Netflix, and a few…read moreapps included with my phone service. I bought an antenna and installed it where my satellite dish had been. I chose a multi-directional antenna, thinking it would be enough. Needless to say, the reception was poor. I lived with it for two years, telling myself I was saving money, so who cares. But after getting frustrated yet again while trying to watch a football game and seeing the signal cut in and out, I decided it was time to improve things. I called Antenna Pro's and spoke with Arden, who explained that my antenna needed to be pointed in a specific direction. Unfortunately, based on where it was installed, that wasn't possible. I needed his help, so I set up an appointment for him to come take a look. I had always thought the antenna had to be outside for the best results. Arden suggested trying the attic, saying it would be the easiest solution. I wasn't convinced, there was no way an indoor antenna could pick up as many channels as one outside in the open. Boy, was I wrong. I agreed to let Arden set it up in the attic, and we had it running quickly. The difference was night and day compared to what I had before. We also used his antenna, pointed in the right direction, which was a much better solution than the multi-directional one I owned. I went from about 10 channels, many of them inconsistent depending on the time of day, to 151 channels, with about 90% coming in excellent to very good. I also noticed that my TV, which is fairly new and was bought around the time I switched to OTA, now delivers a much better picture for the OTA channels. The 4K quality practically jumps off the screen. Arden was great, professional, easy to work with, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him if you're struggling with your OTA setup. He's knowledgeable and takes the right steps to solve problems.

My Lenovo laptop went kaput and I was looking for a place to repair it. I remembered Click Away and…read morerealized they have a location on Winchester at Latimer so I called them. The professional representative was eager to help with anything and ensured a free diagnostic.. I totally understand the need to charge for more in depth diagnostics. I am appreciative for your honesty. I hope it won't be a major fix but if it is I am prepared for the outcome and trust your knowledge and recommendations. I used you in the past but the location on McGlincy was out of the way. Now I am happy you are in the Downtown Campbell area . I will be happy to update my review after the diagnostic and even if I don't have it repaired I will work with you and hope to find a good laptop with all my specifications. Remember you should always have a phone number of a reputable repair shop that has remote service available. Patrick called me and said it would be $200 for advanced diagnostics and he suggested to go along with it rather than buying a new laptop. This is always a good question to ask is it worth fixing?

My Nintendo Pro Controller NFC reader (for amiibo) stopped working and Nintendo basically told me…read morethey wouldn't fix it. I really do not want to treat electronics like they are disposable so I searched for a local repair on yelp and found ClickAway. Pros: They responded to my query right away (I sent my request after close and they got back to me asap the following day) They were polite and professional and asked me to bring it in for a free diagnostic so they could see exactly what it needed and if they could fix it. They had a 24 hour turn around, which they stuck to. Cons: They were not able to fix it, because Nintendo just isn't making the part available. (not taking a star off for that, cause that's on Nintendo) The ADA spot in the lot is on the the opposite side of the building from the entrance, The only reason I am not taking a star off for that is the way the closest spots are aligned in a steep stagger, it still leaves room to wrangle mobility aids in and out of the vehicle. It would be nice if one of them was reserved for ADA, because the building is long and the walk from the ADA spot to the front door is a bit of a haul if you are walker-ing or walking with a cane. Over all the crew was really professional and helpful, and I plan on taking my other tech issues to them in the future. HIGHLY recommend them. One tip though, Google Maps is not giving accurate instructions (at the time of this review) on how to get to them. They are going to try and make you make the world's dumbest u-turn, so for reference, it's across latimer from the KFC on winchester, and the lot entrance is to the left of the building as you face it from winchester, it's small and easy to miss, so be careful.
